2016 Oscar Parties Red Carpet Wish List Part 14

We are close to the end of my Oscar parties wish lists, and we are going to go out strong. Emmy Rossum is always one that I am excited to see on the red carpet and she usually steps out for the Vanity Fair Oscar Party, so I am hoping that next Sunday she will be one of the gorgeous women out on the red carpet. I would die to see Emmy wearing this strapless Giambattista Valli Fall 2014 Couture floral embroidered tea length gown. I think that this gown would make for very chic red carpet moment for Emmy on the Vanity Fair red carpet. Old Hollywood waves, a red lip, yellow clutch, a pair of red pumps, and diamond cluster earrings would finish this red carpet look perfectly.
Jennifer Lopez is currently on hiatus from her Las Vegas residency as she judges the final season of American Idol so I am hoping that she will journey to the Vanity Fair Oscar Party giving us life with her red carpet moment. I have been wanting to see Jennifer wearing this silver Zuhair Murad Fall 2014 Couture long sleeve embellished gown since it first took to the runway. Since she is not going to the main show why not wear it for the party? I think that this gown mixes classic JLo sexy with high glam which makes it a perfect look for an Oscar night red carpet. Sultry styling via old Hollywood waves pushed over one shoulder, a silver clutch, a pair of silver pumps, diamond cluster earrings, and a red lip would ensure that JLo kills the red carpet.
Lea Michele is one of the celebrity co-chairs for the Elton John AIDS Foundation Oscar Viewing Party and I gotta say that I am kinda not looking forward to seeing her. In the past year or so Lea has not delivered anything on the red carpet that has made me stop and take notice. I would love to see her wearing this ruby red Elie Saab Fall 2013 Couture strapless embellished cocktail dress. Lea will most likely show up on the red carpet in some gown but I think that this cocktail ensemble is a perfect look for Oscar night. One can get away with shunning a gown for an Oscar party red carpet if it is avant garde or haute couture. Keeping the styling low key is the most important part of keeping this look perfect. I would have a pair of dyed to match ruby red satin peep toe pumps, a diamond bracelet, red lip, and a pair of diamond drop earrings on hand to ensure that Lea has a wow moment.
After appearing at the Academy Governors Awards late last year and appearing on the cover of the 2016 Vanity Fair Hollywood Issue, I am betting that Rachel Weisz is at the Vanity Fair Oscar Party next Sunday night. Rachel is one that I loved seeing on the red carpet last year and I hope that love continues on Oscar night. I picked this hot off the runway purple velvet Ralph Lauren Fall 2016 RTW strapless gown for Rachel as I think that it would give us a chic modern interpretation of old Hollywood glamour. Classic styling including a chic updo, a red lip, black clutch, a pair of black pumps, and a statement diamond necklace would finish this look off perfectly for Rachel.
Riley Keough brings cool girl chic to every red carpet that she steps onto. I am hoping that the Mad Max: Fury Road actress will be out on the Vanity Fair red carpet next Sunday. I would love to see Riley walking the red carpet in this Altuzarra Fall 2016 RTW sequined red and black handkerchief gown. It would take a woman with a very relaxed type of glamour to make this gown work on the red carpet and Riley has that type of red carpet persona. Blown out waves, a dark red lip, and black pumps would ensure that Riley kills the Vanity Fair red carpet.

Top 10 Looks at the 2016 Golden Globe Awards

I put together a video with all the 10 looks that I loved above all else on the red carpet. I was surprised by my non-love of Cate Blanchett and my inability to stop gushing over Jennifer Lopez (who wore the gown I picked for Cate Blanchett.) The Globes red carpet was pretty awesome and I have to say that I am now excited for awards season.

