2016 Berlin International Film Festival: "The Seasons in Quincy: Four Portraits of John Berger" Premiere Red Carpet Wish List

I was heavily disappointed that Tilda Swinton did not attend the LA premiere of Hail, Caesar! (which is the opening film of the Berlin International Film Festival) but I am praying that she makes the journey to Berlin for both that and the documentary which she voices and wrote The Seasons in Quincy: Four Portraits of John Berger. Tilda's style quite intrigues me as she is this beautiful androgynous beauty and she always leaves me with a modern edgy glam look to ogle over. For this premiere I picked this white Alexis Mabille Spring 2016 Couture embroidered gown and black structured silk cape. While Tilda has never worn one of Alexis's creations on the red carpet but I honestly think that Tilda would shut down the carpet wearing some of his creations. I think that this piece reminds me more of Tilda because it is so streamlined and chic. A lot of the pieces from Alexis Mabille that I tend to think of Tilda are some of his more complicated almost Victorian inspired pieces which might be too frilly for her. Keeping the styling simple with this look is key. I would only add a pair of black pumps, diamond cluster earrings, a red lip, and a slicked back do to ensure that Tilda has the most amazing moment on the red carpet at the Berlin International Film Festival.
My final wish for Meryl Streep for her duties as International Jury president during the Berlin International Film Festival is probably the most likely. This chic simple Valentino Fall 2015 Couture long sleeved completely covered gown is probably the most typical Meryl gown that I picked for her to wear over the course of the festival. I think that while this is a standard black gown that Meryl would shine wearing it as it is the most in her comfort zone out of all the looks that I have picked. Keeping this look chic is just exactly what needs to happen to keep Meryl from fading into the background. I would add a statement Van Cleef & Arpels yellow gold diamond and fancy gems set necklace, a black clutch, a pair of black pumps, a red lip, and chic elegant hair to ensure that Meryl is still the queen of the Berlin Film Festival red carpets.

2016 Berlin International Film Festival: "Midnight Special" Premiere Red Carpet Wish List

Kirsten Dunst sadly skipped out on the 2016 SAG Awards and I am really hoping that she doesn't skip the Berlin International Film Festival premiere of her film "Midnight Special." I have a love of Kirsten's style but she has been a little more relaxed since she has been on television. I would love to see Kirsten take to the red carpet in Berlin wearing this white Chanel Spring 2016 Couture embroidered and fringe gown which features golden embroidery on the neckline. Not many women could have the red carpet presence to make this gown work on the red carpet and Kirsten can toe the line. Where she could let this gown down is with the styling. Kirsten loves a black pump and there should be no black pumps anywhere near this dress. A pair of gold pumps, a light smokey lined eye, a red lip, and her bob styled with chic vintage inspired waves would be the perfect styling to ensure that Kirsten has a killer red carpet look on the Berlin Film Festival red carpet.
I dug into the Elie Saab archives for today's wish for Berlin International Film Festival International Jury president Meryl Streep. I am really hoping that Berlin is going to showcase all of Meryl's new found sartorial style. I am anxiously awaiting all of her looks over the festival, which is something new because I never really cared for her before. I think that this dove grey Elie Saab Fall 2013 Couture long sleeved embellished bodice gown with a flowing chiffon skirt would make for a beautiful red carpet moment for Meryl. The downside of this look is that Meryl might not like the plunging open back of this gown. We tend to see Meryl very covered up with more of a plunge in the front than in the back but I think that she would personify glamour in this gown. A silver clutch, a pair of silver satin pump, and diamond cluster earrings would just add the perfect finishing touches.

