2016 Oscar Parties Red Carpet Wish List Part 7

First off I would like to apologize for posting wish lists earlier without any details. I have been really busy with my new job and trying to keep on top of NYFW and the Grammy Awards that I just didn't get to writing the content for those posts and didn't want the lists to fall to the wayside either. Continuing on with my Oscar night wish lists is my wish for Daisy Ridley. Daisy has been the darling of fashion since she burst on to the scene in some of the most coveted brands with the promo tour for Star Wars: The Force Awakens. We will first see Daisy on the red carpet at the main ceremony as one of the nights presenters but I am hoping she does a quick change for the after parties. After what I am sure will be a very classic look on the red carpet at the ceremony I would love to see Daisy change directions and wear something a little edgier for the Vanity Fair party. I think that this navy lace Christopher Kane Pre-Fall 2016 gown which features high neck, neon orange tape details and sequin floral embroidery would be an amazing look for Daisy to give on the after party red carpet. It would take a very confident person to make this gown work on the red carpet, and though she might be new to Hollywood Daisy has the confidence to make it work. I would complete the look with a sleek bun, an orange clutch, navy peep toe pumps, diamond cluster earrings and a smokey eye to ensure that this is a major moment on the Vanity Fair red carpet.
Emma Stone is always a favorite for me when it comes to her red carpet style and I am hoping that she will be out on Oscar night despite the fact that she is not presenting or nominated. I can most see Emma going to the Vanity Fair part and since it would just be a night of fun for her I picked this amazing Marc Jacobs Spring 2016 RTW gown for her to wear on the red carpet. I love that this gown reminds me of a shirt dress and the print, which looks like it has been dropped in bleach, makes for a perfect relaxed but still elegant red carpet look. I think that Emma would show up in either a relaxed look like this or in some sort of couture cocktail ensemble. A wavy updo, a red lip, silver clutch, silver peep toe pumps, and some killer diamond drop earrings would finish this relaxed glam look off perfectly for this red carpet for Emma.
Gugu Mbatha-Raw has been another of my absolute favorites to see on the red carpet and she has been recently picking up a bit of steam in Hollywood so I would not be surprised to see her on the red carpet at the Vanity Fair Oscar Party, especially since she is one of the stars of the magazines annual Hollywood issue. I would love to see the actress, whom favors very feminine looks, to choose this peachy pink Elie Saab Fall 2012 Couture gold embroidered gown. I have long been perplexed as to why this gown has not seen the light of a red carpet despite it being something that I can actually picture quite a few actresses in Hollywood wearing, maybe just looking for the perfect woman. Gugu would float down the red carpet at the Vanity Fair party in this feminine and elegant gown. A chic updo, fresh faced makeup, and a pair of gold pumps would be the only things I would add to make this a perfect red carpet outing for a gown the most definitely deserves it.
There has not been a single Jane Fonda red carpet moment that I have liked since her electric blue Atelier Versace during the Cannes Film Festival last year and I am hoping that come Oscar night at she will finally redeem herself. Instead of going to the usual suspects of Versace, Saint Laurent, or Balmain I went with an unexpected (and probably highly unlikely) choice with this Pamella Roland Pre-Fall 2016 gold sequin long sleeve gown which  featured 3D gold floral embellishment. I think that this is the look that would make me love a Jane Fonda moment again on the red carpet. It embodies everything that I love in her style, it is mature but sexy and statement making. I am really hoping that whatever slump that Jane is in with her red carpet style choices ends before she heads back to Cannes in May.
Finally for today I have my wish for Kate Beckinsale who is always one that knows how to bring drama to the red carpet. I would kill to see Kate rock the red carpet in this white and pink Giambattista Spring 2014 Couture strapless floral printed, knotted waits mermaid gown. Kate is the queen on this silhouette on the red carpet and I think that she would be one of the few who would do this gown justice on the Vanity Fair party red carpet. I have heard that the placement of the print on this gown likens it to a used tampon but I think that is just people that don't appreciate haute couture styling and Kate is one who does. An elegant updo, pink lip, dazzling diamond drop earrings, and silver sandals would complete this look to perfection.

