2013 Golden Globe Awards: Everyone Else Wish List Part 1

Jennifer Garner is the wife of Best Director Nominee Ben Affleck and has been on his arm throughout the promo tour of the film that he is nominated for, Argo. Jennifer is going to be one of the presenters at the award show, because of her ties to Ben it really doesn't surprise me. I had fallen out of love with Jennifer on the red carpet as she always seemed to not wow me but as of lately while premiering 'Argo' she has been wowing me constantly. For the 2013 Golden Globe awards I would like to see her wear this glamorous black and white Oscar de la Renta Resort 2013 gown. I have been surprised that this gown has not been worn and I think that Jennifer would look amazing wearing this gown. Pair this gown with a black and white Edie Parker clutch, a pair of black and silver Christian Louboutin peep toe pumps, as well as some amazing diamond earrings and bracelets and she will look amazing playing the role of arm candy.
Jessica Alba was one of the lovely ladies who helped announce the nominees for this year's Golden Globe Awards. Because of this I believe that she will be on hand to present one of the awards this year. Back in September Jessica attended the Ralph Lauren Spring 2013 RTW fashion show during New York Fashion Week with her stylist Brad Goreski. She has yet to wear a look from the collection and as soon as I saw this stunning red beaded gown I have been calling it for the striking star. Finish this look with a red clutch, gold strappy sandals and she is going to stun the world.
The recipient of this year's Cecil B. Demile Award is Jodie Foster and she has become very predictable on the red carpet. At least year's Golden Globe Awards Jodie wore the Giorgio Armani gown that I had actually wished for her to wear for the event. As this year she is more than a presenter and is actually an honored guest I am asking Jodie to wear couture. I think that this midnight blue Armani Prive Fall 2012 Couture gown is perfect for Jodie. It is a simple velvet gown and can be dressed up. Pair this look with a silver Judith Leiber clutch, embellished black peep toe pumps, and some really dazzling diamonds and Jodie will no doubt look stunning on the red carpet.
Kristen Stewart has been one of those actresses that has started to grow on the red carpet. In the end of 2012 Kristen wore a lot of looks that were sheer enough to bare her legs and a few times pulled off these risque looks but most of the time she failed. I think that this paint splatter print J. Mendel Pre-Fall 2013 gown is totally the perfect mix of glamour, from the style of the gown, and grunge, from the print, to make up a perfect gown for Kirsten. I think that she would look amazing. Kirsten was on hand to announce that Jodie Foster is going to be the winner of the Cecil B. Demile Award because she work with Jodie when she was just a young girl. Pair this gown with very simple accessories including a black clutch, a pair of black peep toe pumps,
Megan Fox was also on hand in December to announce the Golden Globe nominations with Jessica Alba. The star still exudes sex appeal but she has toned down the overtly sexy looks on the red carpet. This is why I have chosen to put Megan in this navy blue Monique Lhuillier Pre-Fall 2013 gown. I think that this gown would look amazing on Megan. Pair it with a silver clutch from Edie Parker, a pair of black peep toe pumps, a pair of dazzling drop earrings, and a cuff bracelet and she is set to wow on the red carpet.
Stacy Keibler is the arm candy of George Clooney who is indirectly nominated as he is one of the producers of Ben Affleck's film 'Argo.' It is because of this that I am expecting to see Stacy walk the red carpet. I have seen Stacy grow from wearing gowns that she had to buy off the rack to wearing gowns as they come off the runway. I would love to see Stacy wear this fuchsia pink Marchesa Spring 2013 RTW gown. This was not one of the gowns that was presented on the runway in September but part of the collection that was pre-sold from ModaOperandi.com. I think that this is a perfect look for Stacy as she has really started to capture my attention since her hot of the runway Marchesa gown at last years Oscars. Gold accessories including a gold clutch and gold peep toe pumps as well as George Clooney finish this possible award winning look.
For Taylor Swift, who is part of the team nominated for Best Song for her song 'Safe and Sound' from the hit film 'The Hunger Games,' I have decided to dig into the Elie Saab archives to one of my favorite collections and one of my favorite dresses. Taylor has been known to dig into Elie's couture archives for her red carpet appearances. I think that this white Elie Saab Spring 2008 Couture gown is stunning for Taylor. She has been taking a sophisticated route to dressing lately and I think that she would look amazing in this. Pair this stunning gown with a silver Edie Parker clutch, silver Christan Louboutin sandals, and some amazing Chopard diamonds to complete this amazing look for her. I may just die if she were to wear this gown.

