I have noticed that when she is on the road promoting her own films that Jennifer Garner does not bring the level of fashion that she does when she is playing the plus one to Ben Affleck. I don't know if it's pressure from producers or what but I feel that with each of her promo tours in the past year she has not given me anything to fall in love with. Even with that notion I still hold out hope that Jennifer will give a wow moment on the red carpet at the London Film Fest premiere of her film "Men, Women, & Children." This Jason Wu Resort 2015 modernist a-line halter gown would look stunning on Jennifer. I think that the icey blueish white color of this gown help give a clean feeling while straying away from what could look very bridal. Jason has been known to remake some of these gowns in other colors and I think that a rich royal purple would also look fantastic on Jenn. I would pair the icey blue gown with a pearl colored Edie Parker clutch, silver pumps, and simple jewels whilst switching in a pair of black pumps for the silver if the dress could be made in purple.

2014 London Film Festival: "A Little Chaos" Premiere Wish List
Kate Winslet has never been one of my favorites to see on the red carpet as she usually doesn't bring anything interesting to the event. With that in mind I picked this black dress from the Marylin Monroe inspired Jenny Packham Spring 2015 RTW collection that features crystal netting on the bodice and sleeves. This is her go to silhouette and color so that she would not be doing anything brand new which is to be expected. Wavy hair, red lips. and a pair of black Christian Louboutin pumps would undoubtedly finish off this red carpet ensemble.

2014 London Film Festival: "The Imitation Game" Wish List
I am kinda shocked that while Keira Knightley was at the Toronto International Film Festival that she did not wear a single Valentino ensemble for any of her six ensembles. Because of this fact I figure that Keira will most likely bust out her other favorite designer at the 2014 London Film Festival premiere of "The Imitation Game." This film took home top honors at TIFF and is mapping its course for the Academy Awards. The film is, at this point, in the running for nods for Best Picture, Best Actor (for Benedict Cumberbatch), and Keira is a positioned for a Best Supporting Actress nod. So for London I would love to see Keira to wear this amazing red Valentino Fall 2014 Couture Grecian draped gown that features a leather waistband. This would make a simple elegant statement for a premiere at a film festival that consistently lacks glamour. I would finish this look with a simple vintage inspired hairstyle, a red lip, and simple eye make up, and a pair of red pumps will finish this stunning red carpet ensemble off for the red carpet.

2014 New York Film Festival: "Birdman" Premiere Wish List
As the closing night Gala of the New York Film Festival I am sure that the cast of "Birdman" will be digging into the couture closets of the worlds most fabulous designers, again. Emma Stone, who right now Indiewire is saying is a good bet for a Best Supporting Actress nomination at the 2015 Academy Awards, worked the red carpet at the Venice Film Festival opening ceremony premiering this film wearing a stunning forest green Valentino Fall 2014 Couture gown, is the one that I am most looking forward to seeing take tot he red carpet at this premiere. I think that this beige to charcoal ombre Elie Saab Fall 2014 Couture cocktail dress that features a subtle cherry blossom print would make the perfect red carpet moment for Emma at the NYFF. This is a simple pretty dress but with Emma's banged hair in a chic loose up do, a pink lip, and some metallic grey sandals she would have a look that would wow fashion critics from here to Timbuktu.
Naomi Watts did not make it to Venice for the films premiere but I am hoping that she will take to the red carpet come the New York Film Festival. Like I said, Emma wore Valentino Fall 2014 Couture for the Venice premiere and killed it. I think that Naomi should pull her red carpet look from the collection. This white Grecian draped cocktail dress from the Valentino Fall 2014 Couture collection would look stunning on Naomi and I think that she would bring an elegant life to the red carpet in this ensemble. A bold turquoise Bulgari clutch that features stunning stone clasp design, a pair of gold sandals (to compliment the gold hardware of the bag itself), and a pair of stunning Bulgari statement earrings will ensure that Naomi has a killer red carpet moment at the NYFF.