You Better Werk!: Lady Gaga in Marc Jacobs at the 2016 Grammy Awards

Lady Gaga attended the 2016 Grammy Awards last night to pay tribute to one of her greatest inspirations, the late David Bowie, and she did so in full Gaga style. Bowie was known for his boundary pushing fashion style and Gaga totally embodied his essence in two custom Marc Jacobs ensembles. Her red carpet look as a beautiful embroidered jacket dress that the moment I saw it reminded me of classic Bowie. and her white performance look was perfection. The orange hair and full bold makeup just completed the stunning tribute to one of music and fashions greatest personalities. I was glad to see that Gaga still can go all out for music red carpets after so many demure looks on film and television red carpets.

You Better Werk: Rihanna in Marc Jacobs at the MusiCares Person of the Year Gala

Rihanna has been killing it recently and her appearance during the 2016 MusiCares Person of the Year Gala honoring Lionel Richie was no different. Rihanna wore a stunning gown from the Marc Jacobs Spring 2016 RTW collection, giving us my favorite look from the collection off the runway (it surpasses Kerry Washington at the Emmy Awards which landed on my Best Dressed of the Year list last year.) This red and white embroidered sheer gown was a perfect look for a stage performance and Rihanna killed it. She paired the gown with a pair of red and white pointed toe sneakers from her debut Fenty x Puma collection. On anyone else I would have loathed that styling but Rihanna makes it all work. I was already very excited to see what she will wear when she takes to the red carpet at the Grammy Awards and this just makes me even more eager.

What Were You Thinking?: Naomi Campbell in Marc Jacobs at the "Zoolander No. 2" NYC Premiere

I am always perplexed as to what Naomi Campbell is thinking when she steps out on the red carpet. As the world's most recognizable supermodel with friends at all of the largest fashion houses Naomi more often than not ends up on my worst dressed list. I have always thought that she should either fire her stylist or if she is making these decisions herself then she should get one. Case and point? This Marc Jacobs Spring 2016 RTW coat that Naomi wore over a black satin bra, and black mini shorts. I know that this was a kitschy red carpet, it started with a fashion show down the red carpet, but this was her actual red carpet look. Just adding to the terrible nature of this look were those silver sandals which just looked cheap. The only thing from this look that I would salvage is the necklace. Sorry Naomi you tried but it just didn't work, please go home and try again.

2015 Gotham Independent Film Awards Red Carpet Wish List

Brie Larson is most likely going to be working the red carpets from the Gotham Independent Film Awards tomorrow night all the way to the Oscars at the end of February thanks to her performance in the film Room. I have slowly been getting into Brie's style as she has been trying to find her style over the past year and she has been killing the red carpets lately. For tomorrow nights Gotham Independent Film Awards, where Brie is nominated for Best Actress, I would love to see her wearing this black leather Alexander McQueen Resort 2016 floral embroidered sleeveless a-line dress. Gotham is usually a more laid back awards show, so no big gowns needed. This is a pretty dress and I think quite event appropriate. I would style this look with a pair of red pumps to just take this look to another level and ensure that Brie keeps going things great on her Oscar campaign.
Queen Cate seems to have lost her crown recently as she has not been giving me WOW moment after WOW moment and I am hoping that as she kicks off awards season that she will be back on point. Tomorrow night's Gotham Independent Film Awards, where Cate is nominated for Best Actress thanks to her performance in Carol, that she makes a major impact. Cate has been experimenting with different types of looks and I really want her to just go back to the old Hollywood glamour with a twist that made me fall in love with her. I picked this Marc Jacobs Spring 2016 RTW ensemble which consists of a three quarter length sleeve embroidered jacket paired with silk pants. This is a different look for Cate but still along that classic style that she would go for. I am hoping that she really gives me something that I can say WOW to tomorrow. Finish the look with a red lip, black Louboutin pumps, wavy faux bob, and diamond cluster earrings to ensure that this look is styled to perfection.
Helen Mirren is being honored tomorrow night with a Tribute Award at the Gotham Independent Film Awards. Helen will either wear Dolce & Gabbana or Badgley Mischka and I am guessing it is going to be the former, I am just hoping that it isn't another lace or floral dress as I am really getting tired of seeing Helen in those Dolce looks. I picked this Dolce & Gabbana Spring 2016 RTW dress which features a full skirted 50's silhouette and a mikado brushstroke print. This is a look that Helen has done before but with a new print which would make it less deja vu than any other look that she could pull from this collection. Finishing the look with a pair of gold pumps and a red lip will keep that pretty 50's vibe that this dress commands.
Kristen Wiig is also nominated for Best Actress tomorrow at the Gotham Independent Film Awards and I am intrigued to see what she is going to wear. Kirsten is one that I can never really predict what she is going to show up in. At the gala premiere of The Martian at the New York Film Festival Kristen shocked me wearing an Oscar de la Renta Spring 2016 RTW strapless cocktail dress with a plunging neckline that I never would have even predicted that she would wear and rocked it. I am hoping that tomorrow she keeps up her good work on the red carpet. I picked this black Michael Kors Spring 2016 RTW metal grommet embellished cocktail dress. Some might think that this look is too casual for an awards show but I think that this is something that Kirsten would make look more formal than it actually is. A lot of the classing up would come through the styling. I would add a pair of black Saint Laurent sandals, a black and silver Edie Parker confetti clutch, sleek hair, and a red lip will ensure that Kristen actually gives me a beautiful look on the red carpet.
Rachel McAdams might not be nominated tomorrow at the Gotham Independent Film Awards but since her film Spotlight is nominated for Best Picture she might show up. Rachel has been having a pretty good year this year on the red carpet after letting me fall out of love with her red carpet decisions. I think I would literally die if Rachel showed up tomorrow night in this Oscar de la Renta Spring 2015 RTW sheath silhouette dress with an allover floral print, a defined contrasting waist, and a pencil skirt. I love the vintage and Spanish inspired elements of this dress and just how ladylike it would actually make this a major moment on the red carpet. I would finish this look off with a black box clutch, a pair of yellow pumps, and pink lip to just punch the look up just that much more.

