Emmy Awards Wish List: Tina Fey (30 Rock)

I am always hoping for drama from Tina Fey and this Oscar de la Renta Resort 2012 wish for her to wear to tonights Emmy Awards is just freaking fantastic. I love the black tulle ruched and feathered over the nude base. Tina is a huge fan of Oscar and so she should as he is an impecible dress designer and always puts modern spins on classic styles. To finish this look all Tina needs are some black pumps, no clutch, small diamond earrings, simple diamond bracelet and her hair worn up. 

I hope that you all enjoy tonight's awards ceremony I know I will as I sit with a group of my friends and rip everyone's outfits to shreds (unless they are wearing a gown that I choose for them of course X-D)

Emmy Awards Wish List: Sofia Vergara (Mordern Family)

Colombian beauty Sofia Vergara is like Mariska Hargitay a very lucky lady who gets loaned Carolina Herrera gowns for EVERYTHING. This fact made it easy especially because when I saw this black and white polka dotted and stripped gown I immediately thought of her. The Latin actress always knows how to accessorize a look but my recommendations are either a yellow, hot pink, or red clutch and black peep toe pumps and some killer diamond earrings and an amazing diamond bracelet.

Emmy Awards Wish List: Mariska Hargitay (Law & Order: SVU)

I have chosen a look from Mariska's favorite red carpet go to designer for the 2011 Emmy Awards on Sunday. She is an extremely lucky lady as Carolina Herrera does not lend out gowns to just anyone and she always looks stunning anytime she steps out in one of Carolina's gowns. This gown was my favorite from the Fall 2011 RTW collection. The mix of the aqua and the chocolate brown is one of my favorite color combinations and I think they would look amazing against Mariska's skin tone. To complete this looks I would recommend a bronze clutch and bronze peep toe pumps and no jewelry and to wear her hair up to let the dress do all of the talking because it does a lot without the need for accessories.

Emmy Awards Wish List: Laura Linney (The Big C)

When trying to figure out what I wanted to see Laura wear to the Emmy Awards this Sunday, I thought of one previous look and remembered why I fell in love with that look. It was a yellow Elie Saab Spring 2008 Couture gown. Now why did I love this look so much? Well a) It is an Elie Saab gown (he is my favorite red carpet designer) and b) It is from my favorite collection he has ever done. Now with that said with that said you may be asking why isn't this gown from that collection? Well its because I also love his Fall 2011 Couture collection and the minute I saw this gown when I was doing Emmy wishes I knew that Laura HAS to wear this gown or I will most likely cry my eyes out (NOT LITERALLY). To finish this look off I would just ad a navy clutch and navy pumps. And to ice this look some simple drop earrings with her hair pulled back.

Emmy Awards Wish Lists: Kate Winslet (Mildred Peirce) & Katie Holmes (The Kenedeys)

 I love Kate Winslets love affair with Yves St Laurent, but she has not been looking to good lately so I figured I'd send out this wish and pray she got it. I love when Kate wears blue and I love this print and I think that the shape that the gown has would look amazing on Kate who wears a lot of very tight clothing and I think that this would be a great departure from the norm for her. I would pair this look with matching accessories and as Kate is a HUGE fan of Tiffany & Co. jewels I am sure that whatever she chooses to wear will be paired with amazing diamonds from them.

Now Katie Holmes has not had it right on the red carpet in a VERY long time, like so long that I cant even remember the last time I likes a look that she had on the red carpet. Katie used to wear brands like Armani Prive and Chanel Couture, now it looks like she shops the rack for what she wears on the red carpet. But for this occasion I have decided to be hopeful yet again and wish for Katie to wear this white Chanel Resort 2012 gown. This gown is very simple and I think is still true to Katies style. She should wear her hair up and carry a silver clutch and wear silver shoes on her feet. I dont think she would need anything more than stud earrings to frost this look.

Emmy Awards Wish List: Julie Bowen (Modern Family)

Julie Bowen always hits the TV star go to designers for go to glamour such as Tadashi Shoji, Georges Hobeika, J Mendel, and of course Reem Acra. She always looks so stunning when she hits the red carpet. I have chosen this mint green tierd Reem Acra ball gown for her to wear on Sunday night at the Emmy Awards. To complete this look all Julie needs is a silver crystal encrusted Judith Leiber clutch, strappy silver sandals, diamond chandelier earrings, and a diamond cuff bracelet.

Emmy Awards Wish List: Julliana Margulies (The Good Wife)

Julianna Margulies ALWAYS wears black on a major red carpet I don't remember her ever not wearing black. She also usually goes to her go to designer Narciso Rodriguez. Well I have only stuck to one of her red carpet go tos and that is black. She looks amazing in black. This is one of my favorite Fall 2011 Ready to Wear gowns. It is from the Monique Lhuillier Fall 2011 RTW collection and I have been praying to see it on the red carpet. That wish is slowly dying as the Spring 2012 collections have already started to be showcased and in fashion even though in reality it is current season is now last season. I mean its a GORGEOUS gown and truly deserves a red carpet moment. To spice up this look as best I know Julianna can I would recommend a clutch that has a bright color (Red, Hot Pink, or Aqua) and I know she will resort to the red carpet standard black Salvatore Ferragamo peep toe pumps but I am OK with that because I think the dress does a lot of talking on its own and the bright clutch would bring enough pop to the look. She should finish the look with just a small pair of diamond earrings.