2014 New York Film Festival: "Two Days, One Night" Premiere Wish List
Marion Cotillard will undoubtedly wear Christian Dior whilst promoting her film "Two Days, One Night" at the 2014 New York Film Festival. The film about a mother lobbying to keep her job amongst her co-workers is set to premiere on October 5, 2014. The film has been generating buzz for possible Best Foreign Language Film at the Golden Globe and Academy Award nominations, so Marion might be preparing herself for another awards season red carpet run. I think that this white Christian Dior Fall 2014 Couture fringe flapper-esque dress with a single blue spot would be an edgy yet beautiful choice for the actress who just can't seem to find her footing this year on the red carpet. I think that this is the perfect mesh between something edgy and avant-garde and something that is classic and elegant. This is a line that Marion tends to walk as she chooses her red carpet ensembles and this would be a successful look, but only if styled correctly. I would pair this look with just a simple pair of blue sandals to ensure that the dress does all of the talking and then finish the look off with a sleek vintage inspired updo and a red lip so that you definitely feel the vintage inspiration in the whole look. If she put the whole look together like I say then I think that Marion would have a truly great red carpet look on her hands.

2014 New York Film Festival: "Saint Laurent" Premiere Wish List
French beauty Lea Seydoux will take to the red carpet at the 2014 New York Film Festival to premiere her film "Saint Laurent" on Tuesday September 30th. The actress has stayed loyal so far thus year to Muccia Prada by only wearing Miu Miu and Prada on the red carpet. I would have expected her to break away and wear some custom Saint Laurent as the film is a biopic on the life and times of the houses late founder. Despite that I figure that Lea will wear yet another Muccia Prada designed frock for the films NYFF premiere. I saw the Miu Miu Resort 2015 collection and loved the idea of layering dresses which was done very chicly within this presentation but none of the full looks would I have picked for Lea to wear. So naturally what would I do? Pick two dresses from the collection that I would layer to give Lea the perfect red carpet look. I would put the flowing navy chiffon dress featured all the way right under the embellished suede shift dress to give a monochromatic statement that reads totally of the 1960's when the Saint Laurent house was founded. I would finish the look off with a silver box clutch, a chic up do, a bold red lip, and a pair of navy sandals to ensure that Lea gives perfect face on the NYFF red carpet.

2014 Deauville American Film Festival: "Get On Up" Premiere Wish List
While "Get On Up" has been playing in the United States for just over a month now the film will premiere at the Deauville American Film Festival on Friday evening. Academy Award winner Octavia Spencer joined the rest of her cast a few times at some casual premieres and junkets for the film. I am hoping that she will glam up with her go to designer Tadashi Shoji for the films Deauville American Film Festival premiere. Last Thursday Tadashi showed the Tadashi Shoji Spring 2015 RTW collection at the tent at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week in New York City. I would pick this nude lace and silk chiffon cap sleeve slowing gown for Octavia to wear for this red carpet. This is a simple yet elegant style that would work perfectly for this film festival premiere. Finish the look with a gold clutch and a pair of gold sandals to give Octavia a perfect red carpet moment.
Academy Award nominee Viola Davis has been pretty much exclusively wearing Escada on the red carpet this year, and unlike the Octavia/Tadashi exclusive paring the looks are just okay not stellar. I would love to finally see her join the cast at the Deauville American Film Festival wearing this stunning blue tone on tone Vivienne Westwood Resort 2015 taffeta gown that features the houses signature structured draping. I know many are sick of these style of gowns but when a new and interesting style comes along I immediately want to see it on the red carpet. I would finish this look with a dark blue Edie Parker clutch, black sandals, and some simple diamonds accessorize this look perfectly for the red carpet. A chic curly bob and a red lip would complete this elegant classic red carpet ensemble.

