2013 Screen Actors Guild Awards Wish List: Best Actress in a TV Movie

Alfre Woodard is fabulous and wears lots of looks from emerging designers and a lot of black. For the 2013 SAG Awards I have mixed the two by wishing for her to wear this stunning Farah Angsana Spring 2013 RTW gown. This gown would look amazing on Alfre who is 60 years young. Finish this with a black and silver Judith Leiber clutch, black pumps, and some stunning diamond jewelry and the star will shine brightly.

Julianne Moore looked amazing two major appearances in a row the Emmy Awards and then this past Sunday at the Golden Globe Awards. The star has not picked up one of the complicated Lanvin gowns that she has favored in the past in quite some time and for that I am grateful. She really looks her best in crisp classic silhouettes. For the SAG Awards I would love to see Julianne wear this golden yellow Versace Pre-Fall 2013 wrap gown. I think that this would look stunning on the actress who is the favorite to win Best Actress in a TV Movie or Miniseries. She wore a bright yellow gown for the Emmy Awards and looked amazing. Hair in a slick pony tail, a red lip, and all metallic gold accessories would finish off the amazing look for the star.

Sigourney Weaver was absent from the Golden Globe Awards so I am hoping to see her on the red carpet at the SAG Awards next week. She always brings a class and glamor to the red carpet that only comes with sophistication. I think that this pale gold Reem Acra Spring 2013 RTW gown would be a great choice for this awards show. Finish it off with gold sandals and some stunning diamond earrings and I think she will stun the entire way down the carpet.

'Pitch Perfect' LA Premiere Wish List

 Anna Kendrick kind of really let me down, well not kind of she just flat out really let me down, during the premiere of 'End of Watch' at the Toronto Film Festival. I am hoping that tomorrow night at the 'Pitch Perfect' LA premiere that she wow's me because she hasn't done that in quite a while. I think this flower embellished Oscar de la Renta Resort 2013 dress would make me fall in love with Anna on the red carpet all over again. Pair this with a pair of bronze Brian Atwood peep toe pumps and a matching small clutch hair pulled back and up to showcase the dress and she is ready for the red carpet.

 Brittany Snow isn't high fashion on the red carpet but brings us some really elegant looks from some other brands. I would love to see her wear this orange Farah Angsana Spring 2013 RTW cocktail dress. Brittany has a very flirty sense of style and always look cute. Pair this dress with an aqua clutch and some gold strappy sandals and she is ready for this premiere.

All others at this premiere will most likely be cast into the shadows the moment that red carpet diva Elizabeth Banks steps onto the red carpet at this premiere. The star who is a huge Versace girl will most likely wear a dress from the recent Atelier Versace Fall 2012 Couture collection which Lizzy sat front row at. I would love to see her wear this yellow embellished sparkling Atelier Versace Fall 2012 Couture dress. I think that Lizzy would rock the hell out of this sexy mini without it looking vulgar. pair this with a pair of nude sandals and maybe a sparking nude clutch to complete what will no doubt be a stunning red carpet ensemble and yet another best dressed list look for Lizzy.

Wish List: 2011 CMA Awards

Carrie is again hosting the CMA awards with Brad Paisley this year. Here is my wish list for the show.

I choose this Tadashi Shoji Spring 2012 RTW gown for Carrie to wear on the red carpet. I would love to see this on Carrie with her golden hair and amazing skin tone. I would have her hair wear her hair down and light makeup. I would accessorize this gown with a gold clutch and gold sandals.

Now I know it is a long shot but all my wishes for Carrie to wear all gowns at the CMA's tomorrow. To open the show I have chosen a bright burnt orange Farah Angsana Spring 2012 RTW gown, paired with gold heels. Look 2 is a sea foam blue from Jack Guisso Fall 2011 Couture beaded gown, I love how this dress flows which is why I picked it for Carrie (as I did with most of her looks as I feel that is a very important thing for on stage clothing.) To follow up the Guisso gown I have another orange moment but this one more of a tangerine color courtesy of Abed Mahfouz Fall 2011 Couture. And to close this segment I have chosen a blush pink Georges Hobeika Fall 2011 Couture gown that would look stunning on Carrie.

Segment 2 starts with a purple Grecian draped Zuhair Murad Resort 2012 gown, this gown would be paired with simple drop earrings and a diamond tennis bracelet. Following the Zuhair Resort gown is a black and gold over the top Georges Chakra Fall 2011 Couture gown that would be styled with black pumps. The third look in this segment is one of my favorite wishes for Mrs Underwood, this amazing aqua blue Georges Hobeika Signature Spring 2012 RTW gown paired with silver sandals and diamond chandelier earrings. To close the show I have chosen to go big or go home, and big I went with this STUNNING Zuhair Murad Fall 2011 Couture gown, I mean not that it maters because you would not see the shoes but gold sandals would top off this look.

Miranda Lambert needs major help when it comes to what she wears on the red carpet, honey if you read this just shoot me an email I'll help you out. I have chosen this salmon colored Georges Chakra Fall 2011 RTW gown for her to wear on the red carpet. There are usually one of two things that kills a look oh her for me: a) the fit, she is horrible about finding something that fits and accentuates and b) cheap shoes, Miranda has been known to wear cheap shoes with couture level creations and makes it look horrible. So Miranda wear this dress but tailor it to fit your body and then wear gold strappy sandals, and some gold drop earrings.

Taylor Swift never really disappoints on a major red carpet. Recently she has donned one of my favorite designers, Elie Saab, for most of her major red carpet appearance and I am wishing for her to wear this elegant blue Elie Saab Fall 2011 Couture cocktail dress. As Taylor is maturing she is straying from froufrou princess frocks and choosing elegant but still sexy (not slutty cough Miley cough Cyrus). To finish this look I would pair it with blue Salvatore Ferragamo peep toe pumps and some diamond and sapphire earrings to frost this stunning look.

Runway Review: Farah Angsana Spring 2012 RTW

Farah Angsana does a bunch of great red carpet stuff and is not nearly worn near often enough on the red carpet. She only has a small celebrity following including Ashley Tisdale, Katherine Heigl, and Ashley Greene. This collection was entitled "Oriental Enchantment" and it definately showed its Asian influences. Color pallate included blue, nude, white, orange, and pink. Below are my top three looks and who I believe who should wear them:

MTV Video Music Awards Wish Lists: Brittney Spears

 I know its a far stretch to ask Britney Spears to look well put to get her but hey I'm gonna try! Here I have a black and blue mini dress from Farah Angsana's Fall 2011 RTW collection. The dress is a mini dress which is a BSpears must have, but it is elegant. I could also see the costumers for Gossip Girl putting this dress on Serena Van Der Woodson (A.K.A. Blake Lively) for the show. I love the crystal details and the pattern they create on the dress and the way the colors fade from black to the blue.

I decided not to pair the look with fancy bling or have Britt carry a clutch just paired the look with a pair of black Giuseppe Zanotti strappy sandals with blue crystals to compliment the dress.
