2016 Oscar Parties Red Carpet Wish List Part 3

A person I would love to see on the Vanity Fair Oscar Party red carpet is the ever beautiful Christina Ricci. A red carpet appearance by Christina is something that is far and few between but when she does they are always great red carpet moments. I would love to see Christina wearing this black Ashi Studio Spring 2016 Couture strapless high-low embroidered ball gown. I think that this is a high impact classic glam look that Christina would rock on the red carpet with ease. A black clutch, black strappy Christian Louboutin sandals, a chic updo, red lips, and a pair of dazzling emerald and diamond earrings would just punctuate this perfect red carpet ensemble.

Kate Bosworth is always a favorite of mine when she steps out on the red carpet. The pink Dolce & Gabbana gown she wore on the red carpet at the Golden Globes is something I will be remembering at the end of the year, that is unless something even more major comes around. Last month when Bertrand Guyon presented his Spring 2016 Couture collection for Schiaparelli Kate was perched ever so perfectly front row, undoubtedly scouting out potential looks for Oscar night. I believe that Kate would look absolutely stunning wearing this draped cherry printed gown from that collection would make for a perfect look for the Vanity Fair Oscar Party. Keep things very classic glam with a chic updo, red lip, silver pumps, a pair of diamond drop earrings, and a red Edie Parker clutch so that Kate has an absolutely stunning red carpet ensemble.

Natalie Portman usually steps out on the red carpet for the Vanity Fair Oscar Party and I am hoping that will be the case come this years red carpet. The Miss Dior perfume spokesmodel will for sure be wearing Dior for the carpet and I would love to see her wear this blue Christian Dior Spring 2013 Couture strapless cocktail dress. Most will wear a gown on this red carpet, and Natalie normally does, but I think that this dress would make for just a glamorous a statement as a gown would. Styled with a pair of black sandals, a silver Dior clutch, a chic updo, and a pair of diamond drop earrings this would be one of my favorite red carpet looks from Natalie.

 Selena Gomez is no stranger to movie awards show after parties having been to Golden Globes and Oscar parties many times in the past and I am hoping that the songstress will be out in her full glam style at the Vanity Fair party. While a gown is most likely what Selena would wear I would love for her to take on this sexy black Atelier Versace Spring 2016 Couture suit laced together with a handmade Swarovski crystal lace. We have been seeing Selena go for very sexy looks in her performances and music videos but still mostly goes for sweet looks on the red carpet and I am hoping that she will start giving us sexy looks on the red carpet too. This suit would do just that, give Selena a sizzling glamorous red carpet ensemble. A pair of black Christian Louboutin pumps, a black clutch, sexy waves, a pair of diamond cluster earrings, and a red lip would ensure that Selena gives me a major wow on the Vanity Fair red carpet.

I was very excited to read that Zoe Saldana is a chair of the Elton John AIDS Foundation Oscar Viewing party. Zoe has been one of my favorite red carpet ladies and I am excited to see what she will wear on the red carpet on Oscar night. I would love to see Zoe wearing this red and black Altuzarra Pre-Fall 2016 flapper dress. Zoe is a major movie star and one of the few that could get away with wearing this dress on the red carpet at the Elton John party where an evening gown is almost required. A pair of strappy black sandals, a black Edie Parker clutch, a wavy faux bob, and a pair of gold set diamond drop earrings would finish this look off perfectly for the red carpet.

2015 Academy Awards: Naomi, Nicole, Sienna & Zoe Wish List

I am excited to see Naomi Watts on the red carpet at the Academy Awards on Sunday night where she is going to be on hand as a presenter. I love seeing Naomi because I never know what she is going to show up wearing. I am hoping that she goes with classic ladylike glamour wearing this purple embroidered Oscar de la Renta Fall 2015 RTW strapless ballgown with an exaggerated sweetheart neckline. I absolutely loved what Peter Copping did for Oscar de la Renta, it was truly like Oscar had his hands in this collection and I am in love. He hasn't come in a taken the house in his own direction, a la Heidi Slimane and Raf Simons, but really infused his talents into the core beliefs of the Oscar de la Renta legacy. Naomi doesn't do dark and brooding looks very often and I think that this gown would just be fabulous on her. Finish the look with a chic up do, a red lip, a black Edie Parker clutch, a statement diamond necklace and a pair of black sandals and Naomi will slay the Oscars red carpet.

