'Red 2' LA Premiere Wish List

Next Thursday the stars of the comedy thriller 'Red 2' will take to the red carpet at the Regency Village Theater in Hollywood to premiere the latest installment of the film. Its has been quite awhile since we have seen Catherine Zeta Jones take to the red carpet and a welcome return it will be. For this premiere I would love to see Catherine Zeta Jones wear this amazing blue Elie Saab Fall 2013 RTW satin dress paired with a pair of black satin peep toe pumps and wavy locks to create the perfect look for the Welsh actress for this premiere.

Helen Mirren unlike Catherine Zeta Jones is a returning star of the film and I would not be surprised to see her take to the red carpet next Thursday to premiere this film in Hollywood. I used to love seeing Helen take to the red carpet but I will say in the past two years my love for her sense of dressing has dramatically decreased but I am hoping that she will return to the red carpet at the 'Red 2' premiere wearing this amazing crystal embroidered Dolce & Gabbana Fall 2013 RTW dress. This dress paired with red kitten heels and a black satin clutch and Helen will make a triumphant return wearing a brand that she has been loyal to in the past 2 years but not had a successful run with.

2013 Cannes Film Festival: 'Behind the Candelabra' Premiere Wish List

All of the major stars of the film 'Behind The Candelabra' are male but star Michael Douglas will hopefully bring his wife Catherine Zeta-Jones to add some Hollywood glamour. I think that this amazing black Ralph Lauren Fall 2013 RTW silk gown. This is a simple subtle look for Catherine as she is not the person the focus of this event is on. Finish with a Salvatore Ferragamo minaudiere, black Christian Louboutin embellished pumps, as well as some incredibly dazzling diamonds, and of course sans feather jacket. Catherine has always been one to wow me on the red carpet and I am hoping that Cannes will be no different.

'Behind the Candelabra' is an HBO film that will be presented as an official selection which Nicole Kidman was in the HBO film 'Hemingway & Gellhorn' so I am sure that she will attend this premiere. Nicole is expected to wear at least one L'Wren Scott design during the course of the festival as L'Wren is her stylist. This will be the only wish that I make for her to wear for the event. I think that this black and gold strapless L'Wren Scott Fall 2013 RTW art deco inspired gown. A black and gold Bulgari clutch, a pair of black Jimmy Choo pumps, and some stunning yellow diamond jewelry from Chopard and Nicole will keep the red carpet glamorous.

I am hoping that Audrey Tautou will be seen more than the Opening and Closing Ceremonies as well as the amFAR gala but at some of the premieres in between all of them. The precedent set for the Mistress of Ceremonies varies from just those events to attending several of the premieres outside of those events. If she were to attend this premiere I would love to see her wear this cream Christian Lacroix Fall 2007 Couture gown. I was saddened in 2010 when the Christian Lacroix label closed and his avant garde designs stopped showing up on the red carpet. I have been in love with this look since I saw it in Vogue and again in the first 'Sex and the City' movie. Complete with a pair of champagne and crystal Christian Louboutin satin pointy toe pumps, simple pink diamond Chopard earrings, and a silver clutch would complete this ensemble.

2013 Academy Awards: Presenter Wish List Part 2

Amanda Seyfried will be attending this years nominated not only supporting her Best Picture nominated film 'Les Miserables' but will perform in the 'Celebration of Musicals of the Last Decade' which will be a special feature during the show highlighting Oscar nominated musicals 'Chicago,' 'Dreamgirls' and "Les Miserables' with musical performances from each of these films by their original cast members. I would love to see her wear this smoke grey and black Armani Prive Spring 2013 Couture ball gown. Amanda usually looks her best when she is wearing darker ensembles and I think that this gown would look amazing on her. Just some simple jewelry and silver grey satin pumps would make this look perfect.

Catherine Zeta-Jones has been announced as one of the presenters at this years awards as well as a performer in the Musicals tribute and I am actually really excited what she has in store for the red carpet. I am not entirely sure if she will wow me but I am trying to hold out hope. If she wears Monique Lhuillier or Elie Saab I think I would be pleasantly surprised at how she looks. I think that if she were to wear this malachite green gown that she would look exceptionally stunning and it would be a grand surprise as you don't see many printed gowns at the Oscars. Gold accessories would be the perfect compliment to this look.

Nicole Kidman has been having a lot of fun with fashion since she started prepping for her role as Grace Kelly in her latest project. Well for the 2013 Academy Awards I would love to see her wear this midnight and electric blue gown from the Armani Prive Fall 2012 Couture collection. I think that Nicole is one of the few statuesque beauties who has the height required to pull off this gown. Finish with a blue clutch, the blue sandals, and some stunning jewelery.

If there is one person that I am really not looking forward to seeing on the red carpet it is Rene Zellweger. I personally do not think that she is pretty at all and she is almost 100% of the time wearing a Carolina Herrera gown. For the 2013 Academy Awards I am predicting that Rene will wear this black Carolina Herrera Fall 2013 RTW gown with sequined sleeves. This with statement earrings, a black clutch, and black pumps are what I am expecting her to wear.