2016 People's Choice Awards Red Carpet Wish List Part 2

At the People's Choice Awards next Wednesday I am interested to see what Dakota Johnson will wear on the red carpet as she is nominated for Favorite Dramatic Movie Actress thanks to 50 Shades of Grey and she is also going to be presenting. People's Choice is a more casual version of an awards show so I think that this black Michael Kors Spring 2016 RTW shirt dress embellished with neck ribbons and grommets on the tiered skirt. This is a casual meets cocktail type of look and with the right styling I think that this dress would be perfect on Dakota for the People's Choice Awards red carpet. Keeping the runways belt and adding a pair of strappy sandals, a slicked back bun, and a red lip would ensure that Dakota keeps up the love I have of her on the People's Choice red carpet.
After nabbing the number 2 spot on my Best Dressed of the Year list it would seem that Emmy Rossum has a lot to live up to in 2016 and I know that she can handle the pressure. I am hoping that the actress, who thanks to her show Shameless, is nominated for the Favorite Premium Cable TV Actress will take to the red carpet at the 2016 People's Choice Awards. To keep up her flirty feminine style what better look to choose than this Monique Lhuillier Pre-Fall marigold and blush 3D guipure lace sleeveless dress. The moment I saw this dress in the lookbook I put it on reserve for Emmy so I really hope that she works her magic and gets her hands on this fantastic flirty dress. While I appreciate that Monique was trying to make this look more modern with the ankle boots, I would pair this look with a chic pair of simple gold sandals, a pink lip, and a gold metallic clutch to finish this look off perfectly for Emmy.
Like Dakota, Jennifer Lopez is nominated for Favorite Dramatic Movie Actress at the People's Choice Awards next Wednesday. We all know JLo has a flair for the dramatic and the sexy and this Naeem Khan Spring 2016 RTW gunmetal grey beaded chiffon halter jumpsuit is exactly what she would wear for an event like this. I know many are looking for something new from Jennifer but I know that when she does what she knows best, at it's best, that she truly shines on the red carpet. I would have Jennifer wear hear hair sleek with this jumpsuit adding minimal accessories like a pair of metallic gunmetal grey Jimmy Choo sandals and a red lip to ensure that this is JLo at her best and nothing less.
Julianne Hough has been on a lot of red carpets recently and I do not know why, at the People's Choice Awards she will be attending as a presenter with her Grease: Live co-stars Vanessa Hudgens and Carly Rae Jepsen. I am hoping that the try hardness that came with most of her looks in 2015 will be absent on the red carpet at the People's Choice Awards. I picked this black and white floral printed J. Mendel Spring 2016 RTW ensemble that consists of a chiffon micro-pleated blouse and mini skirt. This is the perfect look to help Julianne kick off 2016 in the right way, it is chic and simple and perfectly event appropriate. A pair of silver pumps or sandals and a silver Edie Parker clutch would be the perfect accessories to add to this look with chic simple curls and a pink lip to ensure that Julianne has a magical moment on the red carpet.
Kate Hudson will be on hand at the 2016 People's Choice Awards as a presenter. This news was very exciting to me because Kate had a GREAT year on the red carpet in 2015 and I am excited to see what 2016 will bring to her. I decided to pair Kate with the brand that landed her on the 2015 Best Dressed of the Year list for this red carpet, Versace. I think that since that Kate is a big movie star and not overly showy that this Versace Pre-Fall 2016 black pencil dress with detailed top which has a bit of sky blue in the featured spaghetti straps. This is the chic sexy look that I know Kate has the body and presence for. Finished with a pair of sky blue Jimmy Choo pumps, a black clutch, and a lightly smokey eye will finish this look off perfectly for this red carpet.

