Haute Couture Wish List: Armani Prive

Fan Bingbing is the biggest thing to come out of China for the red carpet in many many years. She has wowed for three years straight at the Cannes Film Festival and at many other events in that time frame as well, attending almost all of them in Haute Couture. As of late Fan has been opting for a lot more edgier kind of looks so I think that this navy blue and black Armani Prive gown would be an absolutely amazing choice for the pale skinned Asian actress.

I should have known things were rocky with Katie Holmes marriage to Tom Cruise when the two of them stepped out at the 2012 Vanity Fair Oscar Party. Why? Because Katie looked the best she has since the day that she married Tom. Now that she is free of him I am already noticing that Katie looks better in just the candid shots of her going to the store and picking up Suri at school. So for her next red carpet appearance I am hoping she mends the relationship she had before Tom with Giorgio Armani so that she may wear this amazing midnight and navy blue gown.

Nicole Kidman has not worn Armani Prive in the past but I think that the statuesque Australian beauty should change that and don this amazing navy and midnight blue Fall 2012 Couture gown. I think that there are not many people that could pull off such a gown because you need height to wear it and make it look magical. Coming in at a staggering 5 foot 11 inches Kidman is one of the few that I could see pulling off this stunning creation and not letting it get lost in the archives forever.

Now Zoe Saldana is no stranger to Armani Prive, last year she rang in at number 7 on my best dressed of the year list in the desginer wearing a red and white creation for the 'Tree of Life' Premiere at the Cannes Film Festival. Hopefully the stunning Dominican beauty will grace us on a red carpet for a film festival or awards show wearing this amazing hand beaded blush strapless gown.

Haute Couture Wish List: Alexis Mabile

Alexis Mabille is a Parisian Haute Couture designer that does not see enough love on the red carpet. Over the past few years he has not had many red carpet outings but when he does they are usually really big starts like Keira Knightley and Dita von Teese (who both wore the SAME cocktail dress from the designers Fall 2008 Couture collection.) He has had many other celebrities such as Zoe Saldana, Julie Benz, and Ashley Greene all don his designs. I would love to see Kate Beckinsale discover Alexis as I think that this baroque Asian inspired black sequined cocktail dress would look sultry and sexy on the elegant and sexy star.

Katy Perry made a red carpet appearance earlier this year at the Clive Davis Pre-Grammy party wearing a hot off the runway Alexis Mabille Spring 2012 Couture gown paired with the matching runway flower fascinator. After that appearance I would love to see Katy wear this gunmetal and pale yellow gown from the designers Fall 2012 Couture collection (if she doesn't I sure hope Dita picks this up!)

Keira Knightley is the woman who gave light to Alexis back in 2008 at the London premiere of her film 'The Duchess.' Since that outing Keira has not worn the designer again and I do not understand why because back then she looked amazing in the dress and I think that if you find a brand you look good in you continue to go back to that designer, unless that brands ascetic changes. And although some things have changed it has been nothing major. I would love to see Keira wear this blue embellished Fall 2012 Couture gown with long sleeves and a v cut scoop neckline and long sleeves accented with a black shoulder bow. I think that this would look amazing on Keira who has the power to make this almost stuffy looking gown look absolutely effortless.

And last but not least we have Rihanna. I think that this long sleeved turtle neck gown with white piping detail is something that the singer/actress would gravitate towards for an event much like the American Music Awards or the Grammy's. I think that this a sophisticated bad ass chick written all over it, which is exactly the look that RiRi tends to show nowadays.

Haute Couture Wish List: Alexandre Vauthier

 Angelina Jolie is a hot sexy but sophisticated woman and Alexandre Vauthier creates sexy ensembles. I think that this one long sleeved white gown with a thigh high split and a gold neck detail is sexy and on Angie would be elegant yet still sexy option. The only thing that I would hope is that Angie doesn't pull the leg stunt that she pulled earlier this year at the Academy Awards.

 Diane Kruger is a red carpet diva who pulls out lots of different kinds of looks on the red carpet. I think that this white dress with a plunging neckline and peplum paired with a arm chain a la Janet Jackson would be an amazing look for her to rock for an awards show, premiere, or other red carpet event.

 Jennifer Lopez is the ULTIMATE diva on the red carpet and she has been not really hitting the notes on the red carpet that she usually does. I think that this gold long sleeved asymmetrical silk charmuse gown would help pull Jennifer out of the "style rut" that she has been in.

When Kylie Minogue takes to the stage she always looks absolutely amazing and I think that this would only be enhanced if she were to wear this amazing gold and silver completely emellished body suit. I think that this would look amazing on the stage under all the lights.