Sandra Bullock has really undergone a red carpet transformation since the year she won her Oscar for 'The Blind Side.' For this years Academy Awards, where Sandy will be one of the presenters, I would LOVE to see her wear this stunning coral Elie Saab Fall 2012 Couture gown. I did a consensus of my friends and they did not see it so try to envision it the way I am about to describe it. First she has to wear her hair in a tight slick high pony tail. Then pair this with a gold clutch and a pair of gold sandals and I think that this would become a wonderful red carpet moment.

'Rock of Ages' LA Premiere Wish List

'Rock of Ages' is a jukebox musical that took Broadway by storm when it opened in 2009 and now they have assembled and all star movie cast to perform all the 1980's classic rock hits from bands such as Journey, Bon Jovi , and Styx. Catherine Zeta Jones is amongst the cast and I am excited to see what one of my favorite red carpet divas brings to the red carpet at the LA premiere. I would love to see her wear this amazing long sleeves crochet Elie Saab Fall 2012 RTW black gown. I think that this gown would look absolutely stunning on Catherine as it is sexy while still being sophisticated. Catherine never really carry's a clutch so weather she does or not doesn't really bother me but she must add a pair of black strappy sandals.

Julianne Hough is a hit or a miss on the red carpet for me and I think that if she takes my advice and wears this stunning gold Naeem Khan Fall 2012 RTW disco gown that she could quite possibly have a hit on her hands. To complete this look she should a gold Edie Parker clutch, gold metallic strappy sandals, and her hair voluminous and giant but not tacky.

 Malin Ackerman is another one of the stunning actresses who graces the big screen in this Broadway to Hollywood musical film and it would not surprise me to see her at the LA premiere, I mean it is her movie after all lol. For this premiere I had originally wished for Malin to wear a maroon stunning J. Mendel Fall 2012 RTW gown but Mia Wasikowska wore it to her Cannes Film Festival premiere before I could post the wish, so back to the drawing boards I went. I ended up picking this stunning red Maria Lucia Hohan Fall 2012 RTW Gown. Maria has been really popular on the red carpet since about October of last year and since as dressed everyone from Taylor Swift to Jennifer Lopez to Katherine Heigl and Stacy Keibler. I wanted Malin to bring the old school glam for this premiere and I think that she could with this gown with a classic wavy up-do a la Grace Kelly, a red clutch, red strappy sandals, a few small diamond bracelets, and simple makeup.

Mary J. Blige is the last major celebrity that is set to grace the screen in this film. For the LA Premiere there are three brands that she will most likely choose from Gucci, Roberto Cavalli, and Michael Kors. I am hoping that she goes with this stunning black Michael Kors Fall 2012 RTW gown with a plunging neckline. I think that this would be absolutely stunning on Mary who tends to get it all wrong on the red carpet. I am not saying that this will get her on the best dressed lists, but it will keep her off the worst dressed lists. Add a black clutch, black peep toes, and some amazing diamonds and she is set.

MET Ball Wish List: Cameron and Catherine

I am still waiting for Cameron Diaz to don Armani Prive since she was seen sitting front row at the Spring 2012 Couture presentation and what would be a better venue than the MET Ball. With two movies set to release this year Cameron is a good contender to be a guest of Vogue at this years event. I think that this digital snake print gown would look absolutely stunning on Cameron. The green color is perfect for Cameron's light skin and hair. A black clutch and some black peep toe pumps would be the perfect subtle accessories to let this stunning avant garde gown.

Catherine Zeta Jones is a stunning woman and I think that she looks good in these ice colored gowns. One of her favorite designers is Elie Saab and so I decided that I am going to mix the two things and put her in this ice blue embellished Elie Saab Spring 2012 Couture gown. I would again just add a blue bustier under the dress so that the sheer illusion of the top is not lost through lining but she is still demure. A silver Judith Leiber crystal encrusted clutch and a silver pair of strappy sandals. Some amazing diamond earrings and flowing hair would look absolutely stunning and finish off this absolutely stunning ensemble.

Catherine Zeta Jones Wish List

I love to see Catherine Zeta Jones on the red carpet, and I don't see her step out nearly as much I would like for her to. Maybe if I give her some clothing ideas, maybe, she will step out and wear them for me.

The first look I have for the stunning Welsh beauty is this amazing red lace one shouldered Romona Kevesa Spring 2012 RTW cocktail dress. I love it when she wears fitted clothing, as she has a banging body and red looks amazing on her. A red satin clutch and red peep toes would be absolutely amazing for this amazing sultry sexy ensemble. The next look is this black and white color blocked Monique Lhuillier Spring 2012 RTW dress; I think that this is 100% Catherine and she would AMAZING in it. I would add a bejeweled clutch and black peep toe pumps to complete this look. And last, but not least, I have this stunning blue Elie Saab Spring 2012 RTW dress. I think that this dress is the most of her style out of all three of these, which makes it the most feasible to see happen on a red carpet near you. A matching blue clutch and pumps would be how to accessorize it correctly for Catherine.