2016 Berlin International Film Festival: "Genius" Red Carpet Premiere Wish List

Nicole Kidman has been on a roller coaster of looks recently. Her custom Gucci gown at the SAG Awards was a total disaster as it was way too young for her, give it to Dakota Johnson or Elle Fanning and I would have been hailing this as a triumph but sadly on Nicole it was to young. For Nicole's premiere of Genius at the 2016 Berlin International Film Festival I would love to see her wearing this grey Elie Saab Spring 2016 Couture tiered beaded gown which also includes a chic embroidered bolero jacket. Nicole Kidman has a very classic glamour about her and this gown would just enhance her regal style. Nicole doesn't need big ball gowns or trailing trains to bring an impact on the red carpet and this gown would just punctuate that. I would love to see her pair this gown with dyed to match grey satin Roger Vivier sandals, a pair of cluster Tiffany & Co. diamond earrings, a chic updo, and a red lip to just finish this regal look off extremely elegantly.
As I have said I don't know how many times Berlin International Film Festival International Jury president Meryl Streep will actually step out on the red carpet during the festival. I have been starting to take notice of Meryl's style as of late and I am intrigued to see what she is going to wear on the red carpets during Berlin. I would love to see Meryl wearing this black, white, & red Carolina Herrera Pre-Fall 2016 ball gown which features an a-line silhouette with a bateau neckline, a variegated striped bodice, and a full gathered skirt. I think that this more relaxed high glamour look is something that Meryl loves and while she doesn't usually go for a lot of volume when picking her red carpet looks, but I think that this kind of sailor stripe look mixed with the ball gown silhouette would make for a major red carpet moment. Keep this look simple with chic up-swept hair, a pink lip, black pumps, and a black clutch to ensure that Meryl continues to shine on the red carpet.

2016 Berlin International Film Festival: "Chi-Raq" Premiere Red Carpet Wish List

The social justice film Chi-Raq will be one of the films getting a gala premiere out of competition at the 2016 Berlin International Film Festival, which kicks off next week. I do not know if Academy Award winner Jennifer Hudson will be in attendance at the films big premiere since she is currently performing every night on Broadway in The Color Purple. If she does make the journey to Berlin I would love to see Jennifer wearing this ivory Marchesa Pre-Fall 2016 which is rendered in stretch crepe and features a sheath silhouette with a jewel neckline, gold beaded appliques along the bodice with illusion cutouts. I think that this gown would look absolutely amazing on this red carpet as Jennifer as been working a lot of edgy glam looks on the red carpet in the past year. I would finish this look with an Emm Kuo 'Nam Hai' peach and gold clutch which is made up of mother of pearl, brass, and oyster shell, a pair of gold Giuseppe Zanotti sandals, and a red lip to ensure that Jennifer has an absolutely amazing red carpet moment at the Berlin Film Festival.
Teyonah Parris has earned her star from playing the first major African-American character on the hit television series Mad Men. Since the conclusion of the show Teyonah has been working on a lot of social justice themed film with Chi-Raq being the latest. I am imagining that Teyonah will be the fashion plate at the films premiere at the Berlin International Film Festival as she has been getting quite a bit love from the fashion community. For this red carpet I would love to see Teyonah wearing this icy lilac Zuhair Murad Spring 2016 Couture strapless corseted ball gown. Teyonah is not afraid to wear big gowns but has not yet worn couture on the red carpet, and what better platform than a major film festival to don her first couture gown? Finish this look with a chic updo, a pair of dazzling diamond drop earrings, a silver clutch, and a pair of silver sandals and this look will be sexy and enchanting for Teyonah on the Berlin Film Festival red carpet.
Meryl Streep has been growing in her red carpet style over the past year but I am not so sure that Meryl will make many appearances on the red carpet during the Berlin International Film Festival. Meryl is the president of this years International jury and I am quite intrigued to see what she will be wearing when she does actually step out on the red carpet. I would love to see Meryl wearing this white sari inspired Elie Saab Spring 2016 Couture ensemble which featured and embroidered long sleeve button up blouse and ball skirt. I think that this would look beautiful on Meryl, even if she decided not to wear this scarf draped over her shoulder. I am hoping Meryl delivers on the Berlin International Film Festival red carpet and this would be a perfect look for her to wear.