I am currently looking for feedback from my readers if you wouldn't mind taking a quick six question survey I would be greatly appreciative of that, you can take it by clicking here.

2015 American Music Awards: Celine, Chloe, Ciara, Gigi & Gwen Red Carpet Wish List

Performers and presenters for the 2015 American Music Awards just keep coming in, the addition of Celine Dion this morning to the list of performers held up this post. Celine has been added to perform a special rendition of Edith Piaf’s “Hymne à L’Amour” in French as tribute to those affected by the recent attacks in Paris at the American Music Awards on Sunday night. I have long been a fan of Celine's style and I am intrigued to see what she and stylist Annie Horth will put together for such a somber moment in the show. I believe that this strapless Elie Saab Spring 2013 Couture black gown with black embellishments of the bodice would be a beautiful statement for Celine to make. It would honor not just those in Paris but also Beirut, two places attacked recently and both important to the Elie Saab label. This is such a chic elegant moment that I would hope that Celine and Annie do pull from the Elie Saab couture closet to give such a beautiful moment at the American Music Awards.
Actress Chloe Grace Moretz is on the list of presenters for Sunday night's American Music Awards and I am trying to figure out what the 18 year old actress would wear. I ended up settling on this Christian Dior Spring 2015 Couture bright yellow embellished coat dress because its edgy yet mod which is exactly what I think an actress presenting at a music awards show should be. No need for big gowns for this occasion as it really isn't her night. I would keep the styling simple with a pair of black Christian Dior pointed toe pumps and a mod hairstyle to keep this look chic and simple without it turning into a costume.
After attending both the Grammy Awards and the VMA's this year with no real purpose other than wearing a pretty dress on the red carpet Ciara will actually have a duty at the 2015 American Music Awards as a presenter. If record has anything to say about it Ciara will be wearing Alexandre Vauthier on Sunday but after inspecting all of the current collections and the couture archive there isn't a look from the label that I particularly love for her. This black and white Alexander McQueen Spring 2016 RTW long sleeve lace turtle neck gown embroidered with a beautiful eagle on the other hand is something that I can totally picture Ciara wearing and working the hell out of. Many devoted red carpet fanatics, myself included, are sick of the naked dress trend but it seems like is has no signs of slowing down and when the gown can be this fierce who can really complain. Sleek hair pulled into a tight bun, a bronze smokey eye, a pair of diamond cluster earrings, and strappy black sandals will complete this perfect look for the AMA red carpet.
Making her first appearance on this blog in a wish list model Gigi Hadid is going to be presenting Sunday night at the 2015 American Music Awards. I am intrigued as to what Gigi will end up wearing on the red carpet. After making a splash in two Atelier Versace gowns on Oscar night I was excited to see more from Gigi but sadly she has not really lived up to that standard she set. For Sunday nights awards I would love to see Gigi wearing this lipstick red Elie Saab Spring 2016 RTW strapless stretch cady and silk georgette jumpsuit for the red carpet. I was surprised when I saw Gigi on this runway and I think that she would fit right in wearing this collection on the red carpet. A pair of gold sandals, beachy waves, and fresh faced makeup will ensure that Gigi injects some cool girl status into this music awards red carpet.
Gwen Stefani will be on hand Sunday night as the only performer in this group. Gwen will be performing her new song "Used To Love You" and I am really excited to see what she will be rocking on the red carpet and during her performance. Her duo of Atelier Versace looks at the 2015 Grammy Awards were AMAZING and I am hoping that she continues to make amazing sartorial decisions. I would love to see Gwen take on the Marc Jacobs Spring 2016 RTW collection for the red carpet. There are a lot of looks that I think she could work the hell out of but I ultimately decided to choose this blue surrealist print gowns which looks like they have been dip dyed in bleach. I love how this gown gives a laid back approach to high glamour and I honestly think Gwen is one of the few that could make this look crazy high fashion. I would finish the look with Gwen's signature red lip, a vintage inspired hairstyle, a pair of silver pumps, and a pair of diamond cluster earrings to keep the vintage inspired air of this look going on the red carpet.