2014 Toronto International Film Festival Wish List Part 3
The fall will show the return of Elizabeth Banks on the red carpet. As one of my favorite red carpet stars I can not wait for her to bring her sense of style back onto my computer screen. Headed to the Toronto International Film Festival to premiere her film "Love & Mercy" I am really praying that the best unofficial brand ambassador for Versace will grab up this electric blue one shoulder jumpsuit from the Atelier Versace Fall 2014 Couture collection. What I love so much about EBanks is that she can work edgy ensembles just as easy as she does the floating ladylike sophisticated styles. This is definitely an edgy look but I think that TIFF is a perfect platform for this ensemble to be worn. A pair of black sandals, hair styled into a a sleek pony, and some simple makeup would finish this ensemble off perfectly for the "Love & Mercy" TIFF premiere.
After being seated front row at the Christian Dior Fall 2014 Couture presentation it would not surprise me if Rosamund Pike chooses a look from the collection for her TIFF premiere of "Hector and the Search for Happiness." Rosamund is gearing up to start a few long months of doing the promotional song and dance as he has a few films coming out, one of which is gaining some serious Oscar buzz. With all that in mind I would love for her to start on a sweet note wearing this baby pink Christian Dior Fall 2014 Couture cocktail dress. This dress gives a very 1950's housewife vibe to me by way of Raf Simons modernism and I think that Rose would look absolutely stunning. I would change the waist band to just be a sold silver metal belt, and add a pair of silver embellished pumps to accessorize this look perfectly. A vintage inspired hairstyle and a red lip would just be the ideal finishing touches for this TIFF premiere ensemble.
Toni Collette is not one of my favorite ladies to see take to the red carpet, as she usually leaves me felling uninspired, but none the less she will most likely stand next to Rosamund Pike to promote their film "Hector and the Search for Happiness" at the Toronto International Film Festival. Having worn Sally LaPointe twice this year while promoting films I was inspired to put Toni in this black Sally LaPointe Fall 2014 RTW black silk gown with a trapeze blouse. I saw this gown walk during New York Fashion Week back in February and it just hugs the body and would look so sleek and sophisticated on Toni for this TIFF premiere. I would slick Toni's hair back into a sleek pony tail and give her a red lip as the beauty styling for this ensemble. Accessorized with a black clutch and black pumps Toni would have her best look of the year in a very simple sleek way.
Jessica Chastain will be at the 2014 Toronto International Film Festival to premiere her film "Miss Julie." Jessica has 3 films listed on the Indiewire 2015 Oscar Predictions that could earn her a Best Actress nomination. Out of 22 names on this list Chastain has all of her films ranked in the top 10. Needless to say Mrs Chastain will also be starting her Academy Awards song and dance at TIFF. For her "Miss Julie" premiere I would love to see Jessica give me something a little different, since she has the new bangs and all, and this Valentino Fall 2014 Couture embellished tulle cocktail dress would definitely do that. I would figure that Jessica would have the dress semi lined so that it was not quite as sheer as it is on the runway, but I personally would leave it as it is. Finish the look with a pair of metallic navy sandals and a red lip and Jessica will wow me like she normally does on the red carpet for the TIFF premiere of "Miss Julie."