2016 Berlin International Film Festival: Opening Ceremony & "Hail, Caesar!" Premiere Wish List

The Berlin International Film Festival will kick off on February 11, 2016 with a grand gala premiere of the latest Cohen Brothers film "Hail, Caesar!" Sure to be in attendance is the president of this years International Jury, Meryl Streep. A year ago I would have scoffed at Meryl being on a film festival jury as the fashion was bound to be bland and blah but towards the end of last year (and the emergence of a new stylist) Meryl started making more of an impact on the red carpet, so now I am intrigued to see what she is going to wear for the red carpets during the festival. I picked this navy blue Alexis Mabille Fall 2015 Couture long sleeve embroidered shirt dress ballgown for Meryl to wear for the Opening Ceremony and "Hail, Caesar!" premiere. I believe that this gown embodies Meryl's relaxed classic look but does so in a grand way. We did not get to see any of this collection on the red carpet during festival season in the Fall so I am hoping that Meryl gets her hands on it for Berlin. Finish the look off with simple styling including a pair of navy satin pumps, a chic updo, and a pair of diamond cluster earrings and Meryl will kick of the festival in style.
With such an all-star cast it is hard to know exactly who will be showing up for the "Hail, Caesar!" premiere but there are two female stars that I have high hopes for showing up looking glamorous. Scarlett Johansson steps out ever so infrequently for red carpets so I am really hoping that for this premiere that she brings her signature sex appeal to the red carpet. The last time we actually saw ScarJo on the red carpet was almost a year ago at the Academy Awards. I would die if Scarlett got her hands on this blue and black embroidered Atelier Versace Spring 2016 Couture strapless mermaid gown for this red carpet. This gown would bring sexy glamour to the red carpet, something that Scarlett is quite known for. I think that silhouette would hug her curves and the train would just add dramatic impact. Finish the look with a pair of black sandals, an edgy glam updo, red lip, and a pair of diamond drop earrings and this would be a look to remember for Scarlett on the Berlin red carpet.
The other star of the film that I am uber hopeful will show up is the stunning Tilda Swinton. Tilda is always one that I enjoy seeing on the red carpet as she has quite the unpredictable style. She could go high glamour or menswear inspired or something modern and edgy. I decided to go with a modern edgy glam look with this white Christian Dior Spring 2016 Couture asymmetrical scoop neck bell shaped gown. When I watched this runway show Tilda was the first woman that came to my mind when this gown took to the runway. I believe that it embodies a lot of what Tilda likes to bring to the red carpet: glamour, modernity, and edge. With such a sleek silhouette it really could be brought down by the wrong styling so I would keep it simple with a pair of metallic silver pumps, edgy pouf, diamond cluster earrings, and a pink lip. All this together would give Tilda a red carpet look that would rival some of her greats red carpet hits.

2015 Berlin Film Festival Jury Members Wish List

Two years ago Audrey Tautou played the role of Mistress of Ceremonies at the Cannes Film Festival, and looked absolutely amazing doing so, and this year we will see her take to the red carpet as a member of the International Jury, which chooses the winners of the main competition. When I saw this amazing electric blue lace Christian Dior Spring 2015 Couture strapless tea length full skirted evening gown, my breath stopped. The dress is definitely one of my favorite Dior creations in a long time and I think that Audrey would give us a major Audrey Hepburn moment on the Berlinale red carpet in this gown. Audrey has a good friendship with Dolce & Gabbana so I figure one look will come from the house over the course of the festival. If she chooses to wear a gown from the collection, over a look for the photocall, I picked this Dolce & Gabbana Spring 2015 RTW printed gown. I think that this gown is a statement and Audrey would make it look like Haute Couture. Speaking of couture I think that this Giambattista Valli Fall 2014 Couture jumpsuit with chiffon house coat would be an amazing moment, probably my favorite if she wore it, because it is something that we NEVER see on the red carpet and Audrey is the perfect candidate to make this a perfect red carpet moment. And finally I picked a menswear inspired Lanvin Pre-Fall 2015 tuxedo that incorporates crystal embellishments on the shoulders. Menswear dressing is quickly becoming the biggest trend of 2015 and I think that this would be the perfect way for Audrey to join on on the fun. Add a menswear inspired button down and a pair of killer Christian Louboutin heels and this would make for a perfect look for a film festival premiere, but only if one wishes to stand out.
Ukrainian actress Olga Kurylenko is on the First Film Jury and I am praying that she will be on the perfect form that she was during the end of 2014. Olga has long proved why I love her so much with an amazing red carpet history and only narrowly not making Best Dressed of the Year lists several times. I think that this could be Olga's year. If Olga could get her hands on my favorite gown from the Chanel Fall 2014 Couture collection, then I think that this would be her first BDOTY contender. The silver and grey gown embellished with sequins and concrete beads is not for the faint of heart to wear on the red carpet and I think Olga is one of the few that has the presence to not make this gown look heavy. For a bold color statement I would have Olga wear this cinnamon red Marches Pre-Fall 2015 embroidered v-neck tulle ball gown rendered in tulle and features a deep V-neckline with scalloped lace detailing and a fully ruffled skirt. Going down the soft ethereal route this lavender Ralph & Russo Spring 2015 Couture gown would be absolutely perfect on Olga with her dark hair and milky skin. And finally a look going for edge and beauty would be this amazing Valentino Pre-Fall 2015 midnight blue tulle ball gown covered with galactic embroidery all over. This is probably the biggest statement that Olga could make on the red carpet. Not many would dare to wear this type of embroidered gown on the red carpet at a major film festival, and I think Olga is the one.

