2015 Peoples Choice Awards Wish List Part 1

Cameron Diaz is nominated for Favorite Comedic Movie Actress at the 2015 Peoples Choice Awards which will take place at the Nokia Theater on January 7, 2015. I have never really been a fan of Cameron as I feel that the 42 year old actress is stuck in a style rut. I do not see her breaking away from this anytime soon so I picked this black Saint Laurent Spring 2015 RTW long sleeved mini which features a gathered detail on one shoulder and a bronzed belt, which is exactly something that would be in her wheelhouse right now. They say you can not teach an old dog new tricks. Finish the look with a red lip and a pair of black Christian Louboutin pumps and you have another stereotypical Cameron Diaz look or the People Choice Awards.

Now that I have passed Cameron I have to say I am less cynical about the rest of the ladies on this list. Chloe Grace Moretz is nominated for Favorite Dramatic Movie Actress and I can not wait to see what the 17 year old actress will wear on the red carpet. This Valentino Spring 2015 RTW candy colored striped shift cocktail dress would be a perfect red carpet look for Chloe. The actress loves to have some fun with her dressing and this is an event where she is able to be cute and have fun. A pair of gold sandals, a pink clutch, and a pink lip would finish this look off perfectly for Chloe.

I am praying that we will see a lot of Emma Stone on the red carpets in the upcoming year. I am hoping that her red carpet campaign will begin at the Peoples Choice Awards next Wednesday where she is nominated for Favorite Dramatic Movie Actress, Favorite Movie Duo, and Favorite Movie Actress. The PCA's are not really an event that comes to mind when I think of couture, but I think that this Armani Prive Fall 2014 Couture red embellished bustier and black silk short ensemble is a perfect look for Emma to wear for this occasion. She would be wearing couture without looking overdressed. A pair of black Christian Louboutin Sandals and a red satin box clutch would finish this look off in an effortless way to ensure that Emma looks amazing and event appropriate.

Favorite Actress in a New TV Series (Gotham) nominee Jada Pinkett Smith is one that I always look forward to seeing on the red carpet. The 43 year old actress defies aging always looking sexy and full of youth. I am excited to see what she will bring to the red carpet come the Peoples Choice Awards next week. I think that this white Versus Versace Spring 2015 RTW tuxedo inspired cocktail dress designed by Anthony Vaccarello which features a black print on one half is the perfect option for Jada to show her sexy side which goes with her "Gotham" character Fish Mooney. I would keep the runways accessories and add a gold clutch to ensure that Jada gives us sexy to the n-th degree.

Jennifer Lawrence falters between a total wow and leading the worst dressed list. I am hoping that at the 2015 Peoples Choice Awards next week that the actress, nominated for Favorite Movie Actress and Favorite Action Movie Actress, will be a WOW. During her "Mockingjay" promo tour some of my favorite non-Dior looks that JLaw showed off were from Mugler designed by David Koma so it was really a no brainier that when I saw this Mugler Spring 2015 RTW ensemble that it would be perfect for JLaw at the PCA's. The ensemble consists of an off-white draped satin blouse and a metallic silver mini skirt. I think that this sporty, modern, and sexy ensemble is exactly what Jennifer needs to get her 2015 off to the right start, we all remember the Dior "Little Mermaid" inspired bed sheet that she started the year off with at the Globes this year and things did not get that much better. Finish the look off with a pair of statement Christian Louboutin sandals, a red lip, and a wavy bob and Jennifer will for sure get that perfect red carpet ensemble.

"Annie" New York Premiere Wish List

Cameron Diaz is not one of my favorites to see on the red carpet. I usually find her very plain, unless she is presenting at a major awards show. I am hoping that when the new, modern take, on the classic Broadway sensation "Annie" premieres in New York City (date and time to be announced) that Cameron will shed the meh red carpet looks that she favors and the dirty styles of her character Miss Hannigan in favor of something more glamorous. This is why I have picked this Christian Dior Spring 2013 Couture strapless silk satin jumpsuit in color blocked ivory and ice blue. This is a modern and sexy yet glamorous and chic ensemble would elevate Cameron on the red carpet several notches than was presented in her "The Other Woman" and "Sex Tape" promo tours this year. A pair of white sandals and a pair of statement diamond drop earrings would be the perfect accessories to keep this look simple. Finish the look with curled hair worn slightly teased and full and a bright pink lip to make sure that the hair and make-up do not let the rest of the look down, as is usually a case with Cameron.

Rose Byrne also stars in this remake of "Annie" as the iconic secretary Grace. I have long been a fan of Rose and her red carpet styles. She knows how to make the right impact at the right time and I expect none the less from her at the "Annie" premiere. This cornflower blue double silk georgette gown from Elie Saab Spring 2015 RTW that is detailed a with fitted bodice with contoured lace inserts, an A-line skirt, and a full length cape creating a dramatic look would make quite the impact on the red carpet. A pair of the matching cornflower blue Elie Saab Spring 2015 RTW strappy sandals that the gown was paired with on the runway, a vintage inspired faux bob, and a red lip finish off what would be a stunning red carpet ensemble for rose for the "Annie" premiere.

"Sex Tape" LA Premiere Wish List

Cameron Diaz has been working the red carpets this year first promoting "The Other Woman" and now starting to promote "Sex Tape." I am excited to see what Cameron will wear for the LA premiere of the film on Thursday evening, especially after her unexpected white one shouldered Roland Mouret cocktail dress at the films Berlin premiere. I would pick this red Alexander McQueen Resort 2015 leather cocktail dress with laser cut floral details on the skirt. This is a sexy and fun look that is kinda out of Cameron's norm but still checks a lot of her norms. Mini skirt to show off her toned legs? Check! Modest top? Check! Leather? Check. Not many starlets can pull off a leather dress but Cameron is one of the few who I believe can. Finish the look with a simple pair of red Stuart Weitzman 'Nudist' sandals, her famous blonde locks pulled back, a red lip, and a gold clutch and Cameron would have the perfect red carpet look for this premiere.

2014 MTV Movie Awards Wish List Part 1

Amy Adams is nominated for Best Female Performance for "American Hustle," Best Kiss with Jennifer Lawrence, and Best Onscreen Duo with Christian Bale at the 2014 MTV Movie Awards on Sunday April 14th. This is the first year that there a a lot of Oscar nominated and winning films and performances nominated for a Golden Popcorn. A very edgy relaxed awards show calls for Amy to put aside her standard lady like style and mix it up with something a little off her normal path. This blue and black David Koma Fall 2014 RTW strapless cocktail dress with awesome color blocked details. I man I do not for see Amy wearing the runway's peep toe ankle boots but a pair of black Casadei 'Blade' pumps and a black Edie Parker clutch, would be the route that I would expect Amy to take. Sleek straight locks and a simple makeup will make for the perfect MTV Movie Awards look.

Cameron Diaz has a big year this year with her rom-com 'The Other Woman' coming out on April 24th, the comedy 'Sex Tape,' and the movie musical 'Annie' both coming out later this year. So I am interested to see what the 41 year old actress will bring out for her red carpets. As a presenter at the MTV Movie Awards with her 'The Other Women' co-stars I think that this Marchesa Fall 2014 RTW cocktail dress with a black and gold embroidered cap sleeve top and gold draped lame skirt would be a perfect pick for the fun awards show. Cameron loves to show off her perfect legs and this is the right dress to let her do so. Finish the look with a pair of Christian Louboutin black 'Pigalle' pointed toe pumps and a selection of neutral tone make up will finish off this look for Cameron.

As an unofficial brand ambassador for Versace I have been surprised that we have not seen Elizabeth Banks wear a creation by the house so far this year. At this years MTV Movie Awards Elizabeth is nominated for Best On-Screen Transformation for becoming Effie Trinkett in 'The Hunger Games: Catching Fire.' I am sure that we will finally see Mrs Banks wear a Versace creation for this event. I think that this teal draped dress from the Versace Fall 2014 RTW collection that features gold military buttons is the right choice for EBanks to wear for the big event. A pair of gold sandals that would have some awesome fringe and a gold clutch would finish off this look and give Elizabeth a perfectly sexy yet elegant look for her red carpet appearance at the 2014 MTV Movie Awards.

Jennifer Aniston really does absolutely nothing for me when she takes to the red carpet. She either wears Valentino or Dior on the red carpet and its usually either black or navy. I am hoping that when she takes to the red carpet at the 2014 MTV Movie Awards on April 13th, that she gives me a reason to actually like her look. Nominated for Best Female Performance in "We're The Miller's," Best Kiss with Emma Roberts and Will Poulter, and Best Shirtless Performance, I think that this red Valentino Fall 2014 RTW long sleeved shift dress with an embellished peter pan collar would be the perfect choice for Jen. I think I would give her a best dressed moment just for picking something other than black or navy for this event. Points would be added if she wore simple black Saint Laurent 'Jane' sandals, and even more would be added if she pulled her hair up and out of her face. Basically I am saying Jennifer Aniston if you do a complete style overhaul I can finally like what you are wearing on the red carpet again.