2015 End of the Year Style Awards: Best Dressed of 2015

First off I would like to wish all of my readers a very Merry Christmas. I hope everyone is spending the day with family and enjoying the day. On this day of celebration and gift giving I am gifting to all of you a host of beautiful women in my Best Dressed of the Year list. Taking the top spot is Lea Seydoux in custom bright sunshine yellow Prada at the 2015 BAFTA Awards. This was a major moment that made my jaw drop the moment I saw it. For the most part I was very disappointed in the BAFTA red carpet as there was nothing all that interesting until Lea showed up. This dramatic yet extremely elegant gown is one of the best things that Prada has ever put on the red carpet. It was however hard to choose between Lea's looks as they have all been amazing this year. I am excited to continue to see Lea be embraced by mainstream films because I want to see her on more big promo tour red carpets.
Following closely to Lea is Emmy Rossum who exuded lady like elegance at the The New York Botanical Garden's annual Conservatory Ball wearing a beautiful water inspired Carolina Herrera Fall 2015 RTW. If Lea and Prada weren't such a match made in heaven this would have been my number one look of the year. Everything about this look exudes chicness, from the diamond drop earrings to the sweeping updo, and the red lip. This will be a look that will rank in Emmy's record books for many years to come.

Sonam Kapoor is a stunning spokesmodel for L'Oreal Paris in India. Before she got her hands on this contract I had no idea who she was but slowly over the years she has been taking the Cannes Film Festival by storm and I have been loving more and more of her looks. This year I fell in love with this stunning Ashi Studio couture gown that Sonam wore for the L’Oreal Paris ‘Matte or Gloss’ Cannes Collection Launch prior to this years festival. The sculptural-ness of this gown made me absolutely fall in love with it. This gown is so unique in it's shape that most would end up being overwhelmed, and Sonam worked it like it owed her back rent.

Kerry Washington stepped out for the 2015 Emmy Awards and she worked the hell out of this Marc Jacobs Spring 2016 RTW completely embellished cocktail dress. Kerry broke standard awards show dress code rules by showing up in a short dress. While I would have been even more in love with this as a gown I applaud Kerry for stepping out of the standard box and going with a look from my favorite Spring 2016 RTW collection. This collection was made for adventurous spirits like Kerry. Oh and on a side note, Kerry is the only woman to make an appearance on both this years Best and Worst Dressed lists.
Kate Hudson and Atelier Versace has always been a match made in heaven. This white gown embellished with swarovski crystals and its plunging neckline has been on my mind all year. As I think back on all of my favorite moments that Kate Hudson has had on the red carpet almost all of them that come to mind immediately have been in white. What I love about this look is that while everything about this look on paper should read cheap, tacky, pageant dress but on Kate it is chic, demure with the right amount of sexy.

How to do you go out with a bang? Just look at Elizabeth Banks who kicked off the final promo tour for the Hunger Games series with Mockingjay Part 2 in grand style wearing an Elie Saab Fall 2015 Couture floral ball gown at the films world premiere in Berlin. This is a beautiful princess moment that I can picture her character, Effie Trinkett, being quite proud of. It may not have been the Atelier Versace moment that I was expecting but it is even more spectacular than what I was expecting.

I always have one street style look on the list. I am always one of the people who loves a great moment of personal style. Lupita Nyong'o was spotted leaving The View wearing a dress from the BOSS Fall 2015 RTW dress that she paired with a matching blazer, a grey BOSS "Bespoke" handbag, red suede pointed toe pumps, and a pair of black sunglasses. This is an edgy feminine version of a power suit that I immediately fell for. If you are looking for inspiration for hot work wear this is exactly what you should be using as inspiration.
Julianne Moore had an amazing year and it really was hard picking a favorite look of her's to feature on the Best Dressed of the Year list. With all kinds of custom gowns from Chanel and Givenchy it was surprising to me that my favorite look from the stunning redhead was her all black Armani Prive gown worn to the Cannes Film Festival opening ceremony. I love a redhead in black and Julianne pulled off this stunning gown embellished with crystals and feathers. I think it was the feathers, and the emerald Chopard earrings, that made me really love this gown. I am a sucker for feathers. Sleek hair and a perfectly executed smokey eye finished this look to perfection.

