Teen Choice Awards Dress Picks: Olivia, Penelope, Reese, and Rihanna

Olivia has been in a style rut in my own opinion since her chocolate with gold crystal Marchesa ball gown at the 2011 Golden Globe Awards. She has been wearing a lot of head to toe black so that is why I picked this sportswear inspired zebra printed Michael Kors mini dress. Now I know it seems hypocritical to give her a dress that is black and white but I would pair this dress with an orange Nancy Gonzalez clutch, lime green and orange color blocked Brian Atwood peep toe pumps and I would pull her hair into a pony tail

Penelope Cruz is very unpredictable on the red carpet but she usually sticks to her favorite brands Oscar de la Renta, Armani Prive, and Chanel. That is why I picked this Chanel Resort 2012 dress, I know what your thinking that the Teen Choice Awards is no place to wear a Chanel gown. Well I would have her not wear the black underskirt and just the ivory and black wrap style dress. She should just pair this with black Christian Louboutin peep toe pumps.

Reese has also been in a style rut. This dress may look familiar to usual blog readers because it was in my wish list for Michelle Obama for the Fourth of July, well she didn't wear it. Reese is a huge fan of Zac Posens work and has worn his designs on several occasions. This is a very cute flirty summer dress. I would have her pair this with red and white striped with cork heel and platform Brian Atwood peep toe pumps.

 Rhianna is my daring diva so that is why I picked this black harness and white feather top and pants from one of my favorite designers Prabal Gurung. I would pair this look with black Burberry Prorsum stiletto combat boots and hair pulled back.

Teen Choice Awards Dress Picks: Maggie, Mila, Minka, and Natalie

Maggie usually in black in either Herve Leger or Tadashi so I picked Tadashi and she will pair the dress with black pumps I just know it.

Love the colors for her dark and moody which is what she does best pair with a pair of burnt orange pumps and a sleek clutch.

The "The Roommate" Actress should wear this embellished Balmain mini with gold strappy sandals of the Jimmy Choo Lance variety.

I bet Natalie wont show but if she does she should wear this red and black YSL dress with red heels and a black belt.

Teen Choice Awards Dress Picks: The K's and the L's

Katy Perry loves The Blonds (the Smurfette dress in the reference picture is by them). I chose this colorful fringe dress because the moment I saw it Katy's name screamed in my head. I would have her wear fuchsia Nicolas Kirkwood ankle strap sandals.

Its dark and a mini dress the two things that K Stew looks for in a dress I already know she will either wear black Christian Louboutin or Sergio Rossi pumps if she wore this so why bother finding a pair of heels that would be stunning when I know I'm gonna be let down in that department either way. NEXT!

OK so Kristen Wiig, I have no idea who she is, just know that she has been working a red carpet lately. She favors sweet ensembles which is why I choose this red Thakoon Resort 2012 dress. Sweet but sexy. I would give her a matching red clutch and red peep toe pumps.

Lea is a red carpet diva and a HUGE Oscar de la Renta fan. This feathered strapless dress is cute and perfect for her. I would pair this dress with grey embellished Jimmy Choo sandals.

Now after her trying to separate herself from her Gossip Girl character on the red carpet circa the fall of 2009 She has consistently gotten a whole lot better. I would love to see her in this Giambattista Valli dress and paired with yellow Burak Uyan Sandals, as she has not let me down in the shoe department in a very long time.

Teen Choice Awards Dress Picks: The Jennifers and Jordana

Its black, mini, and sleeveless which unless its in a nude or beigey color Jennifer would never touch it. I am so bored with her and I know that if she wore this dress she wouldn't wear a pair of gold sandals but a pair of black pumps probably of the Brian Atwood Manic style. NEXT!

Jennifer Lawrence started this year strong in designers like Louis Vuitton and Prabal Gurung, but finished her run in that horrible Calvin Klein at the Oscars. As Jennifer is about to start her promo tour for her new film based on the hit series of novels "The Hunger Games" Jenn will have to once again try to up her style. I picked this yellow and orange dress because I think that she would look stunning in it and would accentuate her new brunette locks perfectly. I would recommend a small drop earring and a pair of pale orange Burak Uyan sandals.

Now if anyone can bring the diva to the event it is JLo. I mean the green dress on the left is what she wore to meet the future king and queen of England! So I have established that JLo brings the diva to every outfit she wears and that would be no different with this silver and white stripped Cushine Et Ochos Resort 2012 dress. She should not shorten it or make it strapless just pair it with a hot pair of chandelier earring and electric blue Jimmy Choo sandals.

