#Cannes2015: L'Oreal Ladies Doutzen Kroes, Eva Longoria & Fan Bingbing Wish List

Doutzen Kroes always works the Cannes Film Festival red carpet, sans last year when she was pregnant, and I am excited to see what she will wear this year. I remember a few years ago Doutzen attended a premiere wearing one of the big ball gowns from the very first Giambattista Valli Haute Couture collection and I fell immediately in love. I have yet to be as wowed as I was in that moment, but I am hoping that this year will be Doutzens year. I am picking this white and yellow ombre Giambattista Valli Fall 2014 Couture shirt and ruffled ball skirt. There are only a few women that I would truly love to see wearing this creation and Doutzen is defiantly one of them. Since I picked such a statement making dress for the first look for Doutzen that I picked this stunning silver crystal beaded Atelier Versace Spring 2015 Couture gown. I would have the gown completely lined which I think would only enhance the glamour. Each look that I have picked gives off a different type of glamor. The Giambattista Valli gown gives off a regal vibe while the Atelier Versace gowns showcases old Hollywood glamour like no other.

If there is one woman who knows how to work a Cannes Film Festival red carpet it is Eva Longoria who has been working the festival for L'Oreal for years now. I have to say that Eva rarely gets it right outside of Cannes but when she steps out on the hallowed red carpet she always brings the top notch level of red carpet perfection. The moment that this electric blue strapless column gown with a dramatic train from the Georges Hobeika Fall 2014 Couture collection walk the runway I put it on reserve for Eva for Cannes. This gown needs a dramatic stage and what more dramatic of a stage that that at the Palais de Festivals. The other look that I would love to see Eva rock on the Cannes Film Festival red carpet is this ruby red Zuhair Murad Fall 2014 Couture gathered old Hollywood style gown. This gown would evoke Eva's inner Latina Grace Kelly for the worlds most glamorous red carpet. I honestly can't wait to see what Eva will wear on the Cannes red carpet.

Last year was the first year since 2010 that Fan Bingbing missed the Cannes Film Festival, and I was very saddened. I am hoping that the Chinese actress will be back on the Cannes Film Festival circuit this year. Recently though Fan has not been making me lust after her red carpet looks, though many have not been gowns and all of her looks have been paired with quadruple stacked platform shoes which look more like hooves that shoes. I picked this amazing grey feathered Elie Saab Spring 2015 Couture tulle ball gown for Fan for the Cannes Film Festival because who better fan her, maybe save for Rita Ora, to make this gown come to life of the red carpet and truly be able to pull it off. The Chinese beauty is known for her love the avant garde and all things glamorous and this Elie Saab gown really pulls the two together in one stunning look. The other look I picked for Mrs Bingbing s this stunning royal blue Ralph & Russo Fall 2014 Couture satin ballgown. I picked this gown because it is a classically elegant ensemble which might be needed to counteract those who wont love the avant garde Elie Saab ensemble.

The Cannes Film Festival is just 16 days away and I am so looking forward to seeing what all of the stars wear. Is there someone that you are most looking forward to seeing? 2013 Met Ball: Model Wish List Part 1

Of the current crop of supermodels Coco Rocha is one of my favorites mostly because she looks like a modern woman with a pin-up twist. Coco is a muse for New York based designer Zac Posen and the two almost always make magic together when she steps out on a red carpet. After a kind of disappointing look last year wearing a Givenchy jumpsuit previously owned by Elizabeth Taylor with hot pink extensions, I am hoping to see her go back to the Posen looks. This black mermaid gown from the Zac Posen Pre-Fall 2013 gown is an extremely bold statement which is perfect for this event. Finish this look with Christian Louboutin 'Lady Max' black sandals and a silver Kotur mirror clutch along with a bold teased faux mohawk and a bold red lip and Coco will stun yet again on the red carpet at the Met Ball.

Doutzen Kroes has been a red carpet powerhouse in the past few years wearing several stunning ensembles. For this years Met Ball I would love to see her wear this green leaf print Giambattista Valli Fall 2012 Couture gown. I think that this gown would be perfect for the 28 year Dutch model for this event. The Met Ball kick starts the month of May for Doutzen who after this event will travel to the French Riviera for the Cannes Film Festival. This gown is a bold statement that will fit in perfectly at the 'Punk: Chaos to Couture' themed gala. Finish with a black minaudiere and some black Christian Louboutin sandals as well as a diamond cuff and an old Hollywood hairstyle to complete this amazing ensemble.