Best Dressed of the Week Ending 2/10/2012

This look makes me jump out of my seat. Not only is Mena wearing a bold dress (the print and cut) but she is actually adding color to the look!!!! These red pumps are absolutely phenomenal and adds just the right amount of sass and playfulness to this bold look. The slightly longer train gives the look some uniqueness, and I absolutely love it. It's also pretty obvious that Mena has the right sass and confidence to pull off this look, and I think that truly sells the outfit. I have no complaints nor wishes for this look!
Dynamite Dita! This lady has always been one fashions most iconic stars, and this dress is a prime example of why shes is. First off, the color on her is absolutely drop dead stunning; I am even ignoring the fact that she's been wearing it quite a bit, cause it is so perfect on her. Next, the gorgeous rouching not only hugs her body perfectly, but it also is on an alternating angle that makes my eye dance and keeps the outfit interesting. I also adore the slightly asymmetrical scoop neckline; again, it's interesting and flatters her quite well. My only suggestion would be to add a gold accessory such as some dangly earrings or a clutch.

Now, Megan is a 'Fox'-y lady even without the divine designs of Elie Saab, but this dress puts her over the top! The cut and shape of this dress gives Megan the hourglass figure that almost every woman would kill for. The crystals on the dress add a simple elegance, yet slightly bold bling at the same time. The high waist band is also a nice touch in elongating her figure, making her look taller.

First off, I want to commend Elle for stepping out of the typical red carpet box and actually wearing pants (without holes or poor bleaching effects on them). Although this is a simple look, simplicity can go a far way, and this look is a prime example. The color shows off Elle's gorgeous skin and hair, and the shape of the jacket hugs her small waist in all the right places. Not to mention how the v-neck blouse and her wide pants work together to elongate her even more. I'll admit, I do wish that she would add a spark of color, possibly bold earrings or a necklace.

When I saw Stacy in this ASOS dress, I think my heart skipped a beat. I want to talk about this interesting top, first. The patch of skin that she has showing is a pretty unusual place to show, but that what really makes this outfit unique and sexy, but not distasteful. This dress fully defines sexy- elegant, which I personally love! The formfitting skirt shows off her curves and extends past her knee at just the right length to make it more on the elegant side. Would've loved to see a metallic in the accessories, but hey, we can't have it all. Other than that, no complaints!
Now, we all know Whitney is gorgeous, but this Julien MacDonald dress looks stellar on her. Even though the color of the dress is so similar to her hair, the dress somehow makes her hair color pop. I also love the unique off the shoulder draping and the uneven hemline, along with the flowy-ness of the dress. Although, Whitney should really trade in her black clutch for a metallic one. But overall, this is a stunning outfit!
I have always been a huge fan of Jessica and this sexy, but still elegant, ensemble reaffirms why I adore her so much! Although most of you will probably think, "This is a boring color palette", for her I think it's perfect. Her skin color is absolutely gorgeous and why not show it off? The asymmetrical blouse elongates her, making her even taller. And the skirt! The skirt hugs her in all the right places without being too tight, and the embellishment on it elongates her legs as well. My only complaint would be the shoes; I think she should add a spark of color to really make this outfit dynamite. I would suggest a pair of red evening sandals by Michael Kors.
Well, it shouldn't be a surprise that J-Lo ended up on this list. This pale pink/ nude dress is such a sweet sexy that really shows off her already fabulous body. This plunging neckline shows just enough cleavage without it being an eyeful. This dress hugs her shape perfectly, and I love that she added some color to the outfit with her shoes!

Since I am constantly harassed for snubbing my nose at more modern pieces, versus elegant and classic looks, I have decided to nominate one of my new favorite icons. Princess Kate looks embodies the bridging of modern and classic styles perfectly. She took a typical look, a jacket and pencil skirt and totally morphed it into edgy and fashion forward without giving the Queen a heart attack. The color is not the normal color that you would associate a jacket and skirt ensemble, which is great, but I also love that she added a belt here! I love the quirky hat as well, it adds a elegant British touch. Last, but not least, Kate, the shoes are phenomenal!
Funny how the little girl from Win- Dixie can transform into a stunning woman so quickly. First off, the form-fitting shape suits Dakota perfectly, showing off her every curve in a flattering manner. Also, the off the shoulder shrug was a nice touch and adds some edge to the look. But I can not talk about how perfect the color combo is. Most people don't understand how red and blue go together, but these contrasting colors balance each other out and adds some edge to the look; it also adds some color to her pale skin. Only complaint is that instead of a nude colored shoe, she should add a bronze strappy heel.

Runway Reviews: Cushnie et Ochs Spring 2012 RTW

Cushnie et Ochs has started to gain a nice celebrity following with fans in  Zoe Saldana, Rihanna, Ciara, Eva Longoria, Anna Paquin, Teresa Palmer, Jessica Alba, and Olivia Wilde. This collection was so sexy as with all of their collections and I loved the color pallatee of white, black, bubble cum pink, beige, and of course the seasons hottest color yellow. Style.com reports that Barbie and Betty Draper are both on the mood board and how they translated is quite modern and I really love this collection. Bellow are three wishes for celebrities to wear on the red carpet:
