Rita Ora for "X-Factor" UK Live Shows Wish List

I posted a wish list for "X-Factor" judge Cheryl Fernandez-Versini yesterday and talked about the epic fashion battles that are sure to go down over the course of this season between her and Rita Ora. I am honestly putting my money on Rita, she will most likely be bringing more couture to the stage and I am a sucker for loving couture. Rita its, much like Cheryl, love or loathe for me when it comes to her red carpet style and I am excited yet still with slight trepidation that it will be a complete disaster. I have picked some of Rita's favorite brands like Jean Paul Gaultier, Versace, Tom Ford, and Marchesa along with some of the brands I would love to see her wear during her run as a judge like Elie Saab, Cushnie et Ochs, Just Cavalli, and Ralph & Russo Couture. Rita will have the title of Best Dressed TV Personality if she takes these looks and doesn't overcook them.

#Cannes2015: Everyone Else Wish List

Dita von Teese loves Cannes, and the festival red carpet usually looks really good on the burlesque beauty. Usually around for the amfAR Cinema Against AIDS gala, Dita usually takes in at least one screening (most likely something from the Cannes Classics line up.) If Dita is going to take to the red carpet during Cannes I would love to see her look to the Ralph & Russo Fall 2015 Couture collection for her ensemble. This black and white cocktail ensemble with its voluminous skirt might be considered too short for the Cannes Film Festival rules of dressing but I think that the look actually fulfills the go big or go home mentality. The off the shoulder look is an over the top version of a 1950's couture ensemble and I think that Dita would slay that Cannes red carpet in this gown. Her go to beauty routine of black lacquered waves and red lip, finished with Chopard diamond chandelier earrings, a black Christian Louboutin clutch, and a pair of black Christian Louboutin sandals would complete this perfect red carpet ensemble for Dita.

Last year Eva Herzigova wore a Dolce & Gabbana cocktail dress on the red carpet for the Cannes Film Festival premiere of "Two Days, One Night." Not one to defy the Cannes dress code I would love to see the Czech model and actress give a take on the menswear trend and work this black and ivory Jean Paul Gaultier Spring 2015 Couture tuxedo. This might be a menswear inspired look but this look is all feminine, from the ivory silk pants to the floral embellishments on the lapel. I go back on forth, since Eva would most likely be a guest of Chopard, on whether or not I would pair this look with a statement necklace or a pair of statement earrings. With her shorter hair I would probably pick a statement necklace to go with this look. Finished with a pair of black sandals and a red lip then Eva would have a Femme Fatale look perfect for a Cannes Film Festival premiere.

Heidi Klum is a consistent face during the Cannes Film Festival, there are two traditions when it comes to designers that Heidi wears on the Cannes red carpet. One is Marchesa (which will come later when I do my amfAR wishes) and the other is Atelier Versace. Now Heidi wore the Atelier Versace Spring 2015 Couture collection for the Elton John AIDS Foundation Oscar Viewing Party, and it was basically a disaster. I am praying that Heidi will have a glamorous moment on the Cannes Film Festival red carpet. So I picked this silver Atelier Versace Spring 2015 Couture Swarovski crystal embellished gown, but it would need a few things to be red carpet ready for Heidi. The whole gown needs to lined, in what I would suggest be a silver silk, so that Heidi doesn't fall into tacky territory. Chic old Hollywood waves, a simple pair of diamond earrings, a pair of silver sandals, and a pink lip would ensure that Heidi has a winning red carpet ensemble on her hands.

Spanish supermodel Nieves Alvarez also usually runs to Cannes for at least one premiere. I am predicting that Nieves will do so yet again this year. If she does than we will most likely see her in one of two brand: Ralph & Russo Couture or Stephane Rolland Couture. I have decided to go with the latter. I am absolutely in love with this white Stephane Rolland Spring 2015 Couture long sleeved gown with a leather scale like bodice, illusion paneling, and white silk crepe mermaid skirt. I think that this gown is just begging for a strong woman who would evoke this gowns warrior spirit that this gown gives off. Finish the look strong with a wavy bob, emerald earrings, a red lip, a white Edie Parker, and a pair of silver sandals. Should Nieves do all that I can see her taking a spot on my Best Dressed of the Year list three years in a row.