Lily James's rise to fashion stardom was paved with princess dresses from the likes of Dior and Elie Saab but it was her sleek modern icy grey/blue custom Balenciaga gown with brass buttons at the "Cinderella" premiere in London. For almost all the premieres it was ball gowns so I was very happy to see Lily change it up with this look. I love how she kept the styling simple adding sleek slicked back hair, a lined eye, and pink pout. This is how you do modern Cinderella. Lily at the end of the year cut her hair and dyed it dark and it's almost like she lost her mojo. I am hoping that she returns to top form in 2016, because this type of moment is one that is forever needed.

Finally I picked Blake Lively in her stunning red Monique Lhuillier Fall 2012 RTW gown at the New York premiere of her film "The Age of Adeline." The promo tour for this film was so much better than the movie and honestly she might have been a little overdressed for the occasion. Blake gave us sexy Marilyn bombshell in this dress which fused ruffles, lace, leather, and volume. The old Hollywood waves, Lorraine Schwartz diamond ear clips added to the high glamour of the look and a Judith Leiber "Koi Fish" swarovski crystal clutch added a quirky fun touch to ensure that Blake sizzled down the carpet.

It was a hard job taking over 1,300 red carpet looks and narrowing it down to 10 looks. It is a daunting task but someone has to do it. I want to take this moment to thank all of you for helping me have a wonderful year with If I Was A Stylist. 2016 starts a new chapter on my personal journey as for the first time I don't have any school to attend. I am going to work on balancing work life, with blogging and still having time for friends and family. I am formulating some new features for the blog based on things I want to add and things that I have been getting back in my feedback. If you haven't taken my survey please do. It is only 6 questions that help me give you guys what you most want to see. All the feedback I get helps me make your experience on this site more enjoyable. Awards season posts will start on Monday so I am excited to show all of you my wishes.

2015 Vanity Fair Oscar Party Wish List Part 1

I am taking a break from the main ceremony to focus on some of the Oscar night parties for the next few days. These events can be just as glam and give just as much high fashion as the main show does. Amy Adams did not receive an Oscar nomination this year but I am still praying that she decides to hit up a few of the parties. I would love to see Amy on the Vanity Fair Oscar Party red carpet wearing this shocking pink Schiaparelli Spring 2015 Couture silk gown. The silhouette of this gown is one we don't see from Amy very often but I think that the simple style with the bold color and pattern would just sing a beautiful with Amy on the red carpet.
Anna Kendrick is going to be performing at the Academy Awards ceremony next Sunday night and then I am sure she will head out to the parties. I am also figuring that Anna will make a costume change on her way. I created this wish before she was announced as a performer at the ceremony so I do not know if Anna would wear a ball gown, but I would love to see her wear this amazing black and white liquid organza Naeem Khan Pre-Fall 2015 gown that features a sweetheart neckline with multiple thin camisole-style straps, a black floral lace bodice that falls to a white floor length a-line skirt. This is a very pretty gown and I think that Anna would rock it on the red carpet. Old Hollywood waves, a red lip, a black Edie Parker clutch and a pair of black strappy Christian Louboutin sandals would be the perfect finishing touches to put Anna on top of the Best Dressed lists.
The Best Supporting Actress nominated Emma Stone usually changes out of her Oscars ceremony gown and into a second look for the Vanity Fair Oscar Party. I have a feeling that is going to be the case next Sunday night. I picked a beautiful blue and gold Valentino Couture ballgown for Emma to wear for the ceremony so I figured I would give her something that wasn't as much for the Vanity Fair Party. I picked this light gold embroidered high neck gown from the Valentino "Sala Bianca" Haute Couture collection that was presented to commemorate the reopening of the Valentino NYC Flagship. This collection has been receiving a lot of red carpet love and I am sure that time is nowhere near up. I think that this gold gown would make Emma look like a flaming goddess. Finish the look with a gold Lee Savage clutch, a pink lip and a pair of gold sandals and Emma will show why she is one of the best dressed women on the red carpet scene.
Emmy Rossum is going to be hosting the Costume Designers Guild Awards on Tuesday night so I am hoping that she will stay in LA through Oscars night and attend the Vanity Fair Oscars After Party. Emmy is one of my favorite women who rocks red carpets. Very rarely does Emmy disappoint on the red carpet. I would love to see Emmy wear this heavy georgette Monique Lhuillier Pre-Fall 2015 halter gown with a front opening that reveals a vibrant orchid print. I love this gown. When this gown is not in motion this gown you don't really see the print but it is a fun unexpected punch.
I could not find a Dior gown for Felicity Jones to wear for the actual Academy Awards ceremony, even though I feel like she will wear a custom dress. I would love to see her change into this floral print Christian Dior Spring 2015 Couture cocktail dress with side cutouts. This is a mix of 50's housewife and ultra sleek modernity. This is something that I really want to see Felicity do on the red carpet. She does the prim look so well it would be nice to see Felicity wear something with a little edge. Silver sandals and chic hair and  makeup would finish this look off perfectly for the Vanity Fair Oscars After-Party red carpet.
This year Gwen Stefani is rumored to be dropping not only an album with No Doubt but also releasing another solo album. I would love to see Gwen on the red carpet at the Vanity Fair Party next Sunday night. The Alexandre Vauthier Spring 2015 Couture collection was really popular for Grammy weekend and I think that Gwen should get her hands on this collection. I would love to see Gwen wear this silver sequined long sleeve Alexandre Vauthier Spring 2015 Couture gown with a plunging neckline and split to there. The belt reminds me of a heavyweight championship belt so I would probably switch it up and pair it with a black Alaia belt, black sandals, a red lip sand some stunning Chopard diamond earrings to ensure that Gwen is a red carpet hit.
Hilary Swank always wows the fuck out of me. There is something about her grace and elegance that I just love to see her in what ever she wears. I would love to see Hilary wear this Elie Saab brown and blue long sleeve mermaid gown with sweeping train and all over embellishments from the Fall 2014 Couture collection. This gown would be a stunning look for Hilary to wear for the Vanity Fair Party. It is chic and sophisticated and Hilary would infuse sex into the look. A blue clutch, old Hollywood waves and a pair of black sandals would finish this look off perfectly for the Vanity Fair red carpet.