Berlin International Film Festival: Carmen, Cate, Elizabeth, & Freida Wish List

The Oscar nominated "Selma" will receive a special screening at the Berlin International Film Festival, which kick-starts next Thursday. I am hoping we see red carpet newbie Carmen Ejogo on the red carpet for the films premiere. With couture presentations starting this week I am in this limbo situation where I want to feature all of my favorite looks from Fall 2014 Couture before Spring 2015 Couture takes over but I am afraid that many of the leftover looks will be lost to the archives. Carmen has been getting progressively better with her red carpet dressing with each red carpet that she has stepped out on. I would love to see her wear this amazing champagne silk tulle Elie Saab Fall 2014 Couture ball gown. I think that this is a major moment, and since Carmen did not receive an Academy Awards nomination, I think that this the perfect venue to make a major red carpet moment happen. Finish the look with a chic evening bob, a gold clutch, and a pair of gold pumps and I really think that Carmen will have red carpet critics eating out of the palms of her hands.
Queen of the red carpet Cate Blanchett will be premiering two films during the Berlin International Film Festival, "Cinderella" will premiere as an out of competition gala and "Knight of Cups" will premiere in competition. I will be watching the couture shows looking for a second look for Cate, which I will share in a wish list later this week, but one thing I would LOVE to see Cate wear comes courtesy of her go to red carpet brand Armani Prive. When this amazing red sequin cap sleeve sequin Armani Prive Fall 2014 Couture gown walked the runway in Paris back in July of last year it immediately went on reserve for Cate. Not many would be able to not make this look like a plastic mass on the red carpet, but Cate has the presence to be able to make this look as chic as chiffon or all over embellished beading. It is modern in its technique but classic in its style, exactly what makes for the best looks. Finish the look with a vintage inspired updo, a red lip, red pumps, and simple Chopard diamond to finish off another winning look for Cate the Great.
As I said earlier you will be seeing A LOT of the Atelier Versace Spring 2015 Couture collection on this blog over the next few months. Elizabeth Banks's film "Love & Mercy" will be screening at the Berlin Film Festival in the Berlinale Special selection as an out of competition gala. When this film premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival, Elizabeth wore a stunning Chloe floral printed suit. I am hoping that the modern choices continue through the films Berlin premiere. This electric blue Atelier Versace Spring 2015 Couture one shoulder gown would make for an electric red carpet moment for Elizabeth. It has been awhile since we have seen Lizzy wear a major Versace gown on the red carpet, so I think that this is the perfect time to bring one to life. This sculptural gown needs a sleek updo, a red lip, a pair of electric blue pumps, and am electric blue Edie Parker clutch would finish this look off for a a best dressed look for Elizabeth to make for the Berlin Film Fest.
Freida Pinto had an amazing red carpet run last year and I am excited to see what 2015 will bring for the Indian beauty. We will most likely see Frieda take to the red carpet when her film "Knight of Cups" has its big in competition gala screening. This film has been rumored to premiere since Cannes in 2013 so I am really excited to finally get this amazing group of women on the red carpet; Freida, Cate and Natalie Portman. While I figure Cate and Natalie will go for solid gowns I would love to see Freida rock a bold pattern like the one featured on this Andrew Gn Pre-Fall 2015 strapless ballgown. With such a bold pattern and bold colors making up that pattern the styling needs to be kept really, really simple. I would finish this look off with a pair of gold pumps, a pink lip, and slicked back hair to ensure that Frieda really stands out on the red carpet, for a good not for worst.