2014 Toronto International Film Festival Wish List Part 2
Greta Gerwig is quickly becoming a fashion darling. This year alone she has worn custom Donna Karan Atelier, Lanvin, Theory, Narciso Rodriguez, and Stella McCartney, attended a few dinners hosted by Chanel, and was the date of Zac Posen at the CFDA Awards. This just makes me that much more excited to see what Greta is going to keep bringing to the red carpet. Greta will be making the film festival rounds promoting her film "Eden" starting at the Toronto International Film Festival. For the "Eden" premiere I would love to see Greta wear this green Stella McCartney Fall 2014 RTW strapless bustier and tapered pant ensemble. I love this bustier that features draping of not just fabric but the signature fringe of Stella's Fall 2014 collection. There have not been many successful outings of this collection but I do think that Greta can pull this look of with great aplomb. I would keep the styling simple with a pair of dyed to match forest green pointed toe pumps and a gold minaudiere clutch so that the focus is mostly on the stunning bustier.
While I have to say that I am most interested in what "Men, Women, & Children" leading male, Ansel Elgort, will wear for the TIFF premiere of the film, I am also hoping that Jennifer Garner will take to the red carpet to premiere the film as well. I tend to believe that Jennifer looks her best when she is wearing Oscar de la Renta and I am hoping that she will wear the designer for this premiere. Now I am sure that you will see this a lot on the blog in the coming days, but I figure that Jenn will grab a hot off the runway look from the designer as he is presenting his Spring 2015 Collection this coming week. If she wears something that has already been presented I would love to see her wear this blue and green polka dot on silk tulle Oscar de la Renta FALL (sorry it was a typo in the image editing) 2014 RTW collection. If I know Jennifer's style well enough I know that she would pair this look with a pair of black pumps and some simple jewels to finish off this look for the red carpet.
I know very little when it comes to Holliday Grainger's red carpet style and even less about her acting abilities. I do know that she is a British born actress who has had some rolls in "The Borgias" and "Great Expectations." Next year Holliday will have to hold her own on the red carpet next to Cate Blanchett while they promote "Cinderella" with Lily James and Helena Bonham Carter. I figure we will see Holliday represent a British brand when she premieres her film "The Riot Club" at TIFF this year. This strapless Nicholas Oakwell Spring 2014 Couture tea length gown embellished with white and pink beaded florals would be a sweet elegant choice for Holliday to wear for her first major major red carpet. I would finish this look with a pair of hot pink pumps and a sleek hairstyle to ensure that Holliday wears the gown and the gown does not wear her.
We are about to see a whole hell of a lot of Natalie Dormer on the red carpet. The "Game of Thrones" actress is presenting "The Riot Club" at TIFF and then will go on to promote "The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1." I can honestly say that I am very excited to see what Natalie is going to bring to the red carpet coming up. For the most part Natalie has worn British brands on the red carpet and it will be interesting to see if she keeps it up. I am predicting that for the TIFF premiere of "The Riot Club" Natalie should wear this Roksanda Resort 2015 cocktail dress that consists of a bright yellow and navy sculpted one shoulder blouse and navy tone on tone pencil skirt. Natalie has the presence to ensure that this dress would overwhelm her. Paired with a pair of nude pumps, a sleek hairstyle, and a pink lip Natalie would rock the TIFF premiere of "The Riot Club"
We have not seen much of Amanda Seyfried on the red carpet since the 2013 Awards season where she promoted "Les Miserables" with the rest of her cast, so I was really excited to see her name amongst those that have films premiering at TIFF. When it is not Awards Season or the Met Ball we tend to see Amanda rock shorter lengths and that is probably what she will do when it comes to the TIFF premiere of her film "While We're Young" but I have remained optimistic and decided to pick this light sky blue Nina Ricci Resort 2015 gown with a shirred blouse. This is a simple gown that directly relates to Amanda's laid back sense of style. I could also see this gown being shortened to a cocktail dress if Amanda so deemed it worthy. A gold clutch and gold pumps would be the simple accessories that I would add for this gown. Finishing the look with a fresh face of simple makeup and a simple updo to showcase all the bodice detail would be the way to go to ensure that Amanda ends up on every best dressed list.
Naomi Watts has either made my heart skip a beat or made me want to hide my head in shame when she has taken to the red carpet this year. I am hoping that when she steps out for the TIFF premiere of her film "While We're Young" with Amanda Seyfried that Naomi makes my heart skip a beat. I would have that moment if she were to wear this stunning cream Altuzzara Resort 2015 draped gown. It looks as if the fabric that this gown is made in is very stiff and I think that means that it has to be impeccably tailored for Naomi so that it doesn't end up looking like a giant potato sack on Naomi. If she has this gown tailored and pairs it with a statement gold sandals and a gold clutch, sleek hair, and a red lip then I believe that Naomi would shut down the TIFF red carpet with a stunning ensemble.

