2014 MTV Movie Awards Wish List Part 2

Jennifer Lawrence is nominated for Best Female Performance in 'The Hunger Games: Catching Fire,' Best Kiss with Amy Adams from 'American Hustle,' Best Fight with Josh Hutcherson and Sam Claflin for their fight vs the Mutant Monkeys in 'The Hunger Games: Catching Fire,' and Best Musical Moment for her rendition of 'Live and Let Die' in 'American Hustle' at the 2014 MTV Movie Awards Because of her 'The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2' schedule Jennifer only attended three awards shows; the Golden Globes, SAG's, and the Oscars; and only one party, the Vanity Fair Oscar Party. And on three of the four red carpets Jennifer rocked Christian Dior, as expected. I figure that JLaw will rock another Dior look come the MTV Movie Awards. This charcoal grey and pearl white Christian Dior Spring 2014 Couture strapless mini dress is something that I can see the 23 year old blonde bombshell wearing. Its fitted yet structured which I think is something that would be just right for Jennifer's athletic build. I would rock this dress with a pair of black Stuart Weitzman 'Nudist' sandals and Jennifer's hair worn down in an elegant pixie style with a simple kohl rimmed eye would complete this MTV awards show perfect ensemble.

Kate Upton will join her 'The Other Women' co-stars Cameron Diaz and Leslie Mann at the 2014 MTV Movie Awards as a presenter. I am hoping that for Kate's first big Hollywood awards show and press tour that we get to see her give us more that just blonde bombshell. This fact is why I picked this Prabal Gurung Fall 2014 RTW long sleeve wrap style dress with a deep plunge and sexy split. I think that this dress is the perfect way to help Kate segway into a fashion girl and not just be a Sport Illustrated model. This dress would hug all of her famous curves and show off all of her best assets. Finish the look with a pair of gold pumps and full bodied blown out hair and a deep red lip will give Kate the rest of the fuel to make this look like something a modern Marylin would wear.

Lupita Nyong'o may already have the most coveted award in Hollywood, an Academy Award, but the Kenyan born actress will be vying for a Golden Popcorn for Best Female Performance in '12 Years a Slave.' What's sad about this nomination is that most likely the performance that Lupita gave in that film will be lost on the MTV voters. None the less I am hoping that the stunning actress will take to the red carpet and look stunning like she did all awards season. I picked this more conservative black and white Lanvin Fall 2014 RTW cocktail dress with a flouncy hem. This is a flirty and fun look that I would love to see Lupita rock. Most of her shorter looks have been curve hugging and I am ready to see a new silhouette from her. Having a love for pointed toe pump I think Lupita will pick a pair for this event, my recommendation to her would be to pair this dress with a pair of metallic royal blue pumps, a matching clutch, and a bold red lip to finish off this ensemble.

And finally for today I am wishing that Breakthrough Performance from 'The Wolf of Wall Street' Margot Robbie will give me a look that wow's again come the MTV Movie Awards April 23th. Having debuted deep chocolate locks in a bland black Saint Laurent gown at the 2014 Academy Awards, I am hoping that come the 13th Margot will have a wow moment. When she was a pretty blonde I never would have picked this deep green Julien Macdonald Fall 2014 RTW sheath dress for Margot, but I think that with her new dark 'do that she would give a great sexy face with this ensemble. A pair of simple black Saint Laurent 'Jane' sandals and a deep gold metallic clutch, hair swept up into a wavy updo, and a fresh face of makeup would give this look everything it needs to work on Margot on the red carpet.

2014 MTV Movie Awards Wish List Part 1

Amy Adams is nominated for Best Female Performance for "American Hustle," Best Kiss with Jennifer Lawrence, and Best Onscreen Duo with Christian Bale at the 2014 MTV Movie Awards on Sunday April 14th. This is the first year that there a a lot of Oscar nominated and winning films and performances nominated for a Golden Popcorn. A very edgy relaxed awards show calls for Amy to put aside her standard lady like style and mix it up with something a little off her normal path. This blue and black David Koma Fall 2014 RTW strapless cocktail dress with awesome color blocked details. I man I do not for see Amy wearing the runway's peep toe ankle boots but a pair of black Casadei 'Blade' pumps and a black Edie Parker clutch, would be the route that I would expect Amy to take. Sleek straight locks and a simple makeup will make for the perfect MTV Movie Awards look.