I can't remember the last time that Paz Vega hasn't been on the red carpet during the Cannes Film Festival, and I am hoping that this year would be no different. I simply adore seeing the Spanish actress take to the red carpet. For a Cannes premiere I would love to see Paz wear this Elie Saab Spring 2015 Couture sheer black floral embellished long sleeved ballgown on the red carpet. While I am used to seeing Paz kill the red carpet in varying bold designs by Ralph & Russo and Stephane Rolland I think that this simple ball gown would be enhanced her pixie style. A pair of bold sapphire and diamond cluster earrings, a pair of black sandals, and a red lip would make this a magical red carpet moment for Paz during the Cannes Film Festival.

2013 Cannes Film Festival: L'Oreal Spokesmodel's Wish List Part 4

Evangeline Lilly has not been seen on the Cannes Film Festival red carpet since 2010 where she wore a stunning Valentino gown and a shocking Emilio Pucci cocktail dress on the red carpet. Evangeline has a very simple sense of dressing and I think that the three looks that I have picked for her would look amazing on her and would be contenders for her to wear. Of course we have my favorite look a stunning peach Elie Saab Fall 2012 Couture gown. I think that this would be the best option out of all the looks, not only because I am in love with this Elie Saab collection, because it would fit her body amazing and is a perfect mix of tomboy and glamour. Then we have a blush pink Reem Acra Pre-Fall 2013 gown. All the looks I have picked have sleeves because Evangeline has very broad shoulders and I think that these would downplay them like she tends to do on the red carpet. Finally we have the most predictable look a stunning Valentino Fall 2012 Couture blue on blue gown. I have been surprised that more of this collection hasn't been worn but I think that this would be perfect for Evangeline on the red carpet at the Cannes Film Festival.

In 2010 and 2011 Fan Bingbing was the Queen of the Cannes red carpet just showing up to the premieres looking fabulous wearing designs by Armani, Elie Saab, Versace, Valentino, Oscar de la Renta and many many more. Last year she only took to the red carpet at the Palais de Festivals twice once in a stunning Elie Saab couture creation and once at the opening ceremony in a modern take on a cultural gown like she has every year since she showed up on the scene. Well I do have a wish for her to wear for the opening ceremony but that won't be published until late April with the rest of the wishes for the ladies attending the Opening Ceremony of the festival. Here I have three looks I would love to see the Chinese beauty wear. Up first is a sculptural Armani Prive navy blue one shoulder gowns. Fan loves to wear big gowns but looks amazing in ones fitted close to her body and I think that the fit and the color on Fan would look stunning. Next I have a stunning yellow ball gown from the Elie Saab Spring 2012 Couture collection. Since I first saw this gown there is not a celebrity in the world that I can picture it on except for Fan. I am glad that she is not afraid to dig into archives to pull out gowns and this is one that needs to be seen. The last gown I have picked for the L'Oreal girl is this stunning wine colored Marchesa Fall 2013 RTW gown that was shown not shown on the runway but in the collection made available for sale through ModaOperandi.com. I think that this would have a large impact on the red carpet in Cannes because it is a classic silhouette with a modern twist with the peek-a-boo hemline.

Up last for today is Freida Pinto. The stunning Indian actress who was thrust into the international spotlight when her first film 'Slumdog Millionaire' became a hit with the critics and went on to win the Best Picture of the Year Award at the Academy Award in 2009. Since then she has been seen in several film festival films as well as the 2011 film 'Immortals.' Last year was Freida's first ever Cannes Film Festival and she rocked a bevy of glamorous looks from a host of designers such as Michael Angel, Atelier Versace (twice), Salvatore Ferragamo, and Paco Rabanne. I am hoping to see the stunning beauty again this year wearing a whole new batch of stunning designs. I think that this first look I have for Freida would make a huge statement, a stunning gold and white Alexander McQueen Fall 2013 RTW gown. I, of course, would not have her wear the strapless gown with the cape as it was presented on the runway but just the strapless ball gown itself. Then there is this amazing beaded Jean Paul Gaultier Fall 2012 Couture gown. This gown is a work of art and I can not believe that someone has not snatched it up yet. And finally we have a stunning red silk Marchesa Fall 2013 RTW gown with gold embroidery. Freida always looks stunning in red and it has been a long time since we have seen her wear a Marchesa design.

Best of Haute Couture Wish List

Alicia Keys has been giving me some amazing looks while performing this year putting her on the fast track to winning the Best Stage Style of 2013 Award. Alicia has worn some of Alexandre Vauthier's edgy looks before and usually wow's me when wearing these ensembles. I think that she would look amazing in this sculptural bustier and black pant ensemble for a performance.

Anne Hathaway has stepped onto the edgy train since she cut her hair as I know you are all aware as I keep saying it. Well it is because of this that I now really see her as a Versace girl. I think that this black Atelier Versace Spring 2013 Couture gown would look amazing on Anne and of course I would have the fur epaulettes removed.

Marion Cotillard has been stepping out of her Dior box for the non-major red carpet events lately and has been wearing a lot of looks by Bouchra Jarrar. I think that this black embellished bustier and navy pant ensemble from the Bouchra Jarrar Spring 2012 Couture collection would show us the sexy edgy side of Marion that we don't get to see very often.

Emma Stone has been a Chanel girl for quite some time never becoming a spokesmodel just a huge fan and I think that this white and floral gown would look stunning on the actress for a big red carpet event.

Diane Kruger is one of my absolute favorites on the red carpet always wears some of the most amazing couture looks that most would run the other way from. I think that she would be one of the very few that could rock this yellow Christian Dior Spring 2013 Couture gown. I think that this gown with the sheer illusion panel and this gown would take someone with Diane's diva attitude.

I do not think that this white Elie Saab Spring 2013 Couture gown will make it far into the year because of just how stunning it is, if its not at the Oscars it will be at the Cannes Film Festival. Eva Longoria would look absolutely stunning in this gown with or without the runway cape.

Zhang Ziyi has been stepping out on the red carpet a lot and recently had been going for a mix of either really edgy looks or very princessy looks and i think that this lime green Georges Chakra Spring 2013 Couture ball gown is a perfect mesh of these two styles and I think that she is one of the few that could pull this gown off.

Cate Blanchett has been working the red carpet like it owes her money lately and I think that she would look absolutely amazing wearing this silver Jean Paul Gaultier Spring 2013 Couture gown. This would be perfect for a movie premiere, film festival, or awards show.

Dita von Teese has been one of my absolute favorites on the red carpet because she brings this look of classic Old Hollywood. She was seated front row at the Ulyana Sergeenko Spring 2013 Couture show last week and this black and white gown would look spectacular on the stunning burlesque beauty.

And rounding out this top 10 is this pale gold and white Zuhair Murad Spring 2013 Couture baroque print ball gown to be worn by Kate Beckinsale. Kate has worn some amazing prints that most would run the other way from on the red carpet and I think that this gown would look amazing on her.

2012 Toronto Film Festival: Premiere Wish List Part 2

Chinese Actress Zhang Ziyi of 'Memoirs of a Geisha' and 'Rush Hour 2' fame to those in the USA will be screening her latest film 'Dangerous Liaison' based on the 1782 novel of the same name by Pierre Choderlos de Laclos. When Zhang was nominated for a Golden Globe she wore Armani Prive and then for the SAG Awards she wore Giorgio Armani and then for the Vanity Fair Oscar Party wore a stunning Valentino Couture gown. In Toronto you can get away with a stunning cocktail look or a simple gown and I have obviously opted for the later. Well for this year at the Toronto Film Festival I would love to see Zhang wear this stunning fully beaded Ralph Lauren Fall 2012 RTW spaghetti strap gown sans the runway jacket of course. Zhang first wore Ralph Lauren to the Ralph Lauren Vintage Cars Exhibition Launch Gala Dinner and then again for the premiere of her film 'The Devil Inside Me' in Shanghai so I think that this gold gown would be the perfect choice for the star. A gold Edie Parker clutch and some gold strappy sandals would be all needed to complete this stunning look.

Anna Kendrick continues to be one that I can not decide if I like or dislike on the red carpet wearing some things that are uber fabulous like Elie Saab Haute Couture but then she gives the rather cheap looking ensembles for other events. I know that she can not live in couture but others do dressed down rather well. For the 2012 Tornonto Film Festival I want Anna to wear this dusty raspberry Georges Hobeika Fall 2012 Couture cocktail dress. Anna always looks amazing on the red carpet when she is dressed in custom or couture so here she goes. The color would look amazing with her skin and hair tones. I would keep the look simple with a pair of Jimmy Choo strappy sandals and NOT, the much loved by Anna, Brian Atwood 'Manic' pumps in nude and that's it to keep the look simple.

Like Anna, Cody Horn will be in Toronto to promote 'End of Watch' with their costars Jake Gyllenhaal and Michel Pena. At the 'Magic Mike' LA premiere Cody donned a mix of three Jean Paul Gaultier Spring 2012 Couture items to create her look and then continued down the sexy route at the ESPY Awards wearing Cushine et Ochs and I would like to see a softer side of her for this event. It is because of this that I have picked this light and airy bubble gum pink Jean Paul Gaultier Resort 2012 chiffon dress with a structured cap sleeve. I think that this is sweet but with an edge coming through those strong shoulders. Add a silver clutch and a silver pair strappy sandals to complete the look.

We really haven't seen much of Annette Bening since she was nominated at the 2010 Oscars and this year at the Toronto Film Festival she has two movies showing, the first being 'Ginger and Rosa.' For this premiere I would like Annette to resort back to the man that designed her Oscar gown, Naeem Khan and this stunning gold and black striped Resort 2013 with flapper hem fringe. I think that this would be a sophisticated age appropriate look for the 54 year old actress. I would add a structured fitted tuxedo blazer unbuttoned, a pair of kitten heel Jimmy Choo gold sandals, and a gold clutch to throw the look into total hollywood glamour.

I always have a hard time with Christina Hendricks on the red carpet becuase she never dresses for her body type. She had a large voluptuous figure and does not know how to dress for it. The example that she should always go by is the lilac Zac Posen gown she wore for the 2010 Emmy Awards, the look accentuated her waist and showed off her decolletage in a sophisticated non-constricting manor and these are the main issues that Christina has on the red carpet. For the Toronto Film Festival Premiere of 'Ginger and Rosa' I have chosen to put Christina in this wine colored Zac Posen Resort 2013 dress but with a few much needed improvement for her figure. First I would have the long sleeves turned into just a cap at the shoulder and then have the pencil skirt made to fit straight down from her waist and not pulling in anywhere. Because Christina is still trying to figure out how to dress her body we will complete the look with a pair of black Christian Louboutin peep toe pumps and a black Judith Leiber clutch.

Where all the eyes will be at the premiere of 'Ginger and Rosa' will really be is on 14 year old Elle Fanning. Elle made a huge splash on the red carpet two years ago making her red carpet debut wearing Marc Jacobs at the Venice Film Festival and continuing to wear amazing looks and becoming the face of Rodarte in 2011. I think that the star will wear a Rodarte ensemble as she has not worn one of their complicated avant garde looks in quite some time and she is on the very short list of stars that actually get to. I have chosen this black and clay colored long sleeved dress from the Rodarte Fall 2012 RTW collection. I think that this look is totally within Elle's style and would complement her new hair color amazingly. Add a simple pair of black peep toes by Jimmy Choo or Nicolas Kirkwood sandals and this look is complete keeping all foucus on the stunning design.