It has been either love or loathe when it comes to what Nicole Kidman has been wearing on the red carpet. I am hoping that she gives me a major moment when it comes to the Academy Awards on Sunday night. Despite the fact that earlier this month Nicole had a major white moment, in Valentino Couture at the Berlin Film Festival, I would still love to see her wear this white double silk georgette Elie Saab Spring 2015 RTW which features a jewel neckline with allover beaded embroidery and draped panels that cascade over the shoulder. I think that this is a dramatic gown that needs a woman with presence to pull it off and I think that Nicole really has that presence. I would add a pair of diamond and colored stone earrings, forgo a clutch, throw on a pair of white peep toe pumps and finish off with a red lip to ensure that this is a dramatic best dressed moment on the red carpet.

Sienna Miller is going to be a busy woman. She will be performing on Broadway in "Cabaret" on Saturday night in New York City and then will be running to catch a red eye flight to LA to fulfill her duties as a presenter at the Academy Awards on Sunday. I am hoping that Sienna will champion a British designer on the Oscars red carpet. While it is more likely that she would wear a custom gown from the likes of Burberry or Alexander McQueen I would love to see Sienna wear this strapless coral Roksanda Pre-Fall 2015 gown rendered in silk wool blend and features a fitted A-line silhouette with micro-pleating details along the hem. I think that Sienna would be the perfect woman to bring Roksanda into being a household name with this gown on the Oscars red carpet. Finish the look with a statement necklace, a gold Edie Parker clutch and a pair of crystal embellished gold Miu Miu sandals and Sienna will hold her own on the tops of best dressed lists.

I am hoping that that Academy Awards on Sunday night sees Zoe Saldana back to her best. I have missed the amazing Zoe that I fell in love with on the red carpet during her pregnancy. I think that this white Jason Wu Fall 2015 RTW halter gown with a keyhole and thin black belt would be an amazing red carpet moment for Zoe. This might be too simple for most as an Oscars dress, especially for a high profile presenter, but I think that this would come as a welcome surprise. Finish the look with a pair of dazzling cluster earrings, an Edie Parker clutch, a pair of black Stuart Weitzman 'Nudist' sandals and a bold red lip and Zoe will have a welcome red carpet return come the Oscars.

Runway Report: Alexis Mabille Fall 2014 Couture

 Alexis Mabille is always a light spot on the day. You know exactly what you are going to get when you see his collection. Classic glamour. This season was no different. Luxurious gowns, a couple structured cocktail dresses, and perfectly tailored separates made this the ultimate collection. But to be honest all of the staples of a great wardrobe were addressed in this collection and it would be the ultimate couture closet.

Runway Report: Oscar de la Renta Resort 2015

With a very successful Met Ball behind him Oscar de la Renta moved forward with the flow of fashion presenting an absolutely stunning Resort 2015 collections. The collection has got to be one of my favorites from Oscar in a very long time. It melds the classic Jackie O signature style of the Oscar de la Renta brand with hip modern youthful elegance. I love the way that Oscar tailors his clothing and makes it so women of all ages can be sophisticated. I can see women of all ages and backgrounds falling in love with pieces of this absolutely stunning collection, from first ladies to pop stars. Black, white, raspberry, gold, navy, red, and pink all make their color marks alongside classic and graphic floral prints and color blocking. As with most Oscar de la Renta collections this collection is bound for the red carpets of premieres, galas, and political functions across the world.

Runway Report: Sally Lapointe Fall 2014 RTW

Sally Lapointe looked to the blackbird for her Fall 2014 RTW collection shown at Skylight Modern on Friday during New York Fashion Week. The collection worked with shades of blue, black, grey, purple, and gold and had a very uptown meets downtown approach. Chic sleeveless sweaters with oversized turtlenecks were paired with structured leather skirts and Gio Diev for Sally Lapoite pointed toe ankle boots. The music and space really stood out as a play of hard against the softness of the collection. While I was kind of disappointed that the woman put on the map by Lady Gaga showed a tame collection it was still one of the favorites that I saw in my time in NYC!

