2015 Tribeca Film Festival: "Franny" Premiere Wish List

On Friday night Dakota Fanning's newest film "Franny," which co-stars Richard Gere & Theo James, will premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival. I love Tribeca because the stars just show up "laid back." Well I kinda want to see Dakota look a little more than laid back on the Tribeca red carpet wearing something other than nude or black. I would love to see Dakota wear this Mardi Gras colored Rodarte Fall 2015 RTW striped sequin sleeveless knee length dress. Dakota always looks fantastic in the Mulleavy sisters creations and I think that this would no doubt be one of her best looks in recent appearances. This look is all about the color. I would even see this look with nice combed hair down, a black clutch and a pair of black Stuart Weitzman 'Nudist' sandals to ensure that Dakota rocks the red carpet at the Tribeca Film Festival.

2014 Tribeca Film Festival: 'Every Secret Thing' Premiere Wish List

At the end of last year Dakota Fanning wowed as she made the rounds around the world promoting her film 'Night Moves.' Dakota tends to favor looks that are devoid of any color, nude and white, way to often, but during that tour Dakota wore silver, red, and bold blue. I am  hoping that Dakota will keep up her amazing red carpet run with this dusty rose to black ombre long sleeved tunic and dusty rose mini skirt. I love this ensemble and I am hoping that Dakota gets her hand on it for the 'Every Secret Thing' premiere during the 2014 Tribeca Film Festival. A pair of black peep toe pumps and a black clutch will finish off this perfect look for Dakota.

2013 London Film Festival: 'Night Moves' Premiere Wish List

Whilst promoting 'Nights Moves' around the world we have seen a whole new side of Dakota Fanning. Not once have we seen a cookie cutter look that she is known for, only two beige looks (and even those were not for the premieres). I have to say the rich blues, silvers, and reds that Dakota has brought to the red carpets have been a refreshing change of pace, she has even been experimenting with different hairstyles. I am hoping that this pace continues when she takes to the red carpet at the 2013 London Film Festival. This light grey blue Jason Wu Spring 2014 RTW mermaid gown would be something that I would love to see the 19 year old actress wear. The silhouette would show off Dakota's figure whilst being sporty and sexy and dramatic all at the same time. Finish the look with a silver Judith Leiber clutch, a pair of silver sandals, a sleek hairstyle, a pair of dazzling chandelier earrings and this dazzling look will be complete for Dakota for this red carpet.

2013 Venice Film Festival: 'Night Moves' Photocall & Premiere Wish List

I just could not figure out or settle on what Dakota Fanning will wear for the photocall of her film 'Night Moves' which she will be debuting at the 2013 Venice Film Festival alongside co-star Jessie Eisenberg. For the photocall I can only imagine that she will wear Louis Vuitton, Nina Ricci, or Valentino but since I couldn't pick a look I am just going to focus on the gala premiere from here on out. To step out on the red carpet in Venice I think that this platinum Elie Saab Fall 2013 Couture strapless completely embellished gown is absolutely perfect for the star. Dakota is one that when she steps out on the red carpet she either makes me fall in love or I completely loathe what she is wearing. I think that this gown is absolutely perfect for Dakota and I would fall in love with her in this gown. Just a pair of platinum Salvatore Ferragamo pumps, her hair in a chic up-do, and a pretty pink lip and Dakota will definitely have my heart on this red carpet.

And here we have yet another wish for 2013 Venice Film Festival Jury member Virginie Ledoyen. I have to admit I do not know much about her red carpet styling except what I have seen at Paris Fashion Weeks and the Cannes Film Festival the past 2 years, which amounts to Elie Saab, Dior, and Chanel. Well I am also wishing that she continues to expand her red carpet repoitare during this festival. Maxime Simoens is a growing red carpet brand having dressed the likes of Lily Collins, Lea Seydoux, and Emma Watson just in the past few months. Virginie would be absolutely the perfect definition of a Venice jury member wearing this strapless Maxime Simoens Resort 2014 black embellished bodice gown. It's a simple gown that would make a huge impact on the red carpet. I would pair this look with a black satin frame clutch, a pair of black Salvatore Ferragamo peep toe satin pumps, and some amazing diamond dazzlers in the ear and the wrist and this look is complete.

