Runway Report: Pamella Roland Resort 2015

While I can never really grasp a true theme around any of Pamella Roland's collections, but she definitely knows how to deliver amazing red carpet worthy gowns. The Resort 2015 collection is just the same in its glamour. I almost see a dark artists garden with vivid pinks, greens, and blues as well as some pale pinks, nudes, and whites. I am sure we will see many of these gowns take to the red carpet on a bevy of celebrities. If someone is looking for sweet classic red carpet attire they need to look no further than the Pamella Roland Resort 2015 collection.

2014 Academy Awards: Presenter Kristen Bell Wish List

As the host of the Academy Scientific and Technical Awards on Saturday, Kirsten Bell will be on hand at the 2014 Academy Awards ceremony on Sunday March 2nd 2014 to talk about the awards that she and Michael B. Jordan will present on to the creative geniuses on Saturday night. Kristen is getting my first wish that comes from the Fall 2014 RTW collection via this dark and mysterious Monique Lhuillier Fall 2014 RTW strapless floral ballgown would be an amazing option for Kristen to wear for the biggest night in fashion. A pair of simple black Stuart Weitzman 'Nudsit' sandals, a Judith Leiber clutch to match the pink in the dress, and some simple diamond accessories will complete this amazing look for Kristen for the Academy Awards.

2014 Academy Scientific and Technical Awards Hosts Wish List

On Saturday evening in LA the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences will present the Scientific and Technical Awards to their honorees with an event hosted by Kristen Bell and Michael B. Jordan. I have always been a fan of Kristen Bell as I think that she is cute and fun and girly but knows how to do edgy really well. I think that this gold lace Marchesa Pre-Fall 2014 gown that is overlaied with black chiffon would be the perfect choice for the actress. I think that this gown is dark and mysterious which really makes for a glamorous statement for Kristen who went full out edgy glam in black Pamela Rolland at the Critics Choice Movie Awards last month. A pair of gold and black Jimmy Choo sandals and a pair of gold drop earrings will finish off this stunning look for Kristen for the SciTech Awards Saturday night.

2013 CMT Music Awards Wish List for Host Kristen Bell

 After successfully hosting the 2012 CMT Music Awards alongside Toby Keith last year Kristen Bell will be back but with new co-host Jason Aldean this year. Kirsten has been working hard to get back into a banging post baby body after having her son at the end of April. To showcase this hot body that she is working so hard to get back I would love to see Kristen wear this beaded Jenny Packham Fall 2013 RTW gown. This was one of my favorite gowns to come out of the Jenny Packham Fall 2013 collection and I can not believe that someone hasn't snatched it up yet. If Kristen is the lucky one that is able to grab this gown then I would complete the ensemble with a pair of gold sandals and a red clutch and she will fit right in on the CMT Music Awards Red Carpet.

 For the show I suspect that Kirsten, like most awards show hostesses, will have several wardrobe changes throughout the night. The first gown that I would like to see Kirsten wear is his white and pink rose print Georges Hobeika Spring 2013 Couture ball gown. If this gown doesn't scream wear me for a country music awards event then I have no idea what does. I think that this amazing gown paired with a pair of pink pumps is the perfect opening number for the 2013 CMT Music Awards. After wowing in Hobeika I would have Kirsten change into this buttercup yellow Abed Mahfouz Spring 2013 Couture cocktail number. This is an awards show where the hostess can play with the lengths of her skirts and not wear all gowns for the duration of the telecast. Finish this look with a pair of gold sandals and Kristen would have her third winning look of the night. Up next is a stunning rich bold red Romona Kevesa Fall 2013 RTW strapless gown with a gold waist band. This is the most elegant and hollywood of the looks that I have picked for Kristen as I think that she needs to have one pure Hollywood moment. Complete this ensemble with a pair of gold Jimmy Choo 'Lance' sandals.