Haute Couture Wish List: Jean Paul Gaultier

Gaultier kind of disappointed me this fall couture collection as there were only like 5 looks from the whole collection that I really liked, but I guess if just one look makes it on the red carpet I guess the collection is a success. I think that this beige and gold strapless gown would look absolutely amazing against the caramel skin tone of Halle Berry.

No one can pull of an edgy Jean Paul Gaultier gown like the stunning supermodel Karolina Kurkova. I think that this black structured bustier cap sleeve gown with a fishnet style fabric would be an amazing choice for KK to make for a music awards show or a film festival.

Kristen Stewart likes edgy looks to the fact that she has never worn a Gaultier design before except for a Vanity Fair photo shoot. Well I think that this year with the final installment of the 'Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 2' premiering I think that this would be a great look for the star who has really started to come into her own on the red carpet over the past year. The Victorian color scheme of this gown would look amazing on Kristen

Nicole Kidman is a huge fan of Gaultier, she wore a gown by him when she won her Oscar in 2002 and on several occasions since then. I think that this golden gown would look absolutely amazing on the fair skinned red head. This would be perfect for when she walks the red carpet standing by her husband, Keith Urban, at the CMA Awards or the American Music Awards

Cannes Film Festival: Opening Ceremony Gala Screening of 'Moonrise Kingdom'

The opening ceremony of the Cannes Film Festival brings together actors, actresses, brand ambassadors, mistresses of ceremony. judges, and many more. Berenice Bejo who was nominated for an Oscar for her role in the Best Picture winning film (which won Best Picture last year at Cannes) will be acting as this years Mistress of Ceremonies, whose job it is to host the Opening and Closing ceremonies. For her duties at the opening ceremonies I would love to see the actress wear this black embellished Elie Saab Spring 2011 Couture gown. It is not secret that Berenice loves her some Elie wearing him exclusively whiles promoting 'The Artist' last year and a handful of times during awards season including to the Oscars. I think that this gown would be stunning on the actress who should wear her hair up and will undoubtedly pair her look with Chopard (a sponsor of the festival) diamond earrings and then add a pair of black peep toe pumps.

Diane Kruger will also be on hand at this event as she is the token red carpet diva judge at this year (an honor bestowed upon Uma Thurman in 2011, Kate Beckinsale in 2010, and Asia Argento, Shu Qi, and Robin Wright in 2009) and she has some big shoes to fill, that I am sure she is only going to make larger. I would love to see Diane don this purple Jean Paul Gaultier Spring 2011 Couture gown for this event. Gaultier himself is a judge so I would not be surprised to see many of his creations on the red carpet throughout the festival and I am sure Diane will wear at least one gown by him. Pair this with a black crystal encrusted clutch, black strappy sandals, statement earrings, and a diamond bracelet and she will be best dressed.

I had to make a wish for Tilda, I mean she is the star of the film that is being shown during the opening ceremony. I crisscrossed between many gowns from great designers such as Alexander McQueen, Giambattista Valli, and Versace but I ultimately decided upon this tuxedo inspired Stephane Rolland Fall 2011 Couture jacket and skirt ensemble. There are only two women in the world who I think are daring enough to make this look work for them Tilda is one the other is Lady Gaga. I am hoping that Tilda makes use of this for a premiere before it is subjected to become runway to sidewalk wear on Lady Gaga. Tilda should wear this with a pair of bright shoes that match the stitching in an Olympia Le-Tan book clutch (which Tilda is a huge fan of) and a pair of dazzling diamond earrings.