Cameron Diaz has a big year this year with her rom-com 'The Other Woman' coming out on April 24th, the comedy 'Sex Tape,' and the movie musical 'Annie' both coming out later this year. So I am interested to see what the 41 year old actress will bring out for her red carpets. As a presenter at the MTV Movie Awards with her 'The Other Women' co-stars I think that this Marchesa Fall 2014 RTW cocktail dress with a black and gold embroidered cap sleeve top and gold draped lame skirt would be a perfect pick for the fun awards show. Cameron loves to show off her perfect legs and this is the right dress to let her do so. Finish the look with a pair of Christian Louboutin black 'Pigalle' pointed toe pumps and a selection of neutral tone make up will finish off this look for Cameron.

As an unofficial brand ambassador for Versace I have been surprised that we have not seen Elizabeth Banks wear a creation by the house so far this year. At this years MTV Movie Awards Elizabeth is nominated for Best On-Screen Transformation for becoming Effie Trinkett in 'The Hunger Games: Catching Fire.' I am sure that we will finally see Mrs Banks wear a Versace creation for this event. I think that this teal draped dress from the Versace Fall 2014 RTW collection that features gold military buttons is the right choice for EBanks to wear for the big event. A pair of gold sandals that would have some awesome fringe and a gold clutch would finish off this look and give Elizabeth a perfectly sexy yet elegant look for her red carpet appearance at the 2014 MTV Movie Awards.

Jennifer Aniston really does absolutely nothing for me when she takes to the red carpet. She either wears Valentino or Dior on the red carpet and its usually either black or navy. I am hoping that when she takes to the red carpet at the 2014 MTV Movie Awards on April 13th, that she gives me a reason to actually like her look. Nominated for Best Female Performance in "We're The Miller's," Best Kiss with Emma Roberts and Will Poulter, and Best Shirtless Performance, I think that this red Valentino Fall 2014 RTW long sleeved shift dress with an embellished peter pan collar would be the perfect choice for Jen. I think I would give her a best dressed moment just for picking something other than black or navy for this event. Points would be added if she wore simple black Saint Laurent 'Jane' sandals, and even more would be added if she pulled her hair up and out of her face. Basically I am saying Jennifer Aniston if you do a complete style overhaul I can finally like what you are wearing on the red carpet again.

Emma Stone for the 'The Amazing Spiderman 2' Promo Tour Wish List

The Promo Tour for 'The Amazing Spider-Man 2' has already begun and I am super excited. Emma Stone has always been one of my favorites on the red carpet and the fact that the is back to being a red head already makes me that much more antsy for the big premieres to start. The date of the LA premiere of the film has not been announced yet but I am sure that Emma will make a statement on the red carpet. I think that this completely embellished navy blue and silver Armani Prive Spring 2014 Couture spaghetti strap gown would do just that. Emma knows how to make simpler silhouettes make huge impacts on the red carpet. A navy satin Prada clutch, a pair of navy Saint Laurent 'Jane' sandals, and a pair of awesome diamond chandelier earrings will be the perfect accessories for this look. Her hair pulled into a chic romantic updo, a bold red lip, and red nails would finish this look off and give Emma the perfect elegant statement for an LA premiere.

I figure Emma will take more of a statement in London, the home of avant-garde fashion. This powder blue Ulyana Sergeenko Spring 2014 Couture halter dress with a calf length bubble skirt that features a tuxedo inspired neckline and red dots on the hem. This is such a fun dress and I can see Emma making this look work off the runway. A pair of red Charlotte Olympia 'Dolly' satin pumps with a gold platform would be all that I add in the way of accessories for this dress as it is such a statement on its own. Another red lip but this look with a sleek pulled back bun would complete this statement making over the top look for the London premiere on April 10th.

While I am sure that there will be many premieres across Europe and Asia. I am only predicting looks for two premieres that usually get fancier looks. First up, Paris. I think that this goldenrod Marchesa Fall 2014 RTW draped cocktail dress with beaded shoulders would look stunning on Emma. This dress would compliment Emma's rouge hair and look sophisticated and elegant. This is a modern interpretation of the 1920's and I would style it as such. A gold chain handle minaudiere, a pair of gold sandals, hair in finger waves, and simple make-up will finish off this perfect look for Paris.

And last but not least I have a wish for Emma to wear this white Giambattista Valli Spring 2014 Couture long sleeved mini dress at the Berlin premiere of 'The Amazing Spider-Man 2.' This cute mini dress is elegant and sexy and flirty. The assortment of orange and pink florals scattered across the dress are a perfect way to add a youthful edge to this long sleeved lace dress. Fun accessories like pink sandals and an orange clutch would make this look perfect for this red carpet premiere. Her hair worn in a sleek straight bob and a bright pink lip would be the absolute perfect finishing touches for this premiere. I am really excited to see what Emma brings this promo tour. Will she be the Promo Tour Star of 2014? She has some hard company this year so far and to come, so we will see.

