MET Ball Wish List: Jennifer and Jessica

Jennifer Lopez is THE red carpet diva. I love to see her on the red carpet as she always looks absolutely stunning. I am hoping to see her on the red carpet this May at the 2012 MET Gala honoring Elsa Schiaparelli and Miuccia Prada wearing this absolutely stunning white embroidered Zuhair Murad Spring 2012 Couture long sleeve gown. I think think that Jennifer would look absolutely stunning in this gown, the only issue that I may have for this is the fact that she wore two long sleeve Zuhair Murad gowns on Oscar night. To add a pop of color to this stark sexy white ensemble I would add a turquoise Marchesa stone encrusted clutch, a pair of silver spike detailed Christian Louboutin sandals, and some amazing diamonds. Hair worn up and back and simple makeup are exactly what is needed to finish off this look.

I will say that when Jessica Chastain stepped out in her absolutely stunning black and gold Alexander McQueen gown instead of one designed by Armani Prive, the only designer that she attended a show for during Paris Couture Fashion Week. Well for the MET Ball I would like for her to go to the Fall 2011 (not 2012 that was a typo) Couture collection. I think that between the orange coloring and Jessica's natural orange hair that his would be a winning combination. I have been surprised that to this point that this gown has not seen a red carpet and I am not going to give up hope to see this gown on the red carpet one day. A gold clutch and gold sandals are all that is needed to create a best dressed worthy ensemble.

MET Ball Wish List: Emma & Iman

Emma Stone is one of my absolutely favorite actresses on the red carpet as she also has nice red carpet successes documented in best dressed and I am extremely hopeful that she is going to attend the MET Ball with three films set to come out this year including the much anticipated 'The Amazing Spider-Man.' Emma's favorite designer on the red carpet is Lanvin and for the MET Ball I have decided to pull something for Emma from the newest collection. I chose for her this amazing embellished gunmetal grey Lanvin Fall 2012 RTW dress, there is only one issue with this dress. It is not formal enough. I would have this dress with an exaggerated hip made full length with the embellishments continuing down the full length of the dress. A pair of matching peep toe pumps, clutch, and some dark metal jewelry are exactly what the doctor has ordered to make this look best dressed.

 Iman is always on hand at the MET Ball and always looks absolutely stunning as well. I think that she should wear this stunning Roberto Cavalli Fall 2012 RTW gown. Iman was named in 2010 a Fashion Icon by the Council of Fashion Designers of America and it was well deserved. I think that many will look at this gown on the runway on the iconic supermodel Naomi Campbell and be afraid to wear this gown becuase she wore it on the runway. This could become the ultimate supermodel face-off if Iman were to wear it. A black Judith Leiber clutch, black peep toe pumps, and amazing diamond jewels would just add perfection to something that would already be perfect.

MET Ball Wish List: Diane and Elizabeth

Diane Kruger and Chanel go hand in hand as they always make a great pair on the red carpet which is why I am wishing for her to wear this stunning Chanel Spring 2012 Couture gown. This sailor suit style gown would look absolutely amazing on Diane and I would love to see her wear this. I usually say that I would want this ankle length gown made to be full length, but I feel that if that was done that the charm of this look would be lost. A pair of black and silver sandals, a black Chanel clutch, hair worn loosely up, and some amazing diamond earrings and bracelets and Diane will waltz her way onto the best dressed list.

I have been super excited to see Elizabeth Banks on the red carpet this year (she already has already been on a best dressed list nine times this year). Elizabeth is an unofficial brand ambassador for Versace and wearing both the main line collection as well as the Atelier collection. For the MET Ball I would put Elizabeth Banks in this stunning sculptural lime green Atelier Versace Spring 2012 Couture gown. Elizabeth has worn one dress from this collection already whilst promoting 'The Hunger Games' and looked absolutely stunning, even making my at the time guest editor Sarah's best dressed of the week list (which I have learned is extremely hard). For this look a silver clutch and strappy sandals would be perfect maybe some diamond bracelets.

Jennifer Hudson Premiere Wish List for 'The Three Stooges'

Jennifer Hudson looks amazing on the red carpet especially since she lost all of her weight. I am not so sure that she will attend more than one premiere so I have brought you three options for her to wear for the LA Premiere which is the one that she will most likely be in attendance at. First we have my favorite option, this stunning v necked Julien MacDonald Spring 2012 RTW dress. I think that this would look amazing against Jennifer's skin tone. A pair of silver strappy sandals, a crystal embellished clutch, pin straight hair pulled back, and simple makeup. The second look, a purple and black Prabal Gurung Spring 2012 RTW dress, would hug Jennifer's new curves. A pair of black and purple strappy sandals, not clutch and again pin straight hair worn down are the perfect accessories. Last but not least we have a blood red Maria Lucia Hohan Spring 2012 RTW mini dress. I like this but it is far from my favorite of the three. A pair of gold peep-toe pumps, gold jewelry, and a stunning up-do might make this look a home run for me but it would take a lil bit of convincing.

Sofia Vergara Premiere Wish List for 'The Three Stooges'

I am sure Sofia Vergara will step out for at least one of the major premieres for 'The Three Stooges.' I have taken the liberty of pulling three dresses for her to wear in LA, New York, and London. For the grand premiere in LA I have chosen to put Sofia in this stunning white Georges Chakra Spring 2012 RTW one shouldered dress with a gold hem. I think that this dress is the perfect interpretation of a modern warrior goddess and I die is she wore it with a pair of gold strappy sandals, hair worn down and wavy, with simple makeup. In New York I have decided to put her in a more classic look by choosing this black and white Monique Lhuillier Spring 2012 RTW strapless pencil dress. I think that this dress is a total Sofia dress as it would hug her every curve. Add a pair of black patent leather peep toe Christian Louboutin pumps, a red clutch, wavy locks, and a matte red pout and I am sure she will sex her way onto best dressed. And finally for London I would love to see Sofia in some color by having her wear this stunning orange Badgley Mischka Spring 2012 RTW cocktail dress with an added hip detailing to enhance her curves (as if she actually needs it). A gold clutch and peep toe pumps along with hair pulled back and neutral make-up will having me lust after her ensemble.