Following the red Romona Kevesa moment I have chosen this silver crystal encrusted Naeem Khan Fall 2013 RTW cocktail dress that is reminiscent of the 'Great Gatsby.' With the release of the movie the flapper style has been ripping through the red carpet scene more than ever and I think that we will see at least one look influenced by the era. Going to another iconic era this crystal encrusted Michael Kors Fall 2013 RTW mini dress with attached silk train is a major sixties inspired moment and I think it would look amazing on Kristen. Keep this look simple with a pair of black Christian Louboutin peep toe pumps and it might end up being one of my favorite looks of the night. And last but not least I would have Kristen close the show wearing this dove grey and gold Zuhair Murad Spring 2013 Couture gown. This is a glam gown with stunning baroque embroidery that would just be the perfect way to end the 2013 CMT Music Awards telecast. 2012 Gotham Independent Film Awards Wish List Part Two

Jennifer Lawrence is the new face of Dior and aside from the first look that she wore from the Resort 2013 collection all her Dior looks have failed on the red carpet. Seeing that this is going to be the first awards show of the 2013 Awards Season that I believe that she will wear a Christian Dior look for this event. Jennifer is part of the cast of 'The Silver Linings Playbook' which is nominated for Best Ensemble Cast. I think that this amazing black embellished strapless pencil dress from the Christian Dior Spring 2013 RTW collection. Pair this dress with a pair of black strappy sandals and a bright blue clutch, simple sleep hair and neutral make up will hopefully make Jennifer redeem herself on the red carpet because at this point she has gone from Fashionista to Fashole over the year.

Kristen Bell is also part of a cast that is nominated for Best Ensemble Cast from 'Safety Not Guaranteed.' Kristen is always a delight to see on the red carpet because she always brings elegant glamorous style when she steps out on the red carpet. I think that aqua green Alberta Ferretti Spring 2013 RTW dress would be quite the elegant choice for her to pick for this event. Pair it with some pretty diamond drop earrings, a silver Leiber clutch, and some strappy silver Jimmy Choo sandals and she will set to stun.

Tilda Swinton is one of my favorites on the red carpet because she is not afraid to take risks when she steps out on the red carpet. She has amazing friendships with avant garde designers such as Lanvin, Alexander McQueen, and Hadier Ackerman. For the 2012 Gotham Independent Film Awards Tilda's film 'Moonrise Kingdom,' which opened the 2012 Cannes Film Festival in May, is nominated for Best Ensemble Cast as well as Best Feature Film. For this event I would love to see the androgynous beauty wear this menswear inspired tuxedo from the Lanvin Spring 2013 RTW collection. I of course would recommend that she wear a tuxedo shirt with this look. Finish it off with black pointy toe pumps and a bold red lip and the look is complete

2012 Toronto Film Festival: Premiere Wish List Part Six

'Twice Born' is the film that Penelope Cruz will be promoting at this year's Toronto Film Festival. Penelope has a great relationship with Giorgio Armani having worn gowns by the designer many times on the red carpet most recently in a custom Grace Kelly inspired gown at this year's academy awards. For her premiere I would love to see her wear this lavender Armani Prive Fall 2012 Couture pencil cocktail dress. I would have this made into a simple strapless cocktail dress with the half moon neckline. Add a silver Marchesa crystal beaded clutch and some silver peep toe pumps as well as some amazing earrings by Chopard to complete the ensemble.

Jennifer Connelly is a huge fan of Balenciaga and I am hoping to see her wear the brand for the 2012 Toronto Film Festival premiere of her film 'Writers.' I think that this white column gown with heart cut outs on the bodice would be an amazing choice for the actress. She has not worn the brand since she reappeared after her hiatus from having a baby. I think that this gown is modern and elegant but simple enough for a premiere at the Toronto Film Festival. Complete this look with a white and gold Jimmy Choo tube clutch, gold Jimmy Choo sandals, and maybe a gold clutch.

Kristen Bell is one that I am sure will come out for the 2012 Toronto Film Festival because it is not often that the actress will have the chance to attend one of these coveted red carpets. I think that for the premiere of her film 'Writers' that this hot pink one shouldered Monique Lhuillier Resort 2013 gown would be absolutely perfect. Kristen is not one of those stars that is not afraid of bold color on the red carpet so I think that this is a great option for the star. Add a pair of silver Jimmy Choo 'Lance' Sandals and then a hot pink clutch and some amazing earrings would complete this look for Kristen to make best dressed.

Lily Collins has not wowed me this year, yes she has has some pretty looks, but I am expecting more from the 23 year old actress. I am hoping that she does wow me at the Toronto Film Festival premiere of 'Writers' and I think that this yellow brocade Valentino Fall 2012 Couture (not RTW) long sleeved gown. I think that this would look amazing on Lily in a 60's inspired type of look with the much coveted Givenchy spring 2012 nude sandals and then a yellow clutch as well as some sleek modern locks. This completes all the Toronto Film Festival predictions.