'Noah' London Premiere Wish List

Jennifer Connelly has been stunning whilst promoting 'Noah,' from Givenchy Couture at the Mexico City Premiere, Lanvin at the Berlin Premiere, and Giambattista Valli Couture at the Paris Premiere. I am excited for the last few stops in London, New York, and Los Angeles. For the London premiere I would love to see Jennifer keep up her love for couture with this goldenrod Elie Saab Spring 2014 Couture goddess draped chiffon gown. This is gown is one of my favorite looks from this collection and I think that Jennifer would work the hell out of it giving her an ethereal red carpet moment in comparison to the edgy and high fashion ensembles that she has worn thus far. A gold box clutch, a pair of gold strappy sandals, and some stunning yellow diamond chandelier earrings would be the perfect ways to finish off this stunning red carpet moment.

 Emma Watson has been debuting a new edgy look on the red carpet, that I don't think that it has been exactly working for her. The fashion itself has been pretty on point, aside from her Oscars dress, but where I am not vibeing is with her hair and makeup. I think that this overtly sexy aqua blue Alexandre Vauthier Spring 2014 Couture gown which features sexy embellishments and a thigh high split. This is a look that we have never seen from Emma but I think that she could rock it and it would go well with her new style. I am going to say that Emma should rock a simple updo, a red lip, a pair of silver sandals, and some simple sexy diamond jewelry will finish this look off for the 'Noah' London premiere next Monday.

'Divergent' London Premiere Wish List

 Shailene Woodley has gotten herself a new stylist, one of my favorites in fact, to help her through her 'Divergent' promo tour and Ilaria is working wonders on the star who I had written off and someone who I could never love a red carpet look of. Wowing me in back to back Elie Saab creations at the LA and New York premieres of the film I am hoping that we see Shailene work a new brand at the London premiere. I think that this soft lime Giorgio Armani Fall 2014 RTW strapless column gown would be an amazing choice to keep injecting glamour into her red carpet style. With hair styled a little edgy, a simple palette of makeup, a pair of simple silver sandals, and maybe a silver box clutch will make this another impactful look for Shailene.

 Kate Winslet recently gave birth and I applaud her for showing off her post-baby curves at the 'Divergent' LA Premiere but I am hoping to see a softer look from the Academy Award winning actress next Monday at the London premiere of the film. Her LA look was just a little too tight for Kate's silhouette  I think that this berry colored Elie Saab Fall 2014 RTW gown would be a huge statement for the star who does not wear lots of embellishments very often. The overtly sexy slit would be toned down just the way Kate carries her self and the rest of the look is demure which would make for an amazing look. Hair pulled back into an elegant updo, a pair of black peep toe pumps, and a gold clutch would add the perfect finishing touches for this amazing red carpet look.

One person who's look I was surprised to make an impact on the 'Divergent' LA premiere red carpet was Ashley Judd. Ashley had fallen off the circuit and came back with an impactful blue Elie Saab batwing gown and I am hoping that she will be keeping up the glamour in London. This strapless Oscar de la Renta Pre-Fall 2014 purple high-low gown would make another statement on the actress who I can tell is just loving being back in the spotlight. The pop of pink in the lining inspired the pink clutch on the runway and I think that would be a good choice for Ashley to make for the premiere as well but I would switch the lookbook black pumps for a pair of simple black strappy sandals. Very simple hair and makeup will keep the focus on the gown which is a statement in itself.

'Captain America: The Winter Soldier' London Premiere

Having wowed in a black and white Armani Prive cocktail ensemble at the LA premiere and a red Michael Kors suit at the Paris premiere of 'Captain America: The Winter Soldier,' I am hoping for a glamorous gown moment at the London premiere tonight. I think that this dark forest to jade green Elie Saab Fall 2014 RTW long sleeve gown with an asymmetric neckline and thigh high split would be perfect for this occasion. ScarJo has been rocking the best looks during the beginning of her pregnancy and I am hoping that we will get to see a lot more of her through the rest of her pregnancy. This gown would elegant against her burgeoning bump and paired with a simple pair of black Saint Laurent sandals, a red lip, and her blonde locks draped elegantly over one shoulder in Veronica Lake waves will ensure this is the perfect look for the London red carpet.

