2013 Tony Awards Wish List Part 1

Anna Kendrick will be on hand Sunday night at the 2013 Tony Awards with duties to present during Broadway's biggest night. I will be at home with my family and friends taking in the event from the comfort of my couch tweeting about the dress and the performances. You may not know but I used to perform on stage while I was in high school so the Tony Awards have always been one of the awards shows that I most look forward too. Anyway back to Anna! She is not my favorite on the red carpet with her thick hair that is usually never styled into anything fabulous and her sometimes questionable taste I am hoping she doesn't let me down. Anna was nominated for a Tony Award for her one and only show on Broadway 'High Society' back in 1998 when she was only 14 years old. Now 15 years later will return to Radio City Music Hall to present another with a coveted Tony. I would love to see her do so wearing this bordeaux ZAC Zac Posen Fall 2013 RTW mermaid strapless gown. I think that this is a simple yet elegant option for Anna. Add a gold crystal embellished Judith Leiber clutch, a pair of strappy Jimmy Choo gold sandals, hair styled into a glam curly up-do, a yellow gold and diamond bracelet, and a pair of yellow gold drop earrings and Anna will wow me on the red carpet.

Former '30 Rock' star Jane Krakowski, who has a long relationship with Tony having been nominated for her roles in 'Nine' and 'Grand Hotel,' will be on hand Sunday night as a presenter at the 2013 Tony Awards. Jane has had a few moments in the past, most notably her Escada at the 2010 Emmy Awards, where she wows me. Well I think that if she were to snatch up this bubblegum pink J. Mendel Spring 2013 RTW strapless peplum gown that she would be back on the track to wow me again on the red carpet. Add some baubles like a silver Judith Leiber crystal encrusted clutch, pink and red Charlotte Olympia pumps, a dazzling diamond bracelet, and a pair of glamorous diamond chandelier earrings and Jane will most definitely have a winning red carpet look on her hands

Megan Hilty won a Tony Award on her NBC show SMASH in the series finale so it would only makes sense that she will be on hand on Sunday to present during the 2013 Tony Awards. Megan doesn't have that much on a red carpet repertoire so I have paired the up and coming red carpet gem with another red carpet up and comer. Georges Hobeika is one of my favorite emerging red carpet designers that celebrities are flocking to for amazing red carpet worth looks. Georges Hobeika has dressed the likes of Julianne Hough, Eva Longoria, Selena Gomez, and Emmy Rossum and I hope that we can add Megan Hilty to that list with this amazing teal Georges Hobeika Signature Fall 2013 RTW gown. I think that with Megan's curves, complexion, and hair color that this gown is 100% the perfect gown for her to wear. Complete with a pair of bronze pumps, a matching teal clutch, and a pair of glam Tiffany & Co diamond earrings and Megan will make her name known on the red carpet.

In her first Broadway credit 'A View From The Bridge' Scarlett Johansson won the Best Actress in a Play award wearing a stunning Elie Saab green gown in 2010. For her appearance at the 2013 Tony Awards as a presenter I am wishing that the stunning actress will will return to the brand and chose this white embellished lace Elie Saab Fall 2013 RTW gown. In the past year we have seen Scarlett wear a lot of black on the red carpet so the clean white gown would provide a stunning contrast to her recent dark looks. Add a bold pair statement earrings in bright red, blue, or green, a silver metallic clutch, and a pair of silver Jimmy Choo peep toe pumps would give Scarlett the amazing red carpet moment that I have been waiting for.

2013 Critics Choice Televison Awards Wish List Part 4

Best Actress in a Movie or Mini-Series for the HBO movie 'Parades End' nominee Rebecca Hall has a pretty good red carpet record with an amazing black Lanvin jumpsuit (L) already nominated for best dressed of the year. For the Critics Choice Television Awards on Monday I would love to see Rebecca don this amazing Giorgio Armani Fall 2013 RTW black gown with a strappy neckline and built in pockets. I have been in love with this gown and am still surprised that it didn't get picked up for the punk themed Met Ball last month. A black clutch, black sandals, a diamond bracelet, and a pair of cluster diamond earrings paired with a sleek bun and a red lip will keep Rebecca one to watch on the red carpet even with a simple black gown.