I am currently looking for feedback from my readers if you wouldn't mind taking a quick six question survey I would be greatly appreciative of that, you can take it by clicking here.

2015 AFI Fest: "Carol" Premiere Wish List

Whilst this year Cate Blanchett has not been a disaster most of the queens red carpet looks have not been up to the incredibly high standards that she has continued to set for herself. I have not been in love with one of her looks since her black Armani Prive gown at the Cannes Film Festival. I am hoping that when she steps out for the 2015 AFI Fest premiere of "Carol" that Cate is back on form. I picked this black and white mirror embellished Marc Jacobs Resort 2016 structured "shirt" dress for her because I think that this edgy masculine meets feminine ensemble is perfect for Cate to wear for this red carpet. A sleek hairstyle, a red lip, black clutch, and a pair of black sandals will ensure that Cate is back on top form.
With Cate not being a complete favorite Rooney Mara has been consistently wowing me on the red carpet, and I am hoping that she will continue to do so at the AFI Fest premiere of "Carol." Rooney has been sticking to her black and white box but picking interesting looks so that nothing is left to be called boring. I am surprised that Rooney has not worn a single Givenchy look so far this year and I am awaiting that moment on the red carpet. I love how Rooney's romantic gothic style is perfectly punctuated by the soft romantic styles of Givenchy. I think that this white silk and lace Givenchy Spring 2016 RTW ensemble is a perfect look for Rooney to wear on this red carpet. Finish with a pair of silver sandals and Audrey Hepburn inspired beauty and Rooney will be perfectly poised to a major red carpet moment in one of her favorite designers.

Jena Malone for "The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2" International Promo Tour Wish List

It was the red carpets for "The Hunger Games: Catching Fire" and "The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1" that really turned Jena Malone into someone to watch on the red carpet. I was not her biggest fan going into the "Catching Fire" tour and I slowly learned to love what the edgy star had to offer. I edited al of these lovely wishes for Jena with her blond locks in mind and after all was said and done I have learned that she has dyed her hair (AGAIN) and it seems like she will be rocking brunette locks for this promo tour. For the Paris premiere I would love to see Jena wear this Ulyana Sergeenko Fall 2015 Couture one sleeved embellished gown. I think that this gown is perfect for the edgy star because it mixes edge and glamour which is perfect for Jenna on the red carpet. A pair of blue metallic sandals, and the runways ball minaudiere are perfect ways to finish off this look.
I am PRAYING to the fashion gods that Jena gets her hands on one of the amazing looks from the Marc Jacobs Spring 2016 RTW collection. Jena rocks edgy bold looks like no other and I think that this red gown is perfect for Jena to wear on the red carpet in a city like Moscow or Madrid. The 1930's circus performer inspired embroidery on the bodice of this gown make is difficult to picture on anyone who doesn't have a bold red carpet presence and Jena has that perfect presence to make this gown work on the red carpet and not look like a costume. I would pair this gown simply with a pair of gold pumps to ensure that the dress is the focus of the look.
For the last look I am predicting for Jena for the international promo tour for "The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2" is this stunning 3-D floral embroidered grey blue Valentino Resort 2016 long sleeved gown. This is a very elegant peasant style gown that I would love to see Jena rock on the red carpet for a city like Berlin. Jena loves her some Valentino and we are bound to see her in at least one look for this promo tour and I think that this floral elegant gown makes for such an impactful red carpet moment for Jena. It should be simple nude sandals that finish this look since the gown itself is such a statement in itself.