2012 End of the Year Style Awards: Best Ensemble Cast

If it has been one cast this year that has really brought it on the red carpet when it came to promoting their film, it was definitely the cast of 'The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 2.' The stars must have been in cohorts with each other because none of them really had a misstep on the red carpet at any of the premieres. And of course we have to give credit where credit is due and congratulate Kristen Stewart for finding her red carpet legs and looking fantastic alongside (from left to right) Judi Shekoni (in Chagoury Couture), Julia Jones (in KaufmanFranco), Elizabeth Reaser (in Carolina Herrera), Ashley Greene (in Donna Karan Atelier), Kristen Stewart (in Zuhair Murad), Nikki Reed (in Versace), Dakota Fanning (in Elie Saab), Myanna Burning (in Vivienne Westwood), and Maggie Grace (in Bibhu Mohapatra.) Congrats to the cast on their outstanding efforts they have definitely paid off

White House Correspondent's Dinner Wish List

 The White House Correspondent's Dinner is the one night where Washington puts on the west coast glitz. Michelle Obama will of course be on hand as she is the First Lady! LOL! I would love to see Miss Obama wear this stunning Oscar de la Renta Spring 2013 Bridal gown. I would die if she wore this but I do not think it will come true just because Oscar and Michelle do not have the greatest relationship. She has never worn one of his designs in her husbands entire four years of presidency, even though is is arguably one of the most brilliant names in American fashion. Another reason that she would most likely not ever don an ensemble by the designer is the fact that he called her out last year when she wore a red Alexander McQueen gown for a state dinner. I think that if the two could put aside her differences and collaborate that the result would be beautiful. Blue and silver statement jewels (which Michelle does so well) and a stunning pair of blue pumps are what is needed to create an amazing collaboration.

 Claire Danes is one of the confirmed guests of CBS as she is a star of their show 'Homeland.' I think that she would look absolutely stunning in this deep red J. Mendel Pre-Fall 2012 gown. It is such a simple gown, which is what I always love when Claire wears. She wore a gown that was custom created for her inspired by a more office attire style dress from this collection for the 2012 Golden Globe Awards, and earned herself a spot on the best dressed with it. I think that this color would look absolutely stunning on Claire with her fair skin and blonde hair. A matching clutch and strappy sandals would put her and this collection on the best dressed list again.

 Dakota Fanning has also been confirmed as a guest for the dinner. I have to say that Dakota has so much potential and most of the time she always falls flat. I have decided to put her in this stunning simple pale green Valentino Spring 2012 RTW gown. Now as you can see in the reference picture even a simple dress can be ruined by the wrong accessories and styling. I would pair this look with a metallic gold mirror clutch, gold strappy sandals, and a gold bracelet. To finish off this look she would need to pull her hair back into a tight pony tail and finish it off with simple make-up

 Elizabeth Banks is an unofficial brand ambassador for Versace so I will be very surprised if the stunning actress doesn't don a gown by Versace for this event. I have chosen to put her in this archive white Atelier Versace Spring 2010 Couture gown. I think that Elizabeth would look absolutely stunning in this, as I love her in white. I would pair this with a smokey grey crystal clutch and gunmetal strappy sandals.

 Jessica Alba loves herself some Ralph Lauren and this is rightfully so. She usually looks absolutely stunning in his designs. I would die a happy man if I get to see her in this minimal pink silk Ralph Lauren Spring 2012 RTW strapless gown. I think that this simple dress is right up Jessica's style. I think that she would wear her hair up almost like it is in the image on the left, add a silver crystal encrusted clutch, silver crystal encrusted sandals, and a stunning diamond necklace that would most likely drop down to the belly button.

And last but not least we have the Colombian sex goddess Sofia Vergara. Sofia wears Vera Wang for lots of major events, most recently the Golden Globes (she too also received a best dressed award). I would kill to see her don this amazing crimson Vera Wang Spring 2013 Bridal gown. This gown may actually be a bit much for this event but either way I still think that she would look absolutely stunning in it, weather she wears it now for for maybe the Emmy's. No clutch, red peep toes, and maybe some stunning earrings and a cuff would be all that are needed for this to be an absolutely stunning look, even though she would look stunning naked.

MET Ball Wish List: The Fanning Sisters

The Fanning sisters will most likely be at the MET Ball. Dakota will most likely be in attendance as she has three movies coming out this year, including one of the most anticipated films Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 2. She has worn some Elie Saab in the past for the promotional tours of The Runaways and The Twilight Saga: Eclipse. I think that this stunning embellished Elie Saab Fall 2012 gown with a built in cape would look absolutely stunning on Dakota with her pale skin. There is a chance that this gown won't ever be worn because folk singer Florence Welch wore this in her 'Shake It Out' music video. Even though I am still hoping for a huge red carpet moment with this gown. Dakota should pull her hair into a low loose large bun, simple makeup, no clutch or jewelry, and a pair of champagne colored satin peep toe pumps.

Elle Fanning may not have a movie coming out this year but she is a huge staple in the New York fashion scene having been the face of both Marc by Marc Jacobs and Rodarte. She has worn so many Rodarte looks on the red carpet and I would love to see her wear this stunning burnt orange and white patterned ruffled Rodarte Fall 2012 RTW gown. I think that this is something that Elle would just go into the Rodarte studio and pull off the rack and wear to just about any event and I would love to see her in this. A bronze Judith Leiber clutch and a pair of bronze strappy sandals with her hair pulled back. Last year the sisters both attended the MET Ball and both wore Valentino Elle in Fall 2010 Couture and Dakota in Resort 2011.