Sarah Hyland is nominated Best Supporting Actress in a Comedy for the hit ABC show 'Modern Family' and I have to say she isn't one that I am really looking forward to seeing on the red carpet at Monday's Critics Choice Television Awards. 3 years ago when 'Modern Family' first started on the red carpet I was in love with Sarah but she has been making a lot of questionable choices as of late. I think that this black and gold Christian Siriano Fall 2013 RTW shortened to be just below the knee paired with a pair of gold sandals and a black and gold Edie Parker clutch would be the best option for Sarah to make her best dressed comeback.

Sienna Miller is nominated at the 2013 Critics Choice Television Awards for Best Supporting Actress in a Movie or Mini-Series for the HBO movie 'The Girl.' I love that Sienna rocks English brands almost exclusively on the red carpet lately and having not worn an Erdem frock since the 2013 Golden Globe Awards I am hoping to see the actress don another frock from the designer to break up her Burberry run. I think that this black with white, blue, and yellow florals gown from the Erdem Resort 2014 collection would be an amazing option for the British actress. Complete this look with a sleek top knot and a pair of black sandals and Sienna will give me another best dressed ensemble.

2013 Critics Choice Television Awards Wish List Part 3

Julianna Margulies is nominated for a Critics Choice Television Best Actress in a Drama Award for her role as Alicia Florrick in the hit CBS show 'The Good Wife.' Julianna has finally started taking risks on the red carpet starting last year at the 'Cosmopolis' premiere during the 2012 Cannes Film Festival wearing Reed Krakoff. Julianna has never donned a creation by my absolute favorite red carpet designers Elie Saab but I am wishing that for the Critics Choice Awards next Monday that she will. This midnight blue Elie Saab Fall 2013 RTW sleeveless gown with an embroidered bodice is the perfect simple but elegant choice for Julianna for this event. Complete the look with a matching Edie Parker clutch and black Jimmy Choo sandals and Julianna will wow me in a good way.

'The Big Bang Theory' has earned Kaley Cuoco a nomination for Best Supporting Actress in a Comedy. The actress has had over 15 award nominations and only 3 wins for this show and she may have a shot this year at winning a Critics Choice Television Award. The actress has been an almost exclusive devotee to Romona Kevesa on the red carpet and the two have had a few great moments on the red carpet. I think that this navy taffeta Romona Kevesa Fall 2013 RTW halter neck dress with a gold belt. This is a chic option for Kaley who should complete this ensemble with a pair of gold sandals and a blue clutch to ensure a major red carpet moment.

Keri Russell has been noticeably absent from any major red carpet event since wowing at the 2008 Academy Awards wearing a stunning Nina Ricci gown. Well for the 2013 Critics Choice Television Awards I would love to see the actress nominated for Best Actress in a Drama for the FX series 'The Americans' wear this wine colored Georges Hobeika Signature Fall 2013 RTW gown. It is a simple moment but one that I think would allow Keri to shine. Complete with a gold Swarovski clutch, a pair of gold strappy sandals and Keri will have a best dressed look for her big red carpet comeback.

2013 Critics Choice Televison Awards Wish List Part 2

 Jane Fonda is 75 years young based solely on the fact that she rocked a side cutout at the 2013 Cannes Film Festival in aqua blue Atelier Versace. I will say that some of my favorite Jane Fonda looks have come from recent years and sex bomb brands like Versace and Roberto Cavalli. If I were a 75 year old woman and I looked like Jane Fonda I would flaunt it too. Her glamorous sex appeal has inspired me to wish that the Critics Choice Television Award nominee for Best Guest Performer in a Drama Series for her work on the HBO show 'The Newsroom.' I would love to see Jane pair herself up with Atelier Versace again and find her way into this black Atelier Versace Fall 2011 Couture evening gown. I think that Jane is definitely the intended client when Donatella Versace created this stunning piece.  Add a black minaudiere, black peep toe Christian Louboutin pumps, and some simple diamond dazzlers to complete this fabulous look for the fabulous Mrs Fonda.