2014 Berlin International Film Festival: 'The Monuments Men' & 'La Belle et la Bete' Premieres Wish List

On Saturday the cast of 'The Monuments Men' will take to the Berlin Film Festival t' o premiere the film In Competition. After I posted my wish for Cate Blanchett for 'The Galapagos Affair: Satan Came to Eden' Premiere I learned that Cate the Great would not be able to attend this premiere but I am praying that she attends the premiere of 'The Monuments Men.' This film actually will actually be released on February 7th, a day ahead of this premiere. I have been dying to see Cate wear one of the 'nude' gowns from the Armani Prive Fall 2013 Couture collection and I think that this trumpet gown with embellished cap sleeves is perfect for this event. This gown is grand and it needs a stage like a film festival or the Academy Awards as I believe that Cate will wear an Armani Prive Spring 2014 Couture gown for the Oscars (those wishes to come closer to the Oscars.) Cate would just wear this gown with such an effortless glamour and I am dying to see this gown take to the red carpet. A simple gold metal box clutch, a pair of gold sandals, and some stunning Van Cleef & Arpels vintage yellow gold and diamond jewelry in her ears and on her wrist will make for the perfect premiere look for Cate at the 2014 Berlin International Film Festival.
Lea Seydoux has been a fan of Prada and its little sister Miu Miu since she really stepped out. Lea is the face of the Prada fragrance 'Candy' and has also starred in the Prada Resort 2012 and Miu Miu Resort 2014 campaigns, so I am sure that during one of her red carpet moments during the Berlin International Film Festival that she will wear a gown from one label or the other. Since I picked an Ulyana Sergeenko Couture gown for Lea to wear for the Opening Ceremony and 'Grand Budapest Hotel' premiere I am wishing for her to wear Miu Miu Spring 2014 RTW for the premiere of 'La Belle et la Bete.' Now many of you are going to ask me about why I picked a short dress for Lea to wear to a major film festival premiere. Well I am just going to put that to rest and say that I would have this gown lengthened into a full gown with a train. I love this robins egg blue long sleeve dress and I could see Lea giving us a totally 60s moment wearing this gown which has beaded fringe around the waist. A 60s style updo, a smokey eye, a light pink lip, and a pair of silver sandals will make this gown just work to death on the red carpet.

2014 Berlin International Film Festival: 'The Grand Budapest Hotel' Premiere Wish List

Wes Anderson films are no stranger to a film festival premiere, his last film 'Moonrise Kingdom' staring Tilda Swinton opened the 2012 Cannes Film Festival, and his latest film 'The Grand Budapest Hotel' will be screened at the 2014 Berlin International Film Festival. Lea Seydoux is one of the bevy of beauties in the film that might take to the red carpet. Hot off her 2014 Cesar Awards nomination for 'Blue is the Warmest Color' I am praying for a major red carpet moment from her for this premiere. Ulyana Sergeenko doesn't seem to lend out her couture creations very often and never seen the brand on a mainstream American star and I think that this stunning hunter green bustier with its iridescent ruby mermaid skirt from the Ulyana Sergeenko Spring 2014 Couture collection. This gown has to be one of my absolute favorite looks that came down the runway at Paris Haute Couture Fashion Week last month and I am praying for a major red carpet moment from this gown. Finish the look with a pair of ruby crystal encrusted sandals, a red lip, and a sleek updo hairstyle will make this the perfect Berlin Film Fest premiere ensemble.
Saoirse Ronan is also in 'The Grand Budapest Hotel' and I could totally see the stunning Irish actress taking to the red carpet in Berlin in this stunning Valentino Spring 2014 Couture gown embroidered with a jungle scene. This is definitely a gown that needs to be presented on a foreign red carpet because the beauty in this gown would be lost on a red carpet in the United States as it is too conceptual. Finish this look with a pair of gold sandals and a red clutch and Saoirse will have the perfect look for her big night in Berlin.
Last but not least we have Tilda Swinton. No stranger to the Berlin Film Festival I am praying for a stand out look from the androgynous beauty for the premiere of 'The Grand Budapest Hotel.' Since last years Cannes Film Festival we have seen Tilda take to the red carpet wearing a lot of Chanel and was seated front row at the Chanel Spring 2014 Couture collection last month. I think that this iridescent ice blue Chanel Spring 2014 Couture shift gown will make for a perfect red carpet look is perfect for the beauty who works the odder designs perfectly. A pair of white pumps and neutral makeup will finish this look off perfectly for me.