Best Dressed of the Week Ending 2/10/2012

This look makes me jump out of my seat. Not only is Mena wearing a bold dress (the print and cut) but she is actually adding color to the look!!!! These red pumps are absolutely phenomenal and adds just the right amount of sass and playfulness to this bold look. The slightly longer train gives the look some uniqueness, and I absolutely love it. It's also pretty obvious that Mena has the right sass and confidence to pull off this look, and I think that truly sells the outfit. I have no complaints nor wishes for this look!

Dynamite Dita! This lady has always been one fashions most iconic stars, and this dress is a prime example of why shes is. First off, the color on her is absolutely drop dead stunning; I am even ignoring the fact that she's been wearing it quite a bit, cause it is so perfect on her. Next, the gorgeous rouching not only hugs her body perfectly, but it also is on an alternating angle that makes my eye dance and keeps the outfit interesting. I also adore the slightly asymmetrical scoop neckline; again, it's interesting and flatters her quite well. My only suggestion would be to add a gold accessory such as some dangly earrings or a clutch.

Now, Megan is a 'Fox'-y lady even without the divine designs of Elie Saab, but this dress puts her over the top! The cut and shape of this dress gives Megan the hourglass figure that almost every woman would kill for. The crystals on the dress add a simple elegance, yet slightly bold bling at the same time. The high waist band is also a nice touch in elongating her figure, making her look taller.

First off, I want to commend Elle for stepping out of the typical red carpet box and actually wearing pants (without holes or poor bleaching effects on them). Although this is a simple look, simplicity can go a far way, and this look is a prime example. The color shows off Elle's gorgeous skin and hair, and the shape of the jacket hugs her small waist in all the right places. Not to mention how the v-neck blouse and her wide pants work together to elongate her even more. I'll admit, I do wish that she would add a spark of color, possibly bold earrings or a necklace.

When I saw Stacy in this ASOS dress, I think my heart skipped a beat. I want to talk about this interesting top, first. The patch of skin that she has showing is a pretty unusual place to show, but that what really makes this outfit unique and sexy, but not distasteful. This dress fully defines sexy- elegant, which I personally love! The formfitting skirt shows off her curves and extends past her knee at just the right length to make it more on the elegant side. Would've loved to see a metallic in the accessories, but hey, we can't have it all. Other than that, no complaints!

Now, we all know Whitney is gorgeous, but this Julien MacDonald dress looks stellar on her. Even though the color of the dress is so similar to her hair, the dress somehow makes her hair color pop. I also love the unique off the shoulder draping and the uneven hemline, along with the flowy-ness of the dress. Although, Whitney should really trade in her black clutch for a metallic one. But overall, this is a stunning outfit!

I have always been a huge fan of Jessica and this sexy, but still elegant, ensemble reaffirms why I adore her so much! Although most of you will probably think, "This is a boring color palette", for her I think it's perfect. Her skin color is absolutely gorgeous and why not show it off? The asymmetrical blouse elongates her, making her even taller. And the skirt! The skirt hugs her in all the right places without being too tight, and the embellishment on it elongates her legs as well. My only complaint would be the shoes; I think she should add a spark of color to really make this outfit dynamite. I would suggest a pair of red evening sandals by Michael Kors.

Well, it shouldn't be a surprise that J-Lo ended up on this list. This pale pink/ nude dress is such a sweet sexy that really shows off her already fabulous body. This plunging neckline shows just enough cleavage without it being an eyeful. This dress hugs her shape perfectly, and I love that she added some color to the outfit with her shoes!

Since I am constantly harassed for snubbing my nose at more modern pieces, versus elegant and classic looks, I have decided to nominate one of my new favorite icons. Princess Kate looks embodies the bridging of modern and classic styles perfectly. She took a typical look, a jacket and pencil skirt and totally morphed it into edgy and fashion forward without giving the Queen a heart attack. The color is not the normal color that you would associate a jacket and skirt ensemble, which is great, but I also love that she added a belt here! I love the quirky hat as well, it adds a elegant British touch. Last, but not least, Kate, the shoes are phenomenal!

Funny how the little girl from Win- Dixie can transform into a stunning woman so quickly. First off, the form-fitting shape suits Dakota perfectly, showing off her every curve in a flattering manner. Also, the off the shoulder shrug was a nice touch and adds some edge to the look. But I can not talk about how perfect the color combo is. Most people don't understand how red and blue go together, but these contrasting colors balance each other out and adds some edge to the look; it also adds some color to her pale skin. Only complaint is that instead of a nude colored shoe, she should add a bronze strappy heel.