 Jennifer Carpenter is nominated for Best Supporting Actress in a Drama Series for the Showtime series 'Dexter.' Jennifer is not known for her red carpet style as she keeps it very one note wearing several black gowns. Well I am going to wish that she kind of kick up her red carpet style by wearing this navy blue Zuhair Murad Fall 2013 RTW gown with long sleeves, lace inserts, and a sexy thigh high slit. Add a navy Swarovski clutch, and a pair of black lace Monique Lhuillier sandals and Jennifer may actually not just fade into the background again.

The winner of the 2012 Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series for her hit HBO series 'VEEP', Julia Louis Dreyfus is nominated this year at the 2013 Critics Choice Television Awards for Best Actress in a Comedy Series also for 'VEEP.' Julia has a pretty good track record with looking pretty on the red carpet but I want her to look outstanding. I think that this silver beaded Jenny Packham Fall 2013 RTW black gown is the perfect match for Julia for the 2013 Critics Choice Television Awards. Finish with a black minaudiere, a pair of black peep toe pumps, and a diamond bracelet to ensure a completely glam look.

2013 Critics Choice Television Awards Wish List Part 1

 Next Monday, July 10, 2013, the Broadcast Television Critics Association will honor TV's best at the 3rd Annual Critics Choice Television Awards. Claire Danes is nominated for Best Actress in a Drama Series for her hit Showtime series 'Homeland.' For this awards show I would like to see Mrs Danes redeem herself after a few lackluster red carpet appearances. I think she can do so by donning this amazing electric blue J. Mendel Fall 2013 RTW asymmetrical gown. I think that Claire is among the small crop of celebrities that could pull this gown off. Complete this look with a pair of two stone drop Diamond earrings, a silver Ferragamo minaudiere, and Jimmy Choo silver 'Cosmic' sandals.

 Elisabeth Moss is also nominated for Best Actress in a Drama Series but for her AMC hit show, 'Mad Men.' I used to love Elisabeth Moss on the red carpet but in the past two years she has really gone off the deep end usually choosing hideous worst dressed worthy ensembles. One color I loved to see on Elisabeth was an emerald green and this is not a color that she often goes to anymore. Well I am wishing that she returns to the color by wearing this ZAC Zac Posen Fall 2013 RTW draped gown. I think that this gown would look absolutely fabulous wearing this stunning gown. Add a gold minaudiere, a pair of gold strappy sandals, and a gold cuff will complete this amazing ensemble.

I had already picked a gown for Emilia Clarke to wear for this event but unfortunately Nicole Kidman snatched up the other Chanel Resort 2014 white gown on the red carpet. Oh well as they say C'est la Vie. Emilia is nominated for Best Supporting Actress in a Drama for her role in the HBO series 'Game of Thrones.' This black and white gown, that I had also wanted to see worn by Diane Kruger, would look stunning on Emilia. Since the dawn of the new year Emilia has been experimenting wearing different designers since she had almost exclusively worn Chanel designs on the red carpet. Although I appreciate that she has started growing her wardrobe I would love to see Emilia go back home to Uncle Karl for her red carpet appearance for her big name events. To add the finishing touches for this amazing gowns I would add a pair of black Christian Louboutin crystal encrusted sandals, a black and silver Chanel minaudiere, a pair of Chanel Fine Jewelry rose earrings, and a Chanel Fine Jewelry cuff.

2013 CMT Music Awards Nominees Wish List

Carrie Underwood used to be one of my favorites on the red carpet but she hasn't given me a look to die over in a very long time. I blame some of this on her departure from wearing couture and embellished gowns. I say that if its a formula that works then why necessarily walk away from it. Here I have decided to put Carrie in this gold Abed Mahfouz Spring 2013 Couture butter yellow embellished striped gown. I think that this gown would look absolutely amazing on Carrie. Finish this look off with a gold minaudiere, gold sandals, and some canary diamonds would complete this absolutely stunning ensemble for the CMT Music Awards.

