On Friday night Dakota Fanning's newest film "Franny," which co-stars Richard Gere & Theo James, will premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival. I love Tribeca because the stars just show up "laid back." Well I kinda want to see Dakota look a little more than laid back on the Tribeca red carpet wearing something other than nude or black. I would love to see Dakota wear this Mardi Gras colored Rodarte Fall 2015 RTW striped sequin sleeveless knee length dress. Dakota always looks fantastic in the Mulleavy sisters creations and I think that this would no doubt be one of her best looks in recent appearances. This look is all about the color. I would even see this look with nice combed hair down, a black clutch and a pair of black Stuart Weitzman 'Nudist' sandals to ensure that Dakota rocks the red carpet at the Tribeca Film Festival.

2014 Tribeca Film Festival: 'Loitering With Intent' Premiere Wish List

Marisa Tomei will be taking to the 2014 Tribeca Film Festival to premiere her film 'Loitering With Intent.' Marisa is always touch and go for me on the red carpet. For this premiere I think that this deep hunter green J. Mendel Fall 2014 RTW long sleeve leather dress would be absolutely perfect for this red carpet. An edgy yet sophisticated look is exactly what Tribeca calls for. A black and gold clutch and a pair of black and gold pumps will complete this look for Tribeca.

2014 Tribeca Film Festival: 'Life Partners' Premiere Wish List

We haven't seen that much from Leighton Meester on the red carpets since the conclusion of 'Gossip Girl.' During the 2014 Tribeca Film Festival, the recently married, Leighton will make an appearance to premiere her new film 'Life Partners.' Leighton has recently partnered with the uber chic stylist Ilaria Urbinati, who dresses the likes of Nina Dobrev, Bradley Cooper, & Shailene Woodley. The two have had a few moments together but nothing as high profile as Tribeca, so I am sure there will be a top notch ensemble on the back of Mrs. Meester for this red carpet. I am picking this forest green Thakoon Pre-Fall 2014 draped jumpsuit, sands the light blue oxford that it was paired with in the look book. I would pair this look with a statement necklace, a simple gold Diane von Furstenberg clutch, and a pair of simple gold platform sandals to give Leighton the perfect look for Tribeca.

2014 Tribeca Film Festival: 'Every Secret Thing' Premiere Wish List

At the end of last year Dakota Fanning wowed as she made the rounds around the world promoting her film 'Night Moves.' Dakota tends to favor looks that are devoid of any color, nude and white, way to often, but during that tour Dakota wore silver, red, and bold blue. I am  hoping that Dakota will keep up her amazing red carpet run with this dusty rose to black ombre long sleeved tunic and dusty rose mini skirt. I love this ensemble and I am hoping that Dakota gets her hand on it for the 'Every Secret Thing' premiere during the 2014 Tribeca Film Festival. A pair of black peep toe pumps and a black clutch will finish off this perfect look for Dakota.

2014 Tribeca Film Festival: 'Chef' Premiere Wish List

Coming off an extremely awesome press tour for 'Captain America 2: The Winter Soldier' Scarlett Johansson will take to the red carpet in New York City for the 'Chef' premiere during the 2014 Tribeca Film Festival. Her baby bump will most likely be a little bit more visible come this red carpet and it will be a delight to see how she dresses it. If her 'Captain America' tour says anything ScarJo will embrace the bump and have it on display for the world to see. I think that this white Ralph Lauren Fall 2014 RTW one cape shouldered dress. This dress is elegant and I think would look amazing on Scarlett. Hair pulled up, a red lip, and gold sandals would finish off this look

Co-star Sofia Vergara knows how to bring the overtly sexy to the red carpet, but I am hoping that stylist Rachel Zoe helps Sofia tone down the sex and bring an elegant look to this red carpet. For the 'Chef' premiere I think that this dark teal Zuhair Murad Fall 2014 RTW fitted dress with a batwing sleeve. I think that this dress would look elegant with a hint of sexy for Sofia's red carpet appearance. A pair of simple black satin Brian Atwood peep-toe pumps and a silver clutch will give Sofia the perfect look for the Tribeca Film Festival.

2014 Tribeca Film Festival: Black Coal, Thin Ice' Premiere Wish List

Gwei Lun Mei worked the red carpets at the Berlin Film Festival back in February whilst promoting her film 'Black Coal, Thin Ice.' I am hoping that she continues to bring best dressed worthy looks as she continues promoting this film at the Tribeca Film Festival later this month. Having seen Gwei wear Burberry, Saint Laurent, and Valentino in Berlin I am hoping that we see the Chinese film star rock an American designer for this premiere. The black and pink layered 3-D floral top and matching cigarette pants from the Prabal Gurung Pre-Fall 2014 collection would be an amazing statement for the stunning Asian beauty to make on the red carpet. I would keep the styling of this look really simple picking a pair of Stuart Weitzman 'Nudist' sandals in black, a sleek up-do, and a pink lip to keep this look perfectly for the red carpet.