2015 Costume Designers Guild Awards Wish List

The 17th Annual Costume Designers Guild Awards will be held at the Beverly Hilton Hotel on February 17, 2015. I am excited for the fact that one of my favorite women, Emmy Rossum, is going to be the hostess of the evening. Emmy always gives me couture realness when she steps out wearing all of the best designers. For the CDG Awards I would love to see Emmy wear this Oscar de la Renta Pre-Fall 2015 strapless ball gown with its bold floral print. Many would send this gown back afraid of the statement making print, but Emmy is never one to stray away from a challenge and I would love to see her take this gown on. Paring this gown with some stunning Chopard drop earrings, a light pink lip, and a pair of red sandals would ensure that Emmy gives Oscar chic at the CDG Awards
Emma Stone has been making the red carpet rounds promoting "Birdman" on its journey to the Academy Awards. With the film being nominated for its costume design at the CDG Awards I am praying that Emma shows up. I would love to see her wear this emerald green Jason Wu Pre-Fall 2015 t-shirt style dress with beaded stripes in differing directions on the top and skirt. I absolutely adore a red head in green and we haven't seen Emma wear green in a while. Finish the look with a green Edie Parker clutch, a pair of gold pumps, and a red lip would make everyone green with envy for Emma's red carpet look.
Felicity Jones is still on the road to being one of my red carpet queens. I love almost every single look the she puts out on the red carpet. For the Costume Designers Guild Awards, I would love to see Felicity wear this Marchesa Pre-Fall 2015 cocktail dress rendered in black corded lace and features a fitted bodice with a full pleated skirt and scalloped edges. I think that this is a sweet dress, which is perfect for the look that Felicity always gives on the red carpet. I would pair this look with a pair of coral Elie Saab sandals, sleek hair, and a coral lip to make sure that Felicity is all about bringing impact to the red carpet at the Costume Designers Guild Awards.
Reese Witherspoon has been on a roller coaster of style this red carpet season. I have either loved or hated her red carpet looks, and most have been very monochromatic. I am praying for Reese to wear some color on the red carpet, and what better event that the Costume Designers Guild Awards to do that? I picked this amazing Christian Dior Spring 2015 Couture cocktail dress with a green top and a multicolored striped full skirt for Reese to wear. I think that the silhouette is something that Reese would be naturally drawn to, it is very ladylike. Reese loves herself a ladylike silhouette and this gown gives that AND modernity with the colors and striped skirt. The boldness of the pattern and colors are what I fear would push Reese away from this dress. I would finish this look off simply with a pair of gold pumps and tousled waves to give Reese a perfect red carpet look.
"The Grand Budapest Hotel" is nominated for Best Period Costumes in a Movie and I am hoping for a Swinton sighting at the CDG Awards. Tilda Swinton is a red carpet queen. I love how she can work mannish or feminine silhouettes on the red carpet and always look stunning. One of Tilda's favorite designers, and closest friends, is Hadier Ackermann and it has been a hot minute since we have seen her in one of his designs. I picked this mauve silk suit, with a boxy blazer and tapered pants, and burgundy chiffon top covered in rosettes from the Hadier Ackermann Spring 2015 RTW collection. This look is an amazing balance of menswear inspiration and feminine details to create the perfect red carpet look for Tilda. Her short locks styled in her signature coif and nude pumps would ensure that Tilda slays the red carpet.