On a side note I am sure that Salma Hayek will attend the opening ceremony she always does but I can not make a wish for her as I am 100% positive that she will wear a custom creation by Gucci Premiere.

Cannes Film Festival: L'Oreal Paris Spokesmodel Frieda Pinto Wish List

Frieda Pinto is an absolutely stunning woman who we have seen blossom in couture before our eyes since she was trust onto the scene after the unexpected hit success of her first ever film 'Slumdog Millionaire.' She has gone on to be a muse for Chanel, a L'Oreal Paris spokesmodel and all around stunning red carpet fashionista, so needless to say I am really excited to see if she attends the 2012 Cannes Film Festival for L'Oreal.

The first look I would love to see Frieda wearing is this stunning silver satin Chanel Spring 2010 Couture gown with a draped sleeve. This gown to me gives of a mix of Old Hollywood mixed with the idea of a traditional Indian sari, and I think that this would look stunning on Frieda who donned another gown from this collection for last years MET Ball. Pair this with a simple silver clutch and sandals and that is all that is needed. Next we have this stunning deep purple Jean Paul Gaultier Spring 2011 Couture gown that has a degrede train. I love Frieda in purple and I think that this is sexy while looking classy. Add a black clutch, black strappy sandals, diamond chandelier earrings, and a statement cuff with her hair pulled up and a smokey eye and she would ooooose sexual sophistication. Following that is another purple gown, this one a lavender tulle Marchesa gown with gold embellishment on the bodice. I think that this would look stunning on Frieda, like I said earlier I love her in purple and then add the gold this is the perfect mix for the stunning Indian beauty. Last but not lest we have this AMAZING emerald green Zac Posen Spring 2012 RTW gown. I think that this gown would just pop against Frieda's skin tone and bring this gown to life. Add a gold clutch and strappy sandals and I would be quite content.

2012 Grammy Awards Nominees Wish List: Nicki, Pink, Rihanna, and Taylor

Nicki Minaj is another hard one to predict what she is going to wear. I am hoping that the quirky rapper picks this white one sleeved trench coat dress, with a black bustier and lace slip from Jean Paul Gaultier's Spring 2012 Couture collection. I think that this collection is amazing for Nicki, as there are a bunch of Avant Garde looks that I could just see her dying over. With Nicki having an intense love for crazy high platforms, I would pick a pair of black leather and mesh Versace Spring 2012 shoes with a plexi platform.

I think I have found the best mix of Pink's punk style and old Hollywood glamour in this purple-y blue and red paillette encrusted Armani Prive Spring 2011 Couture gown. I think that Pink would rock this gown on the account that she always looks for that girl with an edge look and I think that this gown with its arch peplum detail is perfect for pink. I would recommend a rockabilly hairstyle and some red strappy sandals and just a pair of diamond studs to let the gown do all the talking with the attitude that she would bring to the red carpet are all that she needs.

I will not rest until I see Rihanna wear Atelier Versace. If you have not been following, I have really been on a campaign to get Rihanna to wear Atelier Versace; I have wished for her to wear the brand to the EMA's, AMA's, the Grammy Nominations Concert, and now the Grammy's. Well, here is my next effort by wishing for RiRi to wear this stunning orange gown. I love RiRi in bright colors because it really looks great against her skin tone and her hair. Rihanna would look absolutely amazing in this with just a pair of strappy gold sandals to accessorize her look.

Now many people won't like this wish for Taylor probably because they are all hoping that she is going to stray away from princess-ey gowns to stuff more suited for a mature lady. Well, I don't think that Taylor needs to wear a long sleeved high necked slit-less black gown just yet, I mean she is only 22. I think that this pink, green, and white floral gown would look stunning on Taylor and it is grown up and elegant all in the same step. Now, the thing I would like to see is Tay in less of is those overly sparkly numbers like she is pictured in on the left. Where Taylor can add her signature sparkle is through some amazing diamond bracelets and a sparkly green clutch, all that would be left is to add a pair of gold sandals.