2013 Vanity Fair Oscar After-Party Wish List Part 1

After seeing all the New York Fashion Week Fall 2013 RTW collections I have changed my wish for Anne Hathaway to wear to the Oscars ceremony and you will see the new dramatic gown in a few days on the 20th. Well the reason she is on the wish list for the 2013 Vanity Fair Oscar Party is that after wearing a big gown (yes the new gown is just as grand and dramatic as the last) I am sure that Anne would love to wear something much less grand to party the night away celebrating her inevitable win for her role as Fantine in 'Les Miserables.' I think that this gilver (a gold and silver mixture) Oscar de la Renta Pre-Fall 2013 beaded fringe gown would be a great pick for the star for the after parties. Jimmy Choo sandals, the matching Oscar de la Renta runway clutch, and simple diamond jewelry would look amazing for the simpler look for the night.

This is a favorite look from the Christian Dior Spring 2013 Couture collection. I am really loving this trend of formal pants for women on the red carpet lately and I think that this couture bustier paired with tapered black pants would be perfect for Cameron Diaz to wear for the Vanity Fair Oscar After Party. I think that this look on Cameron would be able to hold its own and stand out in a see of evening gowns and cocktail dresses. Finish this look with an orange and gold Anya Hindmarch clutch, black peep toe pumps, and simple jewelery to let the statement making look do all the talking and I think I may have my first favorite Cameron Diaz look in a long time.

I have been dying to see this amazing blue star print Jason Wu Spring 2013 RTW gown on Diane Kruger since it first walked the runway in September of 2012. With the new Fall 2013 collection released just last week in New York I am afraid that this gown is going to die and land forever in the Jason Wu archive closet. So I say to Diane that this is really the last chance that I have to see this gown and since she hasn't worn it yet please make all my Spring 2013 dreams come true and wear my favorite gown of the season! A pair of black sandals, a black clutch, and simple jewels will be all that are needed to accessorize this look.

Every year at the Vanity Fair Oscar After-Party Elizabeth Banks puts on her unofficial brand ambassador hat for Versace and wears a stunning dress be it couture, vintage, or ready to wear. This year I would love to see Elizabeth wear this amazing black beaded halter neck Atelier Versace Spring 2013 Couture gown. Now before anyone asks, yes, I do want her to remove those hideous fur epaulettes. They are hideous. Sleek hair, simple diamond jewelry, a black clutch, and black strappy sandals would make me jump up and down for joy.

Emma Stone always wears Chanel to the Vanity Fair Oscar After-Party and I do not think that she should change that as it has been a winning partnership to this point. For this years event I would love to see this amazing white and floral gown from the Chanel Spring 2013 Couture collection. As soon as I saw this amazing gown walk the runway in January I immediately saw Emma Stone wearing it at this event. I am hoping to see this wish come true. Finish the look with a pair of gold sandals and some simple jewelry and I will be falling over with her on this red carpet.

Ginnifer Goodwin usually opts for a cocktail dress when choosing her ensemble for the Vanity Fair Oscar After-Party and I am not going to stray from that. I have chosen to place Ginnifer in this amazing sherbert orange Oscar de la Renta Pre-Fall 2013 gown. I think that this would look adorable on the star who has been a pleasure to see on the red carpet and rarely has a misstep. Finish this look with a gold Oscar de la Renta clutch, strappy gold Jimmy Choo sandals, and vintage Van Cleef & Arpels jewelery with stones to match and compliment the orange dress.

Teen Choice Awards Wish List: Cameron Diaz

Cameron Diaz is a nominee at this years Teen Choice Awards for Choice Actress Comedy for her role in 'What To Expect When You're Expecting.' I take it that the California blonde star will attend the ceremony as she usually does. This year I would kill to see her wear this stunning shimmering salmon Gucci Resort 2013 dress, which would show off one of the stars best features, her legs. I think that this 60's inspired design is totally withing Cameron's styles, so I am hoping that her stylist , the all important Rachel Zoe, pulls this gown for her. Finish thee look off with a pair of sexy gold sandals and a gold Jimmy Choo tube clutch and she is set to go.