2015 Hamptons International Film Festival Red Carpet Wish List Part 1

The Hampton's International Film Festival kicks off today and unlike most years it seems like many stars will be flocking to Long Island's famous resort town to promote their films. Cate Blanchett is one of the women expected to make her way to East Hampton to promote her latest film "Truth" at the Opening and the centerpiece gala of the festival is for her film "Carol." I only picked one look for Cate based on time constraints but I think that this Marc Jacobs Spring 2016 RTW ensemble with its red button down blouse and black trousers is a perfect look for this festival. The HIFF is known for being a more laid back festival so this ensemble would work for either of Cate's premieres. I love how this gives off a glamorous take on 1930's/40's women's work wear, and I love Cate in a vintage inspired moment. Finish the look off with Louboutin pump, Veronica Lake waves, & a red lip to ensure that Cate is oh so effortlessly glamorous.
I have doubts that Diane Kruger will journey to the Hampton's for the festivals premiere of her film "Disorder" since it is not one of the Gala or main slate films. If Diane does decide to jet out for the premiere, because why not?, I would love to see her wearing this black Christopher Kane Spring 2015 RTW slip dress which features a multicolored abstract print at the neckline, and a sexy split. This would be one off the sexier looks Diane would wear this year and I think she would rock the hell out of this simple 90's inspired dress. I would finish it off with the runways electric blue sandals, soft waves, and a red lip to ensure Diane is on fleek.
Emily Blunt may not have a film premiering at the HIFF she will be attending an "In Conversation" talk on Sunday. I would love to see Emily wear this soft white Peter Pilotto Spring 2015 RTW dress detailed with navy blue embroidery. I think that this is a perfect middle of the day look for Emily to rock for this type of an event. This dress will look good for the pre/post standing pictures as well as look good while she is sitting being interviewed. Finish the look with a pair of gold pumps and a soft pink lip and Emily will be sure to have a perfect look on her hands.

#NYFF15: "Carol" Premiere Wish List

I am SOOOOOOO excited about the "Carol" premiere at the 2015 New York Film Festival. I have not had enough Cate Blanchett in my life this year and it seems like we will be seeing a lot of her over at least the next two months. For this premiere I would love to see Cate wear this off the shoulder Marc Jacobs Resort 2016 long sleeved mirror embellished gown. I have been picturing either Cate or Nicole Kidman wearing this gown since it was first presented. I think that this is a more modern look than we are used to seeing Cate wear but I think that she would rock the hell out of it. Finish this look with a wavy faux bob, black sandals, and a bright red lip and this look will be absolute perfection.
Rooney Mara is almost too predictable on the red carpet. She will most likely wear a white or black dress for the "Carol" premiere at the New York Film Festival, but I am holding out hope for something slightly different. I would love to see Rooney wear this lemon sorbet colored Givenchy Fall 2015 Couture feathered tea-length gown for this premiere. I think that the soft pastel color of this dress fits Rooney's non bold personality. Finished with a pair of nude sandals, pulled back waves, and neutral makeup will ensure that Rooney looks sensational on the red carpet.