2014 Hollywood Film Festival: "Before I Disappear" Premiere Wish List

Emmy Rossum will most likely take to the red carpet when she premiere's her film "Before I Disappear" at the 2014 Hollywood Film Festival on October 17th. I would pick this blush nude iridescent Monique Lhuillier Spring 2015 RTW tea length chantilly lace cocktail dress paired with a matching chantilly lace tunic with a cropped front with an extended back hem. This stunning red carpet ensemble is totally within the sweet and surgary Emmy Rossum and I think that this is a perfect look for this premiere. A pair of gold Stuart Weitzman 'Nudist' sandals and a gold Edie Parker clutch would ensure that Emmy has a stunning red carpet moment.

Runway Report: Atelier Versace Fall 2014 Couture

Fall 2014 Haute Couture Fashion Week had its official start last night in Paris with the presentation of the Atelier Versace Fall 2014 Couture collection. Sticking to a minimal celebrity front row that they had at the Spring 2014 Couture presentation with only Nina Dobrev and Jennifer Lopez being seated front row at this presentation. Donatella Versace looked to classic 1950's Haute Couture as the starting point of the Fall 2014 Couture collection. The collection was classic meets bad girl couture, think elegant debutante meets dominatrix. The ensembles were created with a the idea of constructing and deconstruction with ball skirts giving way to bodysuits, gowns slashed and paired pants, and ensembles that had mini shorts on one side and long trousers with the other. These looks will be worn mostly by the stars of the stage like Rihanna, Lady Gaga, Rita Ora, Beyonce, Miley Cyrus, ETC and modified and custom versions will be rocked with the elite of Hollywood for Film Festival and Awards Season come the Fall red carpets.