Cameron Diaz Premiere Wish List for 'What To Expect When You're Expecting'

The Gucci Premiere (pictured above) was the first thing that Cameron Diaz has worn in an extremely long time that I actually fell in love with. I am hoping that if she steps out to promote 'What To Expect When You're Expecting' that she will actually look amazing.

Stella McCartney is one of Cameron's favorite designers and I would love to see her wear this black and blue Fall 2012 RTW dress. Pair this with a blue pair of pumps and hair pulled back with simple makeup and it would be a great look for the LA Premiere. This amazing black Victoria Beckham Fall 2012 RTW military style dress with gold buttons would look amazing on the star who favors the brand and then add a pair of gold pumps and its a stunning simple look for New York. And last but not least she should wear this white Valentino Spring 2012 Couture dress, she was front row at the show in January and pair it with a pair of gold sandals.

MET Ball Wish List: Cameron and Catherine

I am still waiting for Cameron Diaz to don Armani Prive since she was seen sitting front row at the Spring 2012 Couture presentation and what would be a better venue than the MET Ball. With two movies set to release this year Cameron is a good contender to be a guest of Vogue at this years event. I think that this digital snake print gown would look absolutely stunning on Cameron. The green color is perfect for Cameron's light skin and hair. A black clutch and some black peep toe pumps would be the perfect subtle accessories to let this stunning avant garde gown.

Catherine Zeta Jones is a stunning woman and I think that she looks good in these ice colored gowns. One of her favorite designers is Elie Saab and so I decided that I am going to mix the two things and put her in this ice blue embellished Elie Saab Spring 2012 Couture gown. I would again just add a blue bustier under the dress so that the sheer illusion of the top is not lost through lining but she is still demure. A silver Judith Leiber crystal encrusted clutch and a silver pair of strappy sandals. Some amazing diamond earrings and flowing hair would look absolutely stunning and finish off this absolutely stunning ensemble.

2012 Oscar Presenter Wish List: Angie, Cameron, Halle, Jenny, Kristen, and Rose

 And the ball starts rolling today. The biggest night in fashion the 2012 Academy Awards is set to take place in just two short weeks, and the Academy has been busy releasing the names of celebrities set to present at this years ceremony. Angelina Jolie was no doubt going to attend as her long time boyfriend Brad Pitt is nominated for Best Actor in a Leading Role. The stunning starlet who tends to favor black should turn to the Elie Saab Fall 2011 Couture runway for her gown for this years awards ceremony. Ever since I saw this nude embellished gown with a neck scarf and a thigh high split I have been waiting with bated breath for the stunning Mrs Jolie to don it for an event, and what platform would be better than the red carpet at the Oscars. I love when Elie dresses an Academy Awards attendee as I am always left speechless and with another Best Dressed nominee. I would pair this dress with a metallic gold Jimmy Choo tube clutch and some strappy Jimmy Choo gold metallic sandals.

 Now I will say I was hoping that Cameron Diaz was not going to be one of the presenters at this years Oscars ceremony just because I know that she wants to wear this dress because when she was front row at the Armani Spring 2012 Couture presentation in Paris just last month it has been noted that she turned to Giorgio Armani's niece and brand ambassador and said 'That is absolutely stunning' so I guess there is almost no doubts in my mind that she will wear this even though I would love for Best Actress in a Supporting Role nominee Jessica Chastain to wear this instead. Anyway, Cameron should pair this also with a metallic gold clutch and some gold strappy sandals.

 Next we have Halle Berry who also presented last year at the Academy Awards. I am keeping the same strapless mermaid silhouette but changing the rest by giving her this stunning black and silver abstract print Lela Rose Fall 2012 RTW gown that just walked the runway in New York City just a few days ago. The designer has never had an Oscars red carpet moment and I think that Halle is just the right woman to bring that moment to us as she would look absolutely stunning in this design. Just a pair of black peep toe pumps and them some seriously stunning diamond creations would be perfect for this look.

 Jennifer Lopez is also set to present at the Oscars this year. The last time she did she had an amazing promotional tour resulting in a space on my best dressed list for that year. I would love for her to do that again and I would say if she wore this ice blue Zuhair Murad Spring 2012 Couture mermaid gown then she would look absolutely stunning and full of diva-tude. A crystal encrusted Judith Leiber clutch and some crystal encrusted sandals would make this look sizzle and then some amazing diamond earrings and a statement diamond cuff would finish off this look with a diva song.