Runway Report: Armani Prive Spring 2014 Couture

Giorgio Armani turned to shades of silvers and blues for his Armani Prive Spring 2014 Couture collection. The 52 look collection, that consisted mostly of red carpet ready gowns and silk jacket/pant combos, really spoke to this glamour and play on light and dark. The collection is entitled 'Nomad' by Mr Armani and I can totally see this collection being the wardrobe to a very sophisticated gypsy woman who roams the world adding items from her many travels. There are very European silhouettes paired with beading that would not be out on Byzantine architecture. I am sure that we will be seeing quite a few of these gowns on Oscar night! Which ones? Only time will tell. Will Cate Blanchett, the face of the fragrance 'Si' by Armani, wear a look from this collection on Oscar night? I can see a a bevy of international beauties wearing this collection including Zhang Ziyi, Hilary Swank, Margot Robbie, Zoe Saldana, Blanca Suarez, Milla Jovovich, Eva Riccobono, Michelle Dockery, Stacy Keibler, Keira Knightley, Michelle Yeoh, Jessica Chastain, Julianna Margulies, Fan Bingbing, Celine Dion, Paz Vega, Rihanna, Kate Beckinsale, Naomi Watts, Elizabeth Banks, Kristin Scott Thomas, Lucy Liu, Reese Witherspoon, Penelope Cruz, Emily Blunt, Alicia Keys, and Eva Mendes just to name a few. Seated front row to take in the collection as it took to the runway was Paloma Faith, Kristin Scott Thomas, and Zhang Ziyi. Which gowns do you want to see at the Academy Awards? Runway Report: Giambattista Valli Spring 2014 Couture

Giambattista Valli really serves to a new type of couture client, the young cool billionaires wife. The Giambattista Valli Spring 2014 Couture collection featured ultra sexy mini's and glam gowns that I am absolutely ecstatic to see take to the red carpet. Valli really turned up the 60's glam with sleek looks and loads of embellishments. I get truly appreciative of these creations when I watch the runway videos and see all the of patterns made of of sequins, crystals, paillettes, and stones. The work that all of these frocks are handmade and the patterns are hand laid and sewn onto the frocks. With mint, a bevy of pinks, blue, white, ivory, black, and yellow all taking up the brights colored palate that evokes Italy in the 1960's. Amy Adams, Berenice Bejo, Zoe Saldana, Cate Blanchett, Diane Kruger, Marion Cotillard, Emma Stone, Emilia Clarke, Gwyneth Paltrow, Jessica Alba, Jessica Chastain, Emma Watson, Kate Bosworth, Sienna Miller, Lupita Nyong'o, Olivia Wilde, Scarlett Johansson, Nina Dobrev, Paz Vega, Freida Pinto, Naomie Harris, and Zhang Ziyi are all among the women that I can see wearing this couture collection. 2014 Golden Globe Awards: Everyone Else Wish List Part 3

 Really late last night over here on the east coast of the United States the Hollywood Foreign Press Association announced that Amber Heard is going to be amongst the presenters tomorrow night at the 2014 Golden Globe Awards. I am so excited to see what the bombshell sexpot will wear on the red carpet for this event. This grape purple gown from the Oscar de la Renta Pre-Fall 2014 strapless gown with hot pink lining is an absolutely perfect look for Amber for this event. This Oscar de la Renta collection was inspired by vintage Cecil Beaton photographs of fashion by American couturier Charles James. This is the perfect way to bring that vintage glam via a modern route. I would finish this look with the runway pink satin clutch, a pair of simple black Saint Laurent sandals, and a dazzling pair of drop earrings in Amber's ears to complete the perfect look for the Golden Globe Awards tomorrow night.