2014 Toronto International Film Festival Wish List Part 1
"The Judge" will be the first major Gala during the 2014 Toronto International Film Festival. Quickly moving up the glamour scale (which goes from Tribeca to Cannes) TIFF is becoming a celebrity hot spot. I am not even going to be able to cover all of the stars that will be taking to the red carpets in Toronto during this festival, but I will do my best to cover a lot of them. Leighton Meester stars alongside Robert Downey Jr. and Billy Bob Thornton in "The Judge" and I am really hoping that the actress, who has had a killer red carpet year, will walk the red carpet for the films TIFF Premiere. If she does so I would love to see Leighton wear this black to purple Elie Saab Fall 2014 RTW floating chiffon gown which features a sporty racer neck, a sexy thigh split, and an open back. I would keep this look sleekly styled with a black Rauwolf gem clutch, a pair of black Stuart Weitzman 'Nudist' sandals, and a pair of simple diamond earrings so that this looks just exudes contemporary sexy elegance. A sleek hair style and a smokey eye would be the perfect final touches to ensure that Leighton lands on the Best Dressed list.
Vera Farmiga has had an up and down year so far on the red carpet and I hope that she pulls something amazing out when she takes to the red carpet at the Toronto International Film Festival alongside Leighton Meester, Billy Bob Thornton, and Robert Downey Jr. to premiere "The Judge." Vera usually wears a lot of black, only very recently breaking out into a few bold blues and reds on the red carpet. So I would not be surprised if Vera opts to wear black yet again while at TIFF. I would love to see that actress go for something sweet but edgy like this black Lanvin Resort 2015 jumpsuit which features a lace long sleeve blouse and silk tapered pants and a bow at the waist line. I think that this is something different for Vera and that she would look stunning wearing this ensemble. A black clutch and a pair of black Christian Louboutin pumps would be the perfect accessories for this look rounding it all out with a red lip would be the perfect way to bring it during TIFF
Also premiering on the opening day of TIFF is "The Humbling." When the film premiered this weekend at the Venice Film Festival none of the lovely female stars took the journey to the Italian city for the red carpet. I am praying that this is not going to be the case come Toronto. As it is a daytime premiere but still for a film festival I picked this electric blue Bibhu Mohapatra Resort 2015 blouse and skirt ensemble for star Greta Gerwig to wear for the premiere of the film. This is a look that translates very well from day to evening which is perfect for this films TIFF premiere. I would pair this look with a blue Edie Parker clutch and a pair of black sandals to ensure that none of the look is competing with each other. Greta should style her hair in a sleek top knot and throw on a red lip color to ensure that she has the perfect red carpet ensemble.
Kyra Sedgwick was not at the Venice Film Festival premiere of "The Humbling" either and I am hoping that she does make the trip to Toronto as she used to be a favorite to see on the red carpet. I would pick this black J. Mendel Resort 2015 top and pants ensemble that features silver brocade cap sleeves and a purple waistband. Some might say that this look is too young for Kyra but I think that she would look stunning, sleek, and modern wearing this J. Mendel ensemble. I would just add a light pink lip and a pair of black pumps to finish off this ensemble for Kyra.
Gong Li exclusively wore Roberto Cavalli while she was at the Cannes Film Festival promoting her film "Coming Home," which will get its big TIFF premiere on Friday. I am hoping that Gong reaches out to other brands for this film festival. As much as I love Roberto Cavalli, I really think that Gong has the potential to wow me and I would love to see her rock so many different brands. For the TIFF premiere of "Coming Home" I would love to see Gong wear this midnight to sky blue Elie Saab Fall 2014 Couture ombre gown. I think that this is an elegant gown which isn't too much for the TIFF red carpet but glamorous enough to ensure that Gong stands out amongst all the various red carpets during the course of the festival. A pair of silver sandals and some simple Chopard diamonds will ensure that Gong is perfectly styled for her big premiere.
And last but not least for today I have a wish for Octavia Spencer to wear for the premiere of her film "Black & White" on September 6th. For the most part, with very little variation, Octavia remains loyal to Tadashi Shoji the man that dressed her through her Academy Award campaign, which she ultimately won. I do not suspect that Octavia will opt for any other designer for this major film festival premiere. I just don't know what she will pick to wear. I have my bets that she and Tadashi are working on something custom based upon the designers Spring 2015 RTW collection that will be presented soon during New York Fashion Week. And well since I cant foresee the future I dove into the Tadashi Shoji Fall 2014 RTW collection and found this stunning teal lace cocktail dress that I think would look stunning on Octavia. She doesn't wear many bright colors so I think that this would be a stunning step out of her comfort zone. I think that Octavia would have the look slightly modified to that there was a slight cap sleeve to cover her arms, but other than that I think that this would make for a perfect TIFF premiere ensemble.