2014 Academy Awards: Presenters Wish List Part 5

 Tonight is the night! The 2014 Academy Awards is tonight! The biggest night in Hollywood is sure to give some major red carpet moments when the stars start taking to the red carpet in just a few short hours. Among those who will be walking the red carpet, and then presenting later in the evening, is Jessica Biel. Over the past year we really saw Jessica come into a stunning red carpet diva, not once landing on my Worst Dressed list (which she used to frequent). I am hoping that tonight Jessica will keep up her stunning run and this black and green Giorgio Armani Fall 2014 RTW one shoulder gown will do that for her. A black Edie Parker clutch, a pair of black Brian Atwood pumps that feature gold metal detailing on the heel, a pair of gold and emerald drop earrings, and a gold cuff will finish this look off and ensure that Jessica is on the Best Dressed list yet again!

 Scarlett Johansson is on the list of people that will be seen during the 2014 Academy Awards in the television commercials but I have NO idea what she will be doing there as she hasn't been on any of the press releases about the telecast. Either way I would love to see the face of Dolce & Gabbana beauty wear this black satin strapless Dolce & Gabbana Spring 2014 RTW gown with a sequined train. It is a tasteful yet subdued with a touch of 60s Hollywood glamour. If this gown had been around in the time of Grace Kelly I think that she would have snatched it up for the Oscars. Witch Grace as my inspiration for the rest of the look I would pair this look with a black crystal clutch, a pair of black Christian Louboutin crystal embellished sandals, a simple pair of diamond earrings, a statement diamond necklace, and a simple bracelet. And for the beauty a bold red lip, a sleek rolled 60's glam hairstyle, and glowing skin everywhere else will finish off this screen siren look.

And the time has come, the last wish for the 2014 Academy Awards, and the 2014 Awards Season in general. Viola Davis, who has yet to win her own little gold man, will be on hand this evening as a presenter. For tonight I am wishing that Viola will actually wear the gown I would LOVE to see Lupita Nyong'o to wear. This black and white Naeem Khan Fall 2014 RTW gown inspired by the 1920's and 1930's is perfect for the Academy Awards. It is glamorous and grand. Finish the look with an emerald Edie Parker clutch, a pair of black sandals, an emerald and diamond bracelet, and a statement pair of emerald and diamond earrings will complete this look and a pair of bold red lips will be the cherry on top.

2014 Academy Awards: Presenters Wish List Part 4

Naomi Watts has kinda let me down this Awards Season. While playing fashion icon and princess Grace Kelly Nicole Kidman refound her love for fashion, the same can not be said for Naomi who played Princess Diana last year. I am hoping for a jaw dropping moment when Naomi takes to the red carpet at the 2014 Academy Awards on Sunday as a presenter. This black and white 3D embroidered Marches Fall 2014 RTW strapless gown would be a perfect choice for Naomi to make for her red carpet wardrobe. This gown is elegant and odd which I think is something that Naomi loves to work on the red carpet. I would keep the look on the gown by just adding a simple black box clutch, a pair of simple black Saint Laurent sandals, a bold red lip, and a sleek simple up-do so that the emphasis of the look is completely on the gown, which is a work of art.

It has been quite some time since we have seen Penelope Cruz take to the red carpet. Last year Penelope put all of her year into her pregnancy and being a new mom. I am praying for a jaw dropping moment from the stunning Spanish actress come Sunday nights Academy Awards. I think that this silver Oscar de la Renta Fall 2014 RTW silk gown would be the perfect choice for the star who tends to work a very Grace Kelly-esque look when she walks the red carpet. The fitttedness of the gown will show off what is no doubt a banging post baby body while the added train will add the drama needed for the Academy Awards red carpet. A silver Edie Parker clutch, a pair of silver crystal encrusted Rene Caovilla sandals, a pair of stunning earrings and a bracelet from Chopard will finish off this perfect look for Penelope's first post-baby red carpet appearance.

Finally for today I have a wish for one of last years Best Supporting Actress nominees Sally Field, who will be returning to the Dolby Theater tomorrow night as a presenter at the 2014 Academy Awards. The 67 year old actress loves to have fun with fashion and that is something that I admire so much about her. Sally has a perfect body for someone her age and she likes to show off her arms. I am kinda doing that with this J. Mendel Pre-Fall 2014 navy blue gown which features black sheer yoke and sleeves with a floral embroidery. This is a simple gown perfect for Sally as a presenter for the Oscars. I do think that the sleeves need to be hemmed to hit just at the top of the wrist and not half down the hand like it was presented in the lookbook. A black satin clutch, a pair of black satin Salvatore Ferragamo peep toe pumps, and very simple jewelry in Sally's ears will complete this amazing look for her 2014 Academy Awards appearance tomorrow night.