 Anne Hathaway is the only woman that took home an acting award last year at the 2013 Golden Globe Awards that hasn't been confirmed to return to the event to present this year. I am remaining hopeful because on the fifth was the last time the paparazzi snapped a picture of the actress she was arriving at LAX Airport on January 5th. I am praying that she will take to the red carpet and kinda give me the red carpet moments I was really dreaming of her giving me last year. I think that this girly pink Monique Lhuillier Spring 2014 RTW gown is very bohemian chic and extremely feminine, which is exactly what Anne Hathaway loves in a red carpet gown. I would just pair this gown with some simple jewels and a pair of silver sandals to keep the look as simple and glamorous as possible.

 'Game of Thrones' has really jettesoned Emilia Clarke onto the major red carpet scene as she always steps out and wow's me on the red carpet sometimes in simple ensembles and sometimes in extremely avant garde designs. The moment that Emilia was announced as a presenter for tomorrow nights Golden Globe Awards I knew that I would die if she wore this shell pink Vivienne Westwood Spring 2014 RTW gown. This gown is a classic, architectural, sculptural design from the Westwood house but I am absolutely in love with this gown even though it seems like something that we have seen a million times from the house. A gold minaudiere, a pair of dazzling gold sandals (as they will be visible), and some simple jewelry will complete this amazing red carpet moment for Emilia.

 When the Hollywood Foreign Press Association announced that Emma Stone was going to be among the presenters at this years Golden Globe Awards tomorrow night I might have let out the slightest of fan girl squeals. Emma has always been one of my favorites on the red carpet and unfortunately we did not see a whole lot of Emma last year. This year though I am sure that we will be seeing a lot of her due to her press tour for 'The Amazing Spider-Man 2,' as well as several other projects that will be premiering throughout the year. I hope that she will be starting the year off with a bang tomorrow night. This red and pink color blocked Antonio Berardi Spring 2014 RTW gown is something that not many can pull off and Emma Stone is one of them. Emma usually brings the whole package to the red carpet and I would finish this look with a simple red satin clutch, a pair of red Salvatore Ferragamo peep-toe satin pumps, slicked back hair, and a red lip will make this a a perfect look for the Globes.

 Kate Beckinsale is one of the ULTIMATE red carpet divas and I am really excited to see what she will wear as she takes to the Golden Globe Awards red carpet tomorrow night as a presenter. This white Giambattista Valli Fall 2013 Couture strapless gown with floral embellished peplum would look absolutely amazing on Kate and she would work the hell out of this gown. Kate usually has really good styling and even though I do not think this gown needs a whole lot but some fantastic colored stones in her ears and on her finger as well as a pair of silver Salvatore Ferragamo pumps will be all that this gown needs to finish it off styling wise.

And last but not least we have our last wish for the 2014 Golden Globe Awards! A sad moment, I know, but we have a jam packed first half of 2014 and the wishes will not stop coming. Zoe Saldana was one of the lovely ladies who helped announce the nominations for the Golden Globes last month and I am excited to see what she wears tomorrow night as a presenter. This ice blue Jason Wu Spring 2014 RTW mermaid gown is absolutely stunning. Jason Wu made a gown that mixes this high/low style with high fashion red carpet couture and the one of the few people that I can see wearing this and really making it work is Zoe. Finish the look with a silver clutch, a pair of silver sandals, and some absolutely amazing diamonds in her ears and on her wrist will make this the perfect look for Zoe to wear for the 2014 Golden Globe Awards tomorrow night.

2013 AFI Fest: 'Out of the Furnace' Centerpiece Gala Premiere Wish List

Zoe Saldana, as many of my loyal followers know, is one of my favorite ladies to see take to the red carpet. With the AFI (American Film Institute) Fest coming up and Zoe's film 'Out of the Furnace' as one of the Centerpiece Gala premieres I am really excited to see what Zoe is going to bring to the table. Having helped launch Prabal Gurung's brand on the red carpet back in 2009 during the 'Star Trek' promotional tour wearing a stunning one shouldered red cocktail dress, Zoe and Prabal have developed quite the red carpet collaboration together and I can almost always say that I love what the two do together. For the 2013 AFI Fest premiere of 'Out of the Furnace' I would love to see Zoe wear this lime green Prabal Gurung Spring 2014 RTW tea-length halter dress with a rosette embellished bodice. I think that this would look stunning on Zoe, who always goes above and beyond with her red carpet style. Finish the look with a pair of gold Casadei pumps and Zoe has the perfect look for her red carpet premiere.

