2012 Grammy Awards Performer Wish List

Katy Perry has a track record for releasing albums every two years, and if this remains the trend, then this year she will be releasing a new album. Will the Grammy Awards be the platform for Katy to release her first single from that new album? I hope so; I am so excited for her to perform. If Katy releases a new single, it will most likely be an upbeat song as they usually do well as first hits, so she will need something that she can really move in, which is why I picked this blue bustier with lots of fringe from The Blonds Fall 2011 RTW collection. I think that Katy would rock this look like no other; I also imagine that she would wear blue Louboutins with this maybe like these spikey sandals. Whatever she wears I am still really excited for her performance.

I am still trying to figure out what all the performers are going to perform on Sunday night at the Grammy Awards. I know for a fact that Rihanna will be performing with Coldplay and I don't know how it is going to mash together with their music and hers. Either way, I would DIE if she wore this black Jean Paul Gaultier Spring 2012 Couture jacket dress with pink lapels and a pink cape. I think that the newly blonde singer will look absolutely amazing in it, and I think that RiRi would pair this with a pair of corset strap thigh high Christian Louboutin boots, that maybe are crystal covered.

Jessica Beil Premiere Wish List

Jessica Biel is not one of my favorites on the red carpet, just for the fact I feel like she doesn't put enough effort into how she looks; she picks stunning amazing clothing, but when she accessorizes them and then styles her hair and make-up, there is always at least one element that doesn't work. First thing I am going to ask Jessica to do is to cut and dye her hair. I think she needs to have shorter hair maybe in the very hot 'Lob' (Long Bob) hair style and with a caramel light brown hair color, I feel that her dark locks always end up looking greasy and untamed.

Now on to the clothes! First look I have for Jessica is this black and white completely embellished Giambattista Valli Fall 2011 Couture dress. I absolutely love this dress as this was always one of my favorites from the collection. Jess should just pair with a pair of black strappy Christian Louboutin sandals and a white and black diamond cocktail ring, a light smokey eye and simple sheer lips would be perfect for this look. Next is a Jason Wu Pre-Fall 2012 blue and black jacquard print embellished strapless cocktail dress, I think that this is perfect for a photocall or premiere. All I will add with this look are a pair of black strappy sandals and a blue embellished clutch would complete this look. And finally, I have this purple and red swag fringed scoop neck Salvatore Ferragamo Spring 2012 RTW cocktail dress. I think that Jessica would look great in this dress (even though I have always wanted Zoe Saldana to wear it) but I feel she would kill it with her accessories. I would just pair it with simple red sandals as anything more closed would be too heavy for this dress,

Christina Ricci Premiere Wish List for 'Bel Ami'

Christina Ricci is one of those celebrities that are absolutely stunning, can wear the most avant garde of designs (much like the Zac Posen gown she wore to the Met Ball last year) and make them look extremely mainstream and simple. Christina is going to start up the promotional tour for her newest film, which is another period piece, Bel Ami. Christina Ricci co-stars with Robert Pattinson, Uma Thurman, and Kristin Scott Thomas in this film where Pattinson's character rises up in society by manipulating the women of power within Parisian society in the 19th century.

Christina may only make one appearance in a city while promoting this film, as she does have other power stars in this film with her, even if I wish that each of them would show up in every city. I am actually going to show my wishes for each girl in each city. For the grand LA premiere (which I really hope they all step out for), I would love to see Christina in this black and white Bottega Veneta layered chiffon gown from the Spring 2012 RTW collection. I think that this is something that Christina would wear this gown and look absolutely stunning in it. A pair of black strappy Christian Louboutin sandals and a black crystal encrusted clutch would send this into best dressed territory. For New York, I would like to see Christina go for a cocktail ensemble by wearing this stunning Zac Posen Spring 2012 RTW maroon strapless dress with a full skirt. A pair of gold strappy sandals and a gold clutch would be a great way to complete this look. And for London, I would like for Christina to wear an Alexander McQueen Spring 2012 RTW black lace high necked rise and fall hemline gown. I think that this is a great look for Christina as it is modern yet dramatic with a hint of antiquity. I would ask her to keep it elegant with simple matching accessories that would keep this look refined and not heading into tackyville.

2012 Grammy Awards Nominees Wish List: Nicki, Pink, Rihanna, and Taylor

Nicki Minaj is another hard one to predict what she is going to wear. I am hoping that the quirky rapper picks this white one sleeved trench coat dress, with a black bustier and lace slip from Jean Paul Gaultier's Spring 2012 Couture collection. I think that this collection is amazing for Nicki, as there are a bunch of Avant Garde looks that I could just see her dying over. With Nicki having an intense love for crazy high platforms, I would pick a pair of black leather and mesh Versace Spring 2012 shoes with a plexi platform.

I think I have found the best mix of Pink's punk style and old Hollywood glamour in this purple-y blue and red paillette encrusted Armani Prive Spring 2011 Couture gown. I think that Pink would rock this gown on the account that she always looks for that girl with an edge look and I think that this gown with its arch peplum detail is perfect for pink. I would recommend a rockabilly hairstyle and some red strappy sandals and just a pair of diamond studs to let the gown do all the talking with the attitude that she would bring to the red carpet are all that she needs.