 For the 2013 ACM Awards Faith Hill choose a black lack shirt dress from Chado Ralph Rucci for her red carpet appearance. I was not thrilled at all with this choice as there were many other splendid looks from her go to red carpet designer than that hideous lace confection. From the same collection comes this purple halter neck Chado Ralph Rucci Fall 2013 RTW gown. I think that this gown would be perfect for Faith as it is classic, sexy, and elegant all rolled into one simple design. Complete this ensemble with flowing tresses, a gold Kotur clutch, and a pair of gold sandals.

Last but not least we have the Queen of Red Carpet Bling, Taylor Swift, paired with the King of Red Carpet Bling, Elie Saab. Well while this sugary peach Elie Saab Fall 2012 Couture gown might not be one of the signature heavily embellished gowns that Taylor may usually gravitate twoards but I think that this gown would look absolutely fabulous on Taylor. She should style her hair into a sleek pony tail with this gown. Add a pair of gold sandals to complete this absolutely amazing ensemble for the 2013 CMT Music Awards on June 5, 2013 at 8pm on CMT.

2013 CMT Music Awards Wish List for Host Kristen Bell

 After successfully hosting the 2012 CMT Music Awards alongside Toby Keith last year Kristen Bell will be back but with new co-host Jason Aldean this year. Kirsten has been working hard to get back into a banging post baby body after having her son at the end of April. To showcase this hot body that she is working so hard to get back I would love to see Kristen wear this beaded Jenny Packham Fall 2013 RTW gown. This was one of my favorite gowns to come out of the Jenny Packham Fall 2013 collection and I can not believe that someone hasn't snatched it up yet. If Kristen is the lucky one that is able to grab this gown then I would complete the ensemble with a pair of gold sandals and a red clutch and she will fit right in on the CMT Music Awards Red Carpet.

 For the show I suspect that Kirsten, like most awards show hostesses, will have several wardrobe changes throughout the night. The first gown that I would like to see Kirsten wear is his white and pink rose print Georges Hobeika Spring 2013 Couture ball gown. If this gown doesn't scream wear me for a country music awards event then I have no idea what does. I think that this amazing gown paired with a pair of pink pumps is the perfect opening number for the 2013 CMT Music Awards. After wowing in Hobeika I would have Kirsten change into this buttercup yellow Abed Mahfouz Spring 2013 Couture cocktail number. This is an awards show where the hostess can play with the lengths of her skirts and not wear all gowns for the duration of the telecast. Finish this look with a pair of gold sandals and Kristen would have her third winning look of the night. Up next is a stunning rich bold red Romona Kevesa Fall 2013 RTW strapless gown with a gold waist band. This is the most elegant and hollywood of the looks that I have picked for Kristen as I think that she needs to have one pure Hollywood moment. Complete this ensemble with a pair of gold Jimmy Choo 'Lance' sandals.

Following the red Romona Kevesa moment I have chosen this silver crystal encrusted Naeem Khan Fall 2013 RTW cocktail dress that is reminiscent of the 'Great Gatsby.' With the release of the movie the flapper style has been ripping through the red carpet scene more than ever and I think that we will see at least one look influenced by the era. Going to another iconic era this crystal encrusted Michael Kors Fall 2013 RTW mini dress with attached silk train is a major sixties inspired moment and I think it would look amazing on Kristen. Keep this look simple with a pair of black Christian Louboutin peep toe pumps and it might end up being one of my favorite looks of the night. And last but not least I would have Kristen close the show wearing this dove grey and gold Zuhair Murad Spring 2013 Couture gown. This is a glam gown with stunning baroque embroidery that would just be the perfect way to end the 2013 CMT Music Awards telecast.