2013 Cannes Film Festival: amFAR Cinema Against AIDS Gala Wish List Part 3

Last year Milla Jovovich attended the amFAR Cinema Against AIDS gala wearing a stunning gold Atelier Versace gown. Since the two had such a fantastic paring last year I am wishing to bring the two them back together for this years event on Thursday! This deep purple Versace Fall 2013 RTW gown has been a favorite of mine since it walked the runway adding glamour to the punk inspired collection. This gown needs someone with a diva attitude to pull it off an Milla is definitely one of those ladies who can. Some an amazing pair of Chopard diamond earrings and a bracelet, a silver Swarovski clutch, and a pair of black peep toe pumps would complete this amazing look.

I can not ever recall seeing Nicole Kidman attending an amFAR event but as a member of the jury at this years Cannes Film Festival I am sure that she will be in attendance during the event on Thursday. Since this black and silver Jean Paul Gaultier Spring 2013 Couture gown walked the runway in January I have had it reserved for Nicole and I think that she would just look like an old Hollywood goddess wearing this gown. Nicole has been wearing a lot of rockabilly style hair during this festival but a sleek side parted wavey hair would be the perfect style for this gown. Complete with a pair of simple diamond drop earrings, a silver clutch, and a pair of black sandals from Jimmy Choo and Nicole will be set for her first amFAR gala appearance.

Zoe Saldana has a grand friendship with Prabal Gurung and if she doesn't don a creation for her premiere of 'Blood Ties' today then I am hoping that she will don this red gown from the Prabal Gurung Fall 2013 RTW collection for the amFAR Cinema Against AIDS gala on Thursday. I believe that this gown was made for her and I am praying that she launches the designer into international fame by wearing him for the first time in the history of the Cannes Film Festival. A pair of black sandals, minimal jewelery, and a sleek bun would be the perfect end to this amazing ensemble.

2013 Cannes Film Festival: 'Blood Ties' Premiere Wish List

Last year I also wished for Marion Cotillard to wear a Christian Dior Spring 2010 Couture gown for her Cannes Film Festival premiere of 'Rust & Bone.' Well for her out of competition gala premiere of 'Blood Ties' I would love to see Marion wear this Christian Dior Spring 2010 Couture petal gown inspired by petal gown from the early days of the Christian Dior house. I would love to see this gown on the red carpet as the gowns from this collection were way under utilized on the red carpet. Complete this amazing look with a pair of silver Christian Louboutin pumps and some amazing Chopard diamonds to add some sparkle.

Mila Kunis like I said in the wish for the photocall has been on a red carpet roll so I am really looking forward to her appearance on the red carpet during the Palais de Festivals. This amazing Armani Prive Spring 2013 Couture black, white, and red silk gown would be perfect for this event. After not being chosen as a Met Ball gown I just know that it will make a Cannes appearance and Mila is the girl to make it happen. Add a red Edie Parker clutch, black Christian Louboutin peep toe pumps, pin straight silky hair elegantly draped over one shoulder, and some amazing Chopard diamonds will complete a perfect look for Mila for the Cannes Film Festival premiere of 'Blood Ties.'

Many followers of this blog will recocnize this wish for Zoe Saldana as I have featured it before in her Oscars gown wish. Well I am still holding out hope that Zoe will end up wearing this pink ball gown and pants ensemble from the Giambattista Valli Spring 2013 Couture gown. This is a gown that needs a major stage for it to be worn like the Oscars or the Met Ball and since both of those have passed Cannes is the final moment for this gown to make it on a red carpet. Complete this look with a pair of silver Salvatore Ferragamo satin pumps and some amazing diamond jewelery and Zoe will take the Palais de Festivals by storm for this premiere.