Last but not least for today we have Jordana Brewster. I choose this sexy yet classy red ruched Zac Posen Resort 2012 strapless cocktail dress. I would pair this dress with a red Alexander McQueen embellished clutch, red Christian Louboutin d'orsay pumps, and fancy diamond drop earrings.

Teen Choice Awards Dress Picks: Eva, Ginnifer, and Hailee

Resident sex kitten who has recently started to get her mojo back would looks STUNNING in this fringey flapper style Lanvin Resort 2012 dress. I don't usually agree with dressing someone off a runway head to toe in one designer but for this look I would pair this dress with a Lanvin striped peralized minaudire Resort 2011 clutch and a pair of gold Lanvin wedgeless wedges from the Fall 2011 RTW collection.

Ginnifer has a cutesie quirky style and is a fan of Christian Dior, which is why I choose this pale yellow full skirted mini dress. I would pair this dress with a Judith Leiber Fizzy clutch and Fendi tulle wrap plexi platform sandals.

Hailee is the current face of Miu Miu so it is expected for her to wear the brand for any major red carpet appearance. The Fall 2011 RTW collection does not translate well for the young star as it is targeted towards a much older audience so I picked this youthful dress from the Resort 2012 collection. This is a rare case again where she is pretty much obligated to wear the brand head to toe so I would pair it with matching raspberry Miu Miu sandals.

Teen Choice Awards Dress Picks: The Emmas

 Emma Roberts has been a horrible miss on the red carpet lately she needs to fire Aunt Julia's stylist and go for someone with a much younger ascetic. This orange pleated Christopher Kane Resort 2012 dress is perfect for her, she always has a clutch so I would pair it with a tribal knot Nancy Gonzalez clutch. She is also a huge Christian Dior fan which is why I would pair the ens amble with orange feather booties and would give it and edge.

 Emma Stone knows how to work a red carpet, and loves to work it in Giambattista Valli. I have chosen this bold red cocktail dress from the first ever Giambattista Valli Couture collection, Fall 2011. The dress is such a statement that I would just pair it with a pair of red Raphael Young pumps.

Emma Watson has become a red carpet diva as demonstrated by her daringness to wear the Bottega Veneta gown seen in the reference picture to the New York Premiere of the final installment of the Harry Potter series. I chose the Chanel Fall 2011 Couture dress for her sans the horrid boots instead she should just wear simple Alejandro Inglemo pumps and let the dress do all the talking.

Teen Choice Awards Dress Picks: B-C

The Gossip Girl Actress is known for her sexy style and ultimately sticking to brands like Marchesa,Versace, and Chanel; but every once in a blue moon she will call on Lanvin which is why I picked this mini for her. I love the detail on the left side and the way that the dress is structured. Blake is also 100% dedicated to the Christian Louboutin shoe brand so no matter what dress she wears you are guaranteed that she is wearing the famous red soles on her feet which is why I would pair this dress with a pair of gold studded Very Mix peep toe pumps.

Since the supermodel has become an actress in the film Just Go With It she has really disappointed on the red carpet. I would love her to wear this Benhaz Sarafpur Resort 2012 dress with a pair of blue and white strappy Diane Von Furstenberg Spring 2011 sandals.

Cameron Diaz has also been really letting me down on the red carpet. I still have yet to see Cameron in Elie Saab after she attended his Spring 2011 Couture fashion show except for the dress she wore to the after party. This blue mini dress shows off Cameron's best and favorite asset her legs but looks sophisticated at the same time. I know she wont wow in the shoe department probably wearing her favorite Casadei pointy toe pumps in black that she is wearing in the picture on the left.

I think that the Californication and Entourage star would looks simple and elegant yet stunning in the fire engine red Naeem Khan backless Resort 2012 number. I would just pair this dress with a pair of nude Christian Louboutin Peed toes or nude Jimmy Choo Sandals.

 

Carrie is a HUGE fan of Georges Chakra and has worn his designs on numerous occasions (the white dress in the reference images is by him). This Spring 2011 Couture cocktail dress has a long tulle train that comes off of that orange tulle mass. I would recommend that she removes the train but keeps the mass as it adds an amazing detail to the stunning couture dress. Carrie also loves Rene Caovilla shoes and should wear a pair of their crystal encrusted gold strappy sandals to complete her look.
