Jennifer Lawrence for the International 'The Hunger Games: Catching Fire' Premieres Wish List

OMG I can't believe that this time is almost here! I am so excited to see what will become of the promotional tour (and the movie) for 'The Hunger Games: Catching Fire.' Jennifer Lawrence has been a loyal Christian Dior spokesmodel for the most part this year only straying a few times in brands like Prabal Gurung, Alexander McQueen, and Stella McCartney. For some of the smaller international premieres (I can see this film going all twilight with like a premiere in every major city across the globe) I have strayed away from picking any Christian Dior looks, I am saving them for the two big premieres in London and LA (wish lists to follow in accordance to their respective red carpet dates!) For the more casual premieres/photocalls I have picked three non-Dior looks that I think would look stunning on JLaw. Up first we have a white Elie Saab Spring 2014 RTW dress with a lace bat-wing blouse. This dress is elegant and feminine without being to girly, which is something that is not within Jennifer's style. She is much more sporty and pulls those looks off with great ease without looking like she is trying to hard. Following that is this amazing J. Mendel Spring 2014 RTW black and white cap sleeved top with a stunning emerald green metallic embroidered skirt. This look screams sporty chic mixed with uptown glamour. And finally I think that this black Lanvin Spring 2014 RTW halter dress would be a safe but elegant choice as it would hug every single one of  Jennifer's curves. Finish the first two looks with the new red carpet standard white pumps and a pair of black or silver sandals for the Lanvin dress and Jennifer will have some perfect looks on her hands. Now on to some evening gowns.
Back before Jennifer was styled by renowned Hollywood stylist Rachel Zoe, she had a few moments wearing Elie Saab and I have to say that I really miss this paring because as most of you know Elie is one of my favorite designers and Rachel never uses his designs on any of her clients. I think that this amazing jade green Elie Saab Spring 2014 RTW gown with a deep plunge and  a waist accentuating belt would look amazing on Jennifer but as of this moment it is just a pipe dream to see her wearing it! Something a little more realistic is this cream Oscar de la Renta Spring 2014 RTW tiered lace column gown. I know I said Jennifer doesn't do girly very well but I do think that this gown is a mix of sporty uptown girl and that Jennifer would look really pretty wearing this design. And finally this navy blue Vionnet Spring 2014 RTW gown with an asymmetrical neckline might just be my favorite wish for her (aside from the J. Mendel ensemble) as it is edgy and sporty and is probably the look that I can most see her wearing and rocking!

2013 London Film Festival: 'The Zero Theorem' Premiere Wish List

I am sure that many do not get my fascination with Tilda Swinton, while most find her extremely unattractive I think her pale milky skin and androgynous face make her unique and gorgeous. She will be premiering two films, neither of which she has actually taken to the carpet to promote as of yet, but I am still hopeful that she will grace the 2013 London Film Festival red carpet to premiere her film, 'The Zero Theorem.' I have never seen Tilda wear a design by Giles, at least not in my realm of knowledge, but I think that this dark painted faces cape gown from the Giles Spring 2014 RTW collection is something that Tilda would just rock and make people fall in love with this look. I will admit that this dress just on the runway repulses me and it would need a very specific wearer and I believe that Tilda is that woman. She should finish the look with black and gold Saint Laurent pumps and a gold clutch and she will have a look that will leave people in shock and awe

2013 London Film Festival: 'The Invisible Woman' Premiere Wish List

With the opening of the 2013 London Film Festival on Wednesday we are drawing to an almost close with just a few more premiere wishes left for the event. One of the red carpet premieres that I am most looking forward to seeing is the 'The Invisible Woman' mostly because I love the two leading ladies. The first is Felicity Jones, who stepped onto the scene in 2011 and garnered a One to Watch award that same year. For this premiere I could see the cool English rose wearing this cream and silver Proenza Schouler Spring 2014 RTW calf length dress. Felicity is a devotee to the Proenza Schouler brand and I can definitely see her being the first to snag a look from the new Spring 2014 RTW collection for this premiere. I would pair this look with a pair of gold pumps and a gold clutch, which is surprising seeing that I do not usually condone the mixing of metals. If she does this she will just ooze effortless cool as she takes to the red carpet at her big premiere.
If anyone will bring the couture glamour to this red carpet it will most defiantly be Kristin Scott Thomas. Sadly when the film premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival, Kristin was not in attendance but I am hoping that the stunning 53 year old actress bring her effortless European glam to the red carpet. I think that she would look extremely elegant wearing this champagne gold Armani Prive Fall 2013 Couture gown with lace bodice (of course it would be much more lined for Kristin.) There isn't a whole lot more I can say about this pair because I think that it mostly speaks for itself. Keep the runway satin pumps, add a gold minaudiere, and simple jewels and Kristin will definitely keep the glam factor going at the London Film Festival premiere of 'The Invisible Woman.'

2013 London Film Festival: 'Locke' Premiere Wish List

At the Venice Film Festival premiere of her film 'Locke' Ruth Wilson, who has caught the attention of several high end brands, was sadly not on the red carpet. While she did not take to that red carpet I am hoping that she will at the films premiere in her home country during the 2013 London Film Festival. For this premiere, which is one of two her film Saving Mr. Banks is closing the festival, I am imagining that Ruth will wear something a little more subdued that she will to the festivals closing. I think that this black embellished Elie Saab Resort 2014 lace gown should be directly in her sights as she chooses what she will wear to grace the red carpet. Finish the look with a black and gold Jimmy Choo 'Tube' clutch and a pair of black satin sandals and Ruth will have the prefect look for the 2013 London Film Festival premiere of 'Locke.'

2013 London Film Festival: 'Under The Skin' Premiere Wish List

ScarJo has been on a roll looking glamorous at all of the photocalls and premieres for one of her latest films 'Under the Skin.' I am sure that this will continue along with the 2013 London Film Festival, where Scarlett will have yet another red carpet to grace to premiere this film. In the past month I have wished for her to wear Atelier Versace, Zac Posen, Marchesa, Emilio Pucci, and Oscar de la Renta while she is out on the Festival Circuit premiering this film as well as her film 'Don Jon.' For this premiere I would love to see Scarlett wear this stunning silver beaded top Elie Saab Fall 2013 Couture gown with a dove grey skirt. I think that this is just a simple evocation of old Hollywood bombshell and that is what Scarlett does best. I think that this gown would just allow her to float down the red carpet turning every head as she does. Finish the look with a silver Salvatore Ferragamo minaudiere, a pair of silver Jimmy Choo 'Lance' sandals, as well as some stunning vintage diamond jewelry and Scarlett will have herself a winning look for the red carpet.
