MTV Video Music Awards Wish List: Florence Welch

 I freaking LOVE Florence Welch of Florence + the Machine!!! She always looks so amazing on the red carpet is things that many others would turn their noses up at and say why the hell would anyone wear that. I will admit that she has made me like more than a few thing that she has worn that I hated on the runway. For this even I choose to put Florence in one of her favorite designers Valentino. This gown is got this amazing 70s vibe from it and she rocks that style so often. I love the colors and I think that they would make the red tone of her hair just stand out!

To finish the look I added complimentary colors through a Kotur clutch, Nicholas Kirkwood sandals, Chopard earrings, and a Bulgari ring.

MTV Video Music Awards Wish Lists: Brittney Spears

 I know its a far stretch to ask Britney Spears to look well put to get her but hey I'm gonna try! Here I have a black and blue mini dress from Farah Angsana's Fall 2011 RTW collection. The dress is a mini dress which is a BSpears must have, but it is elegant. I could also see the costumers for Gossip Girl putting this dress on Serena Van Der Woodson (A.K.A. Blake Lively) for the show. I love the crystal details and the pattern they create on the dress and the way the colors fade from black to the blue.

I decided not to pair the look with fancy bling or have Britt carry a clutch just paired the look with a pair of black Giuseppe Zanotti strappy sandals with blue crystals to compliment the dress.

MTV Video Music Awards Wish List: Beyonce to wear Gucci

 Well everyone, as you read this I am currently unpacking or shopping for my dorm room or getting ready to put off good bye with my madre. Well enough about that. Beyonce is a 100% DIVA on the red carpet. The look in the reference picture is not the best look from her but was her last major red carpet appearance in a gown. Now Beyonce is known for sometimes taking a walk on the wild side which is why I choose this Gucci Fall 2011 RTW gown. I love B in red and I love B in black. The dress has a very significant plunge and has a sheer skirt. I think that the dress is sexy without being slutty. On to the accessories...

To compliment the very sexy dress I chose a Jimmy Choo crystal encrusted clutch, black satin pumps with a red satin bow from Christian Louboutin, 90 carats of Chopard diamond and ruby earrings, and a Cartier ring.

To all my fabulous readers I just want to let you know I will be on a brief hiatus as I am currently on a vacation before I move into my college dorm and start a new chapter in my life! I will have Wish Lists posted for the MTV Video Music Awards before it is time, maybe this will be better than that horrible red carpet at the Teen Choice Awards and it will be worthy of a review here on the site!!

Random Wish List: Keira Knightley

 Keira needs some help on the red carpet because she is either always in neutrals or wearing horrendous accessories (i.e. the black pumps with the cream Chanel Fall 2010 Couture dress pictured above.) So here are a few looks for her to try.  The first look is a black with hot pink and silver accents Chanel gown from the Fall Winter 2011 Couture collection, I have paired this look with a hot pink Chanel shell clutch, black sheer crystal encrusted Casadei pumps, and Chanel jewelry to complete the look. Look number two for Keria is also a Chanel ensemble but this gown comes from the Resort 2012 Collection. I know That it may seem hypocritical that I said she is wearing to much neutral then pick this cream gown but this gown has visual interest. I would pair this gown with a gold Chanel clutch and nude with gold studs Valentino sandals. Looks 3 & 4 are a stretch because they are not only bold color choices they are not either of Keiras favorite brands Chanel and Valentino whom she very rarely strays from. Look 3 is a stunningly dramatic bold gown from the Naeem Khan Pre-Fall 2011 collection, to accessorize this look I paired it with a black satin bow accented Chanel clutch, black Casadei peep toe pumps and Chanel Jewelry. The final look come from the Peter Pilotto Resort 2012 collection. This is a very bright ensemble and is a huge stretch for the woman who favors lots of dark and neutral colors. This look would be perfect for a photocall which is why I have just paired this look with aqua Brian Atwood peep toe pumps.

Random Wish List: Hailee Steinfeld

 Hailee Steinfeld has taken the fashion world by storm since she first stepped out in Marchesa Spring 2011 RTW at the Critics Choice Awards. She made it through awards season wearing designers such as Prada, Miu Miu, Prabal Gurung, and another Marchesa. But recently has been dressing beyond her teen years, so I have come up with four red carpet looks for her. To make it easier to visualize her in the dress I placed her head on the models body. X-D. The Blue Elie Saab Fall 2011 Couture mini dress is paired with a blue Judith Leiber clutch, Nicholas Kirkwood shoes, Loree Rodkin diamond earrings, and a Harry Winston ring; the Marchesa Resort 2012 cocktail dress is paired with an aqua Nancy Gonzalez clutch paired with aqua Brian Atwood peep toe pumps and matching Bulgari earrings; to top off the Miu Miu Resort 2012 ensemble I choose to pair it with a black and orange Alexander McQueen Union Jack clutch and orange Versace shooties; and last but not least I have paired the pink Oscar de la Renta Resort 2012 gown with a pink and purple butterfly Judith Leiber clutch, crystal encrusted Jimmy Choo sandals, Cartier chandelier earrings, and a vintage Van Cleef & Arpels diamond bracelet.

Teen Choice Awards Dress Picks: Rosario, Rosie, Selena, Taylor, and Zoe

Rosario always looks good in Christian Siriano and that is why I picked this dusty rose dress. She will most likely wear black Brian Atwood Manics but if she has to wear his shoes it would be preferred if she wore the Manics in silver or a pair of his strappy sandals in silver.

Rosie made a huge glamorous splash on the red carpet scene with the promo tour for Transformers wearing one stunning gown right after the other. One brand I cant wait to see her wearing is Versace, not because she needs Versace to be sexy, hell she can do that wearing a paper bag. The actress and Victoria's Secret model would bring the sexy in this black with yellow detail without making it look cheap. I would pair this look with yellow Casadei sandals and pulled back hair so the detail on the top is not hidden by her luxe locks.

Selena Gomez always dresses age appropriate and really doesn't need my advice because she does have a good team of gays working 24/7 to make her look the part of teen idol and not stray from that even as she transitions from Disney teen princess into a young woman. I choose this black and white Azzaro Fall 2011 RTW mini because it is sassy yet elegant and still age appropriate. I would add a pop of color to this look via a pink Jimmy Choo Lana clutch and black, white, and pink printed Nicholas Kirkwood booties.

Another person who has been doing a great job in the transition from teen pop star to young woman is Taylor Swift the girl who used to always be spotted in sequined embellished everything has been taking a much more demure approach to how she dresses lately. Knowing this is how I picked this red chiffon draped one shouldered Peter Som Resort 2012 cocktail dress. The dress makes such a statement that I would just pair this with a mirror style Kotur clutch and crystal embellished Christian Louboutin pumps.

 Zoe Kravitz is the daughter of icon Lenny Kravitz. She has worn couture in the past which is why I am comfortable sending this girl with a very bohemian spirit to the Teen Choice Awards wearing this Christian Dior Fall 2011 Couture dress. She should wear her hair loosely up and with a pair of Brian Atwood sandals.