2014 Critics Choice Televison Awards Wish List Part 1

The First Lady of "Scandal" Bellamy Young is nominated at the 2014 Critics Choice Television Awards for Best Supporting Actress in a Drama Series for her work on the hit political drama. She has come a long way from her start slowly growing better red carpet options. Last week at the closing ceremony of the Monte-Carlo Television Festival, Bellamy rocked a sexy Naeem Khan gown and I am hoping that her stellar run will continue at the Critics Choice Awards. This ivory Oscar de la Renta Spring 2014 RTW strapless tiered column gown would be a regal elegant choice for Bellamy to make for the awards show. A pair of gold drop earrings, a gold Edie Parker clutch, and a pair of gold strappy sandals would give this the perfect finishing touches for the red carpet on Thursday.
Emmy Rossum will be playing double duty come the 2014 Critics Choice Television Awards on Thursday night. Emmy is not only nominated for Best Actress in a Comedy for "Shameless" but is also going to be a presenter for the awards show. Emmy rocks all of the best American designers and is one of my absolute favorite stars to see take to the red carpet. For her big night I would love to see Emmy wear this amazing ice blue Jason Wu Resort 2015 minimalist a-line ball gown. While she might have to fight Diane Kruger for this gown, as Diane is also a presenter (my wish for her to come on Wednesday), I would love to see Emmy rock this gown as I know she would do so with great aplomb. A pink lip, a silver Edie Parker clutch, a pair of silver Stuart Weitzman 'Nudist' sandals, as well as some simple Harry Winston earrings would make this look perfect for the Critics Choice Television Awards on Thursday night.
When it comes to the red carpet Julia Louis-Dreyfus is either a big hit or a huge miss to me. She had hits at the Golden Globes and SAG Awards earlier this year in Narciso Rodriguez and Monique Lhuillier respectively. I am hoping that Julia is able to keep up her big run when it comes to Thursday night's Critics Choice Television Awards where she is nominated for Best Actress in a Comedy. I think that this red Notte by Marchesa Fall 2014 RTW halter lace gown would look stunning on Julia. I think that this neckline is one that always works for her and I don't think I could tire of seeing her wearing. A pair of satin peep toe pumps dyed to match the color of the gown, a pair of gold drop diamond earrings, and a gold and diamond bracelet would make this gown shine for Julia's big night.
Julianna Margulies is one of the few stars who could snag a couture gown for the red carpet and I am really hoping that she does. After sticking to her signature color, black, for the Golden Globes and White House Correspondents Dinner, I am hoping that Julianna will bring some color to the red carpet come Thursday night where she is nominated for Best Actress in a Drama Series for "The Good Wife." I think that this blue Armani Prive Spring 2014 Couture strapless gown with all its hand embroidery and embellishments is a stunning choice that Julianna should make for the Critics Choice Television Awards. Julianna has worn a few Armani Prive gowns before and I have never been a fan but I believe that this would be the perfect pairing. A small silver clutch, a pair of silver sandals, and simple but jaw dropping diamonds (in her ears and on her wrist) would send this look over the edge and make international best dressed looks.

2014 LA Film Festival: "Comet" Premeire Wish List

Emmy Rossum will be premiering her newest film "Comet" tonight at the LA Film Festival and I could not be more excited. Emmy knows how to work a red carpet no matter where it lies on the casual to formal spectrum. This fact makes her one of my favorite ladies to see take to the red carpet. For her premiere tonight I would pick this gold floral embroidered Oscar de la Renta Resort 2015 silk tulle cocktail dress. This is a classic look for the actress who can work every kinda look in the spectrum. A gold Edie Parker clutch and a pair of nude Stuart Weitzman 'Nudist' sandals paired with a pink lip would ensure that Emmy keeps on keeping on with her amazing red carpet run.

Runway Report: Christian Siriano Resort 2015

Christian Siriano looked to Teil Duncan’s colorful and abstract paintings as well as Tokyo’s sakura season, which he experienced for the first time earlier this year, when he was creating his Resort 2015 collection. A collection filled with bright bold pieces that would make any jet set lady envious made up of a variety of tops, trousers and jackets for day, as well as romantic and playful cocktail dresses and gowns for evening. Duncan’s graphic colorful nudes and whimsical beach scenes helped set the tone for this playful and powerful collection. Patterns such as bright floral brocades, bold graphic stripes and oversized petal leaf prints added a modern edge to the classic shapes that create this collection. This collection has to be one of the best red carpet worthy Resort collections that Christian Siriano has put out and I cannot wait to see these stunning creations worn at biggest red carpet events.