Aubrey Plaza has a very love it or hate it red carpet style and I am hoping that when it comes to her premiere of 'About Alex' during the 2014 Tribeca Film Festival this month that she gives me a look that I am able to fall in love with. I think that this peachy cream Nina Ricci Fall 2014 RTW long sleeved dress with dark raspberry floral details would be a perfect choice for this premiere. The Tribeca Film Festival is one of the most laid back of all the festivals, which is why I picked this Nina Ricci dress. At most other festivals this dress would never see the premiere just the films photocall. Finish this look with neutral makeup, a sleek bob, and a pair of matching Casadei 'Blade' dark raspberry satin pumps and Aubrey will have the perfect look for Tribeca.

2013 Tribeca Film Festival: 'The Reluctant Fundamentalist' Premiere Wish List

'The Reluctant Fundamentalist' has had premieres at the Venice Film Festival, Toronto International Film Festival, and the London Film Festival. The final installment of the promo tour for this film will be a premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival. For this premiere I would love to see her wear this grape and taupe Roland Mouret Pre-Fall 2013 RTW ensemble. While this look is would only be photocall appropriate during Venice, Toronto, or Cannes for Tribeca this would fit in perfectly on a premiere red carpet. Finish with a pair of black pumps and Kate will look absolutely amazing.

2013 Tribeca Film Festival: 'The English Teacher' Premiere Wish List

Julianne Moore wowed this year during awards season wearing two of her go to brands, Tom Ford and Chanel. I am surprised that she didn't wear a Lanvin creation throught the span of the parties and awards shows that she attended. Because she didn't wear a Lanvin creation I am sure that within her next few red carpet appearances that she will. For the premiere of her new film 'The English Teacher' during the Tribeca Film Festival I would love to see her wear this blue, green, and white floral Lanvin Fall 2013 RTW dress. Lanvin comes up with a print every season that becomes a red carpet sensation and I think that this will be and I am hoping that Julianne is the first to get her hands on it. Finish with a pair of black satin pumps and and old Hollywood waves would complete this look.

Lily Collins is also in this film and I am sure that she will make an appearance during the Tribeca Film Festival premiere of this movie. I would love to see her do so wearing this black Marchesa Fall 2013 RTW with sheer sleeves and floral embroidery. This dress is the commercial version sold in pre-order from Moda Operandi inspired by the much more embroidered runway version. I think the runway version is too much for this event this scaled back creation is what should be worn by Lily for the Tribeca Film Festival. Complete this look with a pair of black peep toe pumps and a slicked back pony tail for a best dressed list worthy ensemble.

Naomi Watts wowed during awards season and I am hoping to see her continue to wow me during the Tribeca Film Festival. Naomi will be premiering her latest film 'Sunlight Jr.' during the festival and I am excited to see what she brings to the red carpet. For the more casual film festival I would love to see Naomi wear this Louis Vuitton Fall 2013 RTW ensemble. This look which consists of a seafoam short sleeve cardigan paired with a white silk printed skirt with lace accents. This is a sophisticated casual look perfect for the Tribeca Film Festival. Complete this look with side parted old Hollywood waves, pink lips, and a pair of Jimmy Choo 'Abel' pointy toe pumps in nude and champagne ombre and Naomi will win a spot on the best dressed lists.

Last May Emmanuelle Devos caught my eye during the Cannes Film Festival. The French actress was a jury member of the Feature Film Jury at the Cannes Film Festival alongside Diane Kruger. Now while Emmanuelle did not have the crazy showstopping couture gowns that Diane wore but she did wow in a spectacular wardrobe provided to her by Elie Saab. For the premiere of her film ' Just a Sigh' during the Tribeca Film Festival I am hoping that the two continue their relationship and she wear this navy blue Elie Saab Fall 2013 RTW blouse and pant ensemble. Tribeca is a very laid back film festival with a dress code somewhere between Sundance and Toronto. This look paired with a pair of black satin pumps is perfect for Emmanuelle for this type of premiere.

2013 Tribeca Film Festival: 'Byzantium' Premiere Wish List

Saoirse Ronan is kinda like the 'IT' girl right now she has had sever films debuting lately and 'Byzantium' is her latest that will premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival. For the New York City based trendy festival I would love to see Saoirse wear this canary yellow Andrew Gn Fall 2013 RTW dress. This dress is classic and edgy which is a perfect look for this festival. I would keep the pop of green in the belt which whoever gets their hands on this dress will probably remove. Keeping the green theme I would add a Christian Dior green stone mosaic clutch and a pair of black satin sandals to complete this look.

Emma Roberts has been off the radar for a while now and her latest film 'Adult World' is a big step out of her 'Nancy Drew,' 'Hotel For Dogs,' and 'Unfabulous' days. The film which will debut at the edgy Tribeca Film Festival in New York this month is a story of' "a recent college graduate who believes she's destined to be a great poet, instead winds up working for an adult book store."For the release of this film I would love to see Emma wear this blue chiffon Alberta Ferretti Fall 2013 RTW top and velvet skirt. This is very much a more casual film festival and this Alberta Ferretti look is perfect for this premiere. Finish the look with a a pair of navy blue pumps and Emma will fit right in at the Tribeca Film Festival.