2014 Berlin International Film Festival: 'The Galapagos Affair: Satan Came to Eden' Premiere Wish List

As everyone that consistently reads this blog will know I have an absolute obsession with the two ladies that are featured in today's post. I am probably stretching expecting that these ladies will take to the red carpet for the premiere of 'The Galapagos Affair: Satan Came to Eden' which is a documentary and these ladies only appearance in the film comes via voice over narration. If Cate Blanchett does end up taking to the red carpet at the premiere for this film I would love to see her wear this cream and gold Valentino Fall 2013 Couture long sleeved gown with a train that extends from the upper back. This gown makes me think of chic 1960's socialites and I think that Cate would just rock the hell out of this classic gown. Finish the look with a chic updo, simple glam makeup, and a pair of gold sandals will make this gown just sing for the red carpet at the Berlin Film Festival.
I also have an obession with Diane Kruger. The German actress, who acts as her own stylist, always is consistant on the red carpet giving me the best possbible looks that she always works to the extreme. In 2012 when Diane was the token fashionista on the jury of the Cannes Film Festival we had atleast one stunning red carpet look from the actress a day for the 14 days the festival went on. I think that if she takes to the red carpet for this premiere at the Berlin International Film Festival, Diane should wear this amazing black Maxime Simoens Pre-Fall 2014 gown with black fur sleeves. There are almost no women in Hollywood that would be able to pull this look off sleeves and all. Diane works the most couture styles on the red carpet, and she has the attitude and presence to pull off this gown. A simple black clutch, a red lip, and black Christian Louboutin pumps will be all that is needed to finish off this look for the film festival's red carpet.

2014 Berlin International Film Festival: Greta Gerwig Wish List

It seems like every film festival has one lovely lady on its jury that knows how to work a red carpet and look fabulous and this year a the Berlin International Film Festival it is red carpet newcomer Greta Gerwig. We first saw Greta take to the red carpet at the 2012 Met Ball in Prabal Gurung and she has continued to grow. Near the end of last year Giorgio Armani held one of his 'One Night Only' events in New York City and showcased looks from each of his Armani Prive collections. Greta was amongst a host of celebrities that were seated front row at the event. I am hoping that we will see Greta snatch up a look from the recently presented Armani Prive Spring 2014 Couture collection. This has to be one of my absolute favorite Armani collections to date and I am so excited to see it on the red carpet. Greta should add a pair of navy peep toe satin pumps, a navy clutch, some stunning Chopard diamonds, and her hair worn in old Hollywood waves over one shoulder to finish off this look that would be perfect for a big Berlin Film Fest premiere.
Now I do not think that we will go the 10 days of the Berlin International Film Festival without seeing a Christian Dior gown take to the red carpet. Last year Dior gowns were all over EVERY red carpet including every single major film festival. As a jury member I think that will see Greta wear a look from the house that seems to have been whoring itself out. This color blocked gown from the Christian Dior Spring 2013 Couture collection is what I can picture Greta wearing as she cantors down the red carpet. This is one of the few gowns that didn't make it to the red carpet from the Spring 2013 Couture collection and I am sure that we will eventually see it take to a red carpet. The gown needs simple styling like a gold Edie Parker clutch, a pair of gold Christian Dior pointed toe pumps, a low up-do, and a neutral makeup palate to finish off this look for the red carpet.
I am praying to see some amazing Elie Saab on the red carpet at the 2014 Berlin International Film Festival and I think that Greta would look fantastic in the designs of the King of the Red Carpet. Even though she has never worn couture before, and I have 3 wishes for her to wear couture gowns, it is a major film festival and I think that Greta will work some couture looks during the course of the festival. I think that she could get her hands on this red embellished Elie Saab Fall 2013 Couture gown with 3/4 length sleeves, a v-neck, and a full ball skirt. This gown needs a red carpet moment and I think that the red carpet at the Berlin Film Festival is the perfect location for this gown to have its red carpet moment.
Last but not least I have to pick a look from an American brand. Greta has almost always worn American brands on the red carpet and I am certain that she will rock at least one during the course of the festival. Oscar de la Renta is a brand that I really want to see on Greta during the Berlin Film Fest. This gold bustier Oscar de la Renta Pre-Fall 2014 gown with a sunflower yellow balloon skirt would look so elegant on Greta. The collection inspired by the works of American couturier Charles James and the portraits that photographer Cecil Beaton took of the designers now iconic ensembles. I think that this strapless gown would fit right in at the on the Berlin Film Festival red carpet.