2013 CFDA Awards Wish List Part 1

The Council of Fashion Designers of America, or the CFDA as it is known, gathers at Lincoln Center every June to celebrate designers in American fashion. This year the ceremony will take place at the home of New York Fashion week on June 3, 2013. Now all of the ladies that are going to be features over the next few days in this list are not confirmed to attend and will not be until I see them walking the red carpet at the event. I have chosen each lady based on past relationships with CFDA members and nominated designers. Allison Williams has stepped out wearing Oscar de la Renta several time in the past year since she has made her mark on the fashion world. Oscar will be receiving The Founders Award in Honor of Eleanor Lambert and Allison would be the perfect date for the classic designer. This lime green gown with grape purple embroidery from the Oscar de la Renta Resort 2013 collection would be the best option for Allison as it is her classic sophisticated style to the T. Pair this gown with just a pair of simple gold sandals, a gold bracelet, and a classic up do and Allison will make her mark on the CFDA red carpet.
Anna Wintour is the only woman that is 100% attending the 2013 CFDA Awards as the Council is partnered with Vogue to help launch the careers of promising young New York based designers like Alexander Wang, Prabal Gurung, and Jason Wu. For this event Anna usually wears a business like knee length sheath dress made my an American designer like Carolina Herrera, Oscar de la Renta, or Marc Jacobs so many of you might be puzzled as to why I have chosen to put her in this black and grey Balenciaga Fall 2013 RTW dress which is a French fashion house. Well in January the house announced that its new creative director is former CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund Award winner and multi time CFDA Award winner Alexander Wang. So I would not be surprised if the famous Vogue Editor in Chief wore a design by him. What would surprise me is if she doesnt wear her standard nude Manolo Blahnik 'AW' sandals and her beaded necklaces.
Cat Deeley has selected a Monique Lhuillier gown for several of her major red carpet appearances in the past year. Cat wore gowns by the designer for the Emmy Awards and the Costume Designers Guild Awards among many others. If she were to attends as the guest of the designer who would just be attending as a member of the CFDA if she chose to attend I would love to see Cat wear this amazing white patterned Monique Lhuillier Fall 2013 RTW gown. She is one of the few ladies that I have been able to picture wearing this gown on the red carpet and I know she would have no trouble pulling of the glam that this look requires. Complete this look with a gold metallic clutch, gold sandals, and her hair pulled back would create a winning look for this red carpet.
While I am usually a fan of Christina Ricci on the red carpet lately she has been underwhelming me so I am hoping that she redeems herself on the red carpet of the CFDA Awards if she was to attend this year. I would love to see her wear CFDA member and Women's Wear Designer of the Year nominee Marc Jacobs silver sequin gown from the Fall 2013 RTW collection. I was surprised that not more of this collection was worn for the Met Ball this year but Christina would look fantastic in this liquid sliver gown. Complete the look with a black Edie Parker clutch and some black peep toe pumps and Christina will dazzle and sparkle on the red carpet at the 2013 CFDA Awards
It would not surprise me if Claire Danes attends the 2013 CFDA Awards with designer and friend Ricardo Tisci the creative director at Givenchy who will be receiving the International Award. This is the one chance, besides possibly Anna Wintour, that we have a shot at seeing a non-American based brand on the red carpet. I decided to dig into the Givenchy archives to pick this amazing gold Givenchy Spring 2008 Couture completely embellished cocktail dress. I have been in love with this dress since the first time I saw it on the runway and I am surprised that this didn't get picked up for an Awards Show, Met Ball, or Film Festival in the past but you know what they say you snooze you loose. I would pair this dress with a pair of gold Jimmy Choo 'Lance' sandals and a loose up do would complete this absolutely stunning ensemble.

Miranda Kerr Street Style Wish List

Victoria's Secret model Miranda Kerr has the sharpest street style of all of the hollywood types and she always wow's me when she steps out of her apartment to attend meetings, go grocery shopping, or even go to the DMV. Last year Miranda won the Best Sidewalk Style award and is already well on her way yo winning it again this year. Here I have three looks for Miranda to wear as she runs around town doing her day to day activities. Up first we have this brown and orange multi pattern Diane Von Furstenberg Fall 2013 RTW flowy dress. This is the kind of dress I could see Miranda pairing with a bronze belt and a rust colored blazer, her orange Alexander McQueen 'Heroine' bag, and pair of brown suede Salvatore Ferragamo Fall 2012 sandals also already in her closet, and of course the required sunglasses. Next we have this autumn tone Jean Paul Gaultier Pre-Fall 2013 patchwork dress. This would be a perfect look for Miranda and her skin and I am praying to see this wish come true. Pair it with her Miu Miu Fall 2012 mustard suede handbag and a pair of beige Prada leather platform cut out slingbacks. And last but not least we have the look that I would most like to see Miranda wear, this amazing Marc Jacobs Fall 2013 RTW maroon sweater and matching sequined skirt would look AMAZING on Miranda. Many would say that this skirt is too flashy for day time but paired with this cashmere sweater and the right accessories this would be the perfect day time look. What are the right accessories? Well searching through items that Miranda already owns I think that the Givenchy 'Antigona' satchel bag and a pair of Tom Ford black velvet and gold snakeskin sandals, and of course a pair of fabulous Stella McCartney retro style sunglasses.