Getting a rare night to just enjoy the film Nicole Kidman will dress up and look fantastic during this out of competition gala screening of 'Blood Ties.' For this premiere I would love to see Nicole wear this amazing purple Jean Paul Gaultier Spring 2011 Couture gown with an ombre tiered tulle train. Since it first walked the runway back in January 2011 I have been wanting to see Nicole in it. Add a pair of black sandals and a back embellished clutch as well as some amazing diamonds provided to Nicole by event sponsor Chopard. I am really looking forward to seeing what she will pull out for this years festival for on and off duty looks.

2013 Cannes Film Festival: 'Blood Ties' Photocall Wish List

The other film Marion Cotillard will be presenting along with 'The Immigrant' is 'Blood Ties' which will be a special out of competition gala premiere during the festival. Like before I have decided to put the Christian Dior spokesmodel in a Dior design. For this photocall I would love to see her wear this charcoal grey Christian Dior Fall 2013 RTW flowy dress. This is a perfect look for a photocall on the French Riviera. Complete this look with a pair of Christian Louboutin 'Pigaresille' pumps and a sleek bun .

Also in 'Blood Ties' is Mila Kunis. The former Oscar nominee has been wowing me on the red carpet wearing designs by Dolce & Gabbana, Atelier Versace, and Alexander McQueen while promoting 'OZ: The Great and Powerful.' I am hoping her amazing style run continues during the festival. For the photocall I would love to see her wear this amazing tone on tone blue Elie Saab Fall 2013 RTW dress. This dress will hug all of Mila's amazing curves and accentuate all her best features. A pair of Brian Atwood 'Aida' sandals and hair worn side parted in tousled waves.

And the final member of the 'Blood Ties' cast is Zoe Saldana. Zoe has been on and off with her best dressed and meh looks as of late and I am hoping that she will be back on top of her game during the Cannes Film Festival this year. For the 'Blood Ties' photocall I would love to see Zoe wear this blue Andrew Gn Fall 2013 RTW ensemble which consists of a silk skirt and a beaded chiffon blouse. Complete this look with a simple pair of black sandals and Zoe will wow me even before she dons a couture gown and walks the carpet at stairs at the Palais de Festivals.

'Star Trek: Into the Darkness' Premieres Wish List

 Coming up we have the promo tour for the much anticipated Star Trek sequel, 'Star Trek: Into the Darkness.' I have compiled three looks for Zoe to wear during the premiere tours of this film. This Louis Vuitton Fall 2013 RTW ensemble is the first look that I would love to see Zoe wear. You can't tell and I wasn't able to find any pictured but this top is backless and is held to the body via the halter and the belt around the waist. This look is not something that many people could pull off and Zoe is one of the few that could and I would love to see her rock this look on the red carpet. Hair pulled back, a berry lip, a Louis Vuitton 'Bijou' minaudière, and navy Louis Vuitton Fall 2013 RTW pumps would complete this perfect edgy premiere ensemble.

 From the moment I saw this grey Marchesa Fall 2013 RTW dress with gold embroidery walk the runway in February I have been mentally holding it for Zoe. I think that this dress would be perfect for the London premiere of this film. London is known for its eclectic style and that is why I think that this dress would fit in on a red carpet there. For her beauty I would recommend that Zoe wear her hair in flowing loose tresses and a light lip. Complete this look with a gold python Marchesa 'Iris' clutch, and statement making aqua Brian Atwood 'Yana' pumps with a gold piping detail. If she does all of this then I know she will rock the red carpet.

Finally I have this gunmetal grey Naeem Khan Fall 2013 RTW gown. I love the simple silhouette of this gown, which is reminiscent of something very 90's, with the modern sequin patterns. I think that this simple silhouette is perfect for Zoe who has a banging body that could rock just about anything. Complete this look with a steel pearlescent Edie Parker 'Jean 06' clutch with a silver confetti frame and a pair of black satin and crystal Jimmy Choo 'Damek' strappy platform sandals, as well as a pair of dazzling Fred Leighton earrings and Zoe will be an absolutely amazing red carpet moment.