Gisele Bundchen always attends the Met Gala but has not really wowed me since the 2008 'Superheros: Fashion and Fantasy' gala where she wore a stunning blush pink Versace gown.Well for this years gala I am hoping that Gisele returns to that partnership and wears this stunning lavender Atelier Versace Fall 2012 Couture gown. This is a stuning gown and I am surpirsed that it hasn't been snatched up for a red carpet yet, like most of the rest of this collection. This gown paired with a gold minaudiere, gold strappy sandals and Gisele's sleek tresses and she will find herself back on top of the best dressed lists.

Iman has been absent from the red carpet for a while and that is a sad thing because no one brings diva glam to the red carpet like Iman. I am hoping to see the classic supermodel make her red carpet return at the Met Ball this year. For her return I would love to see her wear this burnt orange halter Zac Posen Fall 2013 RTW gown with a peplum waist. This gown moved so well on the runway and the model was able to maneuver the stairs with ease, which is important as the Met red carpet starts at the street level and travels up the stairs of the Museum. Finish the look with a Lanvin tone on tone brown 'Sea Breeze' minaudiere, a pair of bronze peep toe pumps, a full hairstyle and a fresh face would complete this ensemble.

2013 Cannes Film Festival: L'Oreal Spokesmodel's Wish List Part 3

Last year Diane Kruger reigned supreme as Red Carpet Diva of the Year which would have been hard had she not been on the Jury of the Cannes Film Festival. I am hoping to see Diane at several red carpet premieres over the two week course of the festival. Here are a few looks that I would die to see Diane wear. The first wish I have for Diane is this amazing multi-shade of green and black geometric Armani Prive Spring 2013 Couture gown. This gown is stunning and because it is such a bold statement that many will be afraid to wear but Diane is one of the few that would make this gown look effortless. This next look has been something that I have been dying to see on the red carpet since it was presented during the Christian Dior Fall 2012Couture show. I think again that Diane is one of the few women in Hollywood that can make this gown sing a glamorous song on the red carpet. Finally we have this stunning snow leopard print Giambattista Valli Spring 2013 Couture gown. Out of all of these looks this is what I would most like to see Diane wear on the red carpet during the course of this festival.

Last year during the Cannes Film Festival Doutzen Kroes wowed in some simple but impactful looks from Elie Saab and Versace ready to wear. I think these simple looks work much better for the L'Oreal spokesmodel. For this year I would love to see her wear three simple silhouette looks. First up we have a stunning strapless blush pink Armani Prive Fall 2012 Couture gown. I think that Doutzen would glow in this gown with her tan skin and blonde hair. I am afraid that this gown will head to the Armani archives forever if she doesn't snatch it up for this festival. Next is a midnight blue Elie Saab Fall 2013 RTW gown. I think that this may look a little to similar to the Elie Saab gown she wore last year but she would look the same no matter what. Last we have a stunning purple Versace Fall 2013 RTW halter neck dress with a keyhole cutout. Take the neck piece off and Doutzen will sizzle with sex appeal as she glides down the red carpet at the Palais de Festivals.

Eva Longoria is a Cannes Film Festival red carpet regular, doing her duties looking absolutely stunning wearing some of the the most fabulous designs ever. Here are three looks that I would like to see her don over the course of her time at the festival. First we have a stunning gold strapless Elie Saab Spring 2013 Couture gown. This is the classic Cannes glamour dress, a perfect mix of the French Riviera and Hollywood. Next we have the bold statement dress. Each year Eva wears one gown that is a big bold statement, last year it was a stunning Marchesa and in 2010 (she did not appear in 2011) a fabulous Emilio Pucci. For this years bold statement I would love to see her wear this white Giambattista Valli Spring 2013 Couture gown with gold embroidery and embellishment around the waist. Eva may not be the tallest but you wouldn't know when she wears some amazing large gowns and always looks stunning. Finally we have a simple blue and silver Naeem Khan Fall 2013 RTW art deco inspired gown. I think that Eva would look stunning in this gown with a faux bob and will look effortless yet sophisticated just like her surroundings.