 Kristen Wiig has had a horrible run this awards season on the red carpet. I believe that after last years Emmy Awards where the stunning comedienne stepped out in a chocolate brown and caramel ombre Zac Posen gown and has not been able to live up to that moment since. I would like her to try for elegance again by wearing this Z Spoke by Zac Posen Fall 2012 RTW gown. I think that it is within the simplicity that is needed for her to look stunning and I wouldn't complicate it with accessories either just a pair of gold diamond encrusted earrings, gold clutch, and gold peep toe pumps, are what is needed to make this look elegant and keep her off the worst dressed lists.

And last but not least we have Kristen Wiig's 'Bridesmaids' co-star, Rose Byrne, who is going to be alongside her as they present at this years ceremony. Rose has become quite the fashionista and made a huge splash. I would love for her to step out wearing this stunning embellished lace petal Valentino Spring 2011 Couture peach colored gown with off the shoulder sleeves. I think that Rose would look absolutely stunning in this gown and I hope that she wears it as I would really love to see this grace a red carpet at some point and what point better than the Oscars. I think a pair of champagne pink colored peep toe pumps and some great diamond jewelry would just take this look to the next level.

2012 Peoples Choice Awards: Cameron, Chloe, and Coutrney

Cameron Diaz has worn nothing but neutral mini dresses over the past year, and well, I am not going to stop her just quite yet. Ever since this Salvatore Ferragamo Spring 2012 RTW gold dress strutted down the runway, I knew that Cameron had to wear it. Besides, what would be a better platform for this dress than the 2012 Peoples Choice Awards. The California blonde will show off her best asset, her legs, in this amazing dress. Gold strappy sandals, and maybe a box clutch, would complete this stunning ensemble.

Chloe Moretz is such a cute bubbly 14 year old, and I think that this pink heart printed fringed Versace for H&M cocktail dress would be perfect for her. If anyone could pull off this quirky dress it would be Chloe, who attended the fashion show launch party for the collection. She needs to play up her youth and should wear pink strappy sandals and carry a pink clutch to keep this look quirky and youthful. If she were to wear this dress, she needs to straighten her hair and wear clean makeup to make this outfit truly work. Overall, I think that this would make an absolutely stunning choice for the young actress

Courtney Cox can be a hard person to style for the red carpet, but when I stared searching for a dress for her to wear for this event, the minute I saw this Dolce & Gabbana Spring 2012 RTW dress I knew that this was the dress for her. To complete this look a black box clutch, red peep toe pumps, diamond drop earrings, and a diamond bracelet would make this look absolutely stunning.

Teen Choice Awards Dress Picks: B-C

The Gossip Girl Actress is known for her sexy style and ultimately sticking to brands like Marchesa,Versace, and Chanel; but every once in a blue moon she will call on Lanvin which is why I picked this mini for her. I love the detail on the left side and the way that the dress is structured. Blake is also 100% dedicated to the Christian Louboutin shoe brand so no matter what dress she wears you are guaranteed that she is wearing the famous red soles on her feet which is why I would pair this dress with a pair of gold studded Very Mix peep toe pumps.

Since the supermodel has become an actress in the film Just Go With It she has really disappointed on the red carpet. I would love her to wear this Benhaz Sarafpur Resort 2012 dress with a pair of blue and white strappy Diane Von Furstenberg Spring 2011 sandals.

Cameron Diaz has also been really letting me down on the red carpet. I still have yet to see Cameron in Elie Saab after she attended his Spring 2011 Couture fashion show except for the dress she wore to the after party. This blue mini dress shows off Cameron's best and favorite asset her legs but looks sophisticated at the same time. I know she wont wow in the shoe department probably wearing her favorite Casadei pointy toe pumps in black that she is wearing in the picture on the left.

I think that the Californication and Entourage star would looks simple and elegant yet stunning in the fire engine red Naeem Khan backless Resort 2012 number. I would just pair this dress with a pair of nude Christian Louboutin Peed toes or nude Jimmy Choo Sandals.

 

Carrie is a HUGE fan of Georges Chakra and has worn his designs on numerous occasions (the white dress in the reference images is by him). This Spring 2011 Couture cocktail dress has a long tulle train that comes off of that orange tulle mass. I would recommend that she removes the train but keeps the mass as it adds an amazing detail to the stunning couture dress. Carrie also loves Rene Caovilla shoes and should wear a pair of their crystal encrusted gold strappy sandals to complete her look.