2013 Vanity Fair Oscar After-Party Wish List Part 2

I am keeping Jessica Chastain in the black Elie Saab couture gown that I want her to wear for the ceremony but like Anne Hathaway I am choosing to put her in a much more free flowing party gown for the Vanity Fair Oscar After-Party. As soon as I saw the Gucci Pre-Fall 2013 collection and this amazing black and red plaid chiffon gown I have been DYING to see Jessica Chastain wear it. I think that she is the only person on the face of this planet that could pull of this gown on a red carpet. When choosing a gown for her I always make sure that one needed accessory is not a clutch as she seems to have a phobia of them. Finish this look with black and gold Jimmy Choo sandals and simple jewels will allow Jessica to shine in this statement making dress.
There were not many looks in the Marc Jacobs Spring 2013 RTW collection that I really liked or loved but this amazing black and white striped gown would look amazing on the always stunning Kate Beckinsale. Last year Kate won the Best Promo tour for 'Total Recall' and narrowly missed out on the Red Carpet Diva of the Year award and I am hoping to see her bring her divaness to the Vanity Fair Oscar After-Party next Sunday night. I would finish this look with a black Jimmy Choo tube clutch, her got to (even thought I really wouldn't recommend them) Salvatore Ferragamo pumps, and some bold emerald jewels to complete this amazing look.
Kerry Washington is my second diva that I am choosing to put in black and white for the 2013 Vanity Fair Oscar After-Party. I think that this simple black and white goddess draped Marchesa Pre-Fall 2013 gown would be an amazing option. Kerry either goes very fashion forward or very classic and I think for Hollywood's biggest night that she should go for classic. To add a little flair to this classic gown I would pair this look with a Marchesa Spring 2013 clutch based on a deep red fringe gown, silver Christian Louboutin 'Lady Max' sandals, a pair of diamond cluster earrings, and a diamond cocktail ring.
Zoe Saldana finishes out the trifecta of black and white looks for the 2013 Vanity Fair Oscar After-Party. Zoe is another lady that for the ceremony I have wished that she will wear a very large gown and I think that it is highly likely that she will change as she has in the past. Zoe usually sticks to the same designer that she has worn to the ceremony. Since I have picked a stunning pink ladypant ballgown, red carpet lady pants are my favorite new trend for fall, I have given her this much more graphic black and white chiffon gown with silk pants for the after parties. I would add a black waistband to this just to define Zoe's waist. Finish this look with a black Marchesa clutch, black Christian Louboutin peep toe pumps and simple stunning diamonds and Zoe has another winning Oscar night look!

2012 Emmy Awards: Ginnifer, Kerry, and Nina

Ginnifer Goodwin is the first female presenter announced for the 2012 Emmy Awards. I always look forward to seeing the the 'Once Upon A Time' actress brings to the red carpet as she has a very avant garde style. Her style is why I have decided to dare to put her in this Marc Jacobs Spring 2013 RTW gown with metallic stripes and a fringe style skirt insipid by the Roaring 20's. I love this gown and think that it would look absolutely amazing on Ginnifer. I feel that this gown will be quite controversial when it comes to critics. Pair this with a gold Edie Parker clutch and some black peep toe pumps and she will shine like the statue that she will be handing out.
Kerry Washington will no doubt be in attendance at the 2012 Emmy Awards as she was one of the two people that gave the announcements of the nomonations and those that do that usually attend the event if not present. While she has not been announced as a presenter as of yet I am still looking forward to seeing what she ends up wearing. I would love to see her wear this fully embellished lime green Armani Prive Spring 2012 Couture gown. While Kerry has never worn the brand before aside when she attended the designers couture presentation. I think that the color would look amazing on her skin tone and pair it with just a simple pair of gold strappy sandals and Kerry's winning diva attitude and she would make this possibly overwhelming gown work for her.
Last but not least for this post we have Nina Dobrev. The 'Vampire Diaries' star has attended the Emmy Awards for the past two years, and her red Donna Karan gown from 2011 won her a spot on both mine and the readers choice best dressed list of the year last year. I am hoping that she wow's me again like she did last year and many times this year. I think that her new love of Elie Saab designs is an amazing bond and that this teal Elie Saab Fall 2012 Couture gown would be perfect for the star. I think that this would complement her skin and her hair color. Pair it with a gold Edie Parker clutch and a pair of gold strappy sandals, yellow Chopard chandelier earrings and matching bracelet.