I will not rest until I see Rihanna wear Atelier Versace. If you have not been following, I have really been on a campaign to get Rihanna to wear Atelier Versace; I have wished for her to wear the brand to the EMA's, AMA's, the Grammy Nominations Concert, and now the Grammy's. Well, here is my next effort by wishing for RiRi to wear this stunning orange gown. I love RiRi in bright colors because it really looks great against her skin tone and her hair. Rihanna would look absolutely amazing in this with just a pair of strappy gold sandals to accessorize her look.

Now many people won't like this wish for Taylor probably because they are all hoping that she is going to stray away from princess-ey gowns to stuff more suited for a mature lady. Well, I don't think that Taylor needs to wear a long sleeved high necked slit-less black gown just yet, I mean she is only 22. I think that this pink, green, and white floral gown would look stunning on Taylor and it is grown up and elegant all in the same step. Now, the thing I would like to see is Tay in less of is those overly sparkly numbers like she is pictured in on the left. Where Taylor can add her signature sparkle is through some amazing diamond bracelets and a sparkly green clutch, all that would be left is to add a pair of gold sandals.

Academy Awards Nominees Luncheon Wish List

Every year everyone who is nominated for an Oscar gathers together in a room and has a lunch and there are publicity images taken, so these women nominated for their acting achievements need to look top notch. Berenice Bejo is nominated for Best Supporting Actress in the film 'The Artist.' I think that Berenice should wear this black Elie Saab Pre-Fall 2012 dress with a lace panel and a hip peplum. I think that this is such an elegant look and as Berenice is not the favorite to win she should be a little understated. A pair of strappy black Louboutin's would be the perfect top to this look.

Jessica Chastain has a love of white and I can not dock her for that as I think that it looks stunning on her with her red hair. I have chosen this white lace Marchesa Spring 2012 Bridal dress for this event. I think that it is elegant and refined perfect for a luncheon. I pair of silver heels, the hem slightly risen, and maybe a waist band along with a blue casual clutch would complete this look.

Michelle Williams is one of the three women that are nominated for Best Actress that people who are not sure who will win, the other two being Meryl Streep and Viola Davis. So I think that Michelle needs to make sure that she looks 100% on top of her game. Last year Michelle wore a black top and beige skirt from Chanel. This year I want her to wear this Jason Wu Spring 2012 RTW dress with a light grey top and pink peplum skirt. I think that this is an amazing look for Michelle and she would own this look like no other. A simple pair of silver peep toe pumps are all that is needed to complete this look.

Octavia Spencer will most likely attend the Academy Awards Nominees Luncheon wearing Tadashi Shoji who as dressed her all awards season. I am hoping to see her change it up for this event by wearing this stunning blue and purple print Zac Posen dress. I think that this dress would look stunning on Octavia as the colors are all colors that she has worn in the past month during her awards season run. I would pair this look with her hair worn down with waves and a pair of nude pumps would make this look perfect for the occasion.

Rooney Mara is probably the only actress of all of these is probably the only one of them that could get away with wearing couture to a Luncheon. I would love to see the stunning actress wear this ruffled Chanel Fall 2011 Couture black dress for this event. I think that this is the perfect choice for her and if she doesn't wear it to the Luncheon that maybe she will wear it at one of the Pre-Oscar parties or Post-Oscar bashes. Just a cute pair of simple black sandals would be all that Rooney needs to complete this look.

Viola Davis is my pick for Best Actress for her role in 'The Help' which was an absolutely amazing film and I truly do wish that she picks up her little gold man on February 26th. So for the nominees luncheon I would recommend that she wear this stunting grape purple Angel Sanchez Spring 2012 RTW dress. If she does wear this it may be a little to formal for the event and to tone it down I would just have her put on a black blazer and pair the dress with some black strappy sandals to complete this award winning look.

Catherine Zeta Jones Wish List

I love to see Catherine Zeta Jones on the red carpet, and I don't see her step out nearly as much I would like for her to. Maybe if I give her some clothing ideas, maybe, she will step out and wear them for me.

The first look I have for the stunning Welsh beauty is this amazing red lace one shouldered Romona Kevesa Spring 2012 RTW cocktail dress. I love it when she wears fitted clothing, as she has a banging body and red looks amazing on her. A red satin clutch and red peep toes would be absolutely amazing for this amazing sultry sexy ensemble. The next look is this black and white color blocked Monique Lhuillier Spring 2012 RTW dress; I think that this is 100% Catherine and she would AMAZING in it. I would add a bejeweled clutch and black peep toe pumps to complete this look. And last, but not least, I have this stunning blue Elie Saab Spring 2012 RTW dress. I think that this dress is the most of her style out of all three of these, which makes it the most feasible to see happen on a red carpet near you. A matching blue clutch and pumps would be how to accessorize it correctly for Catherine.

2012 Grammy Awards Nominee Wish List: Fergie, Katy, Kelly, and Gaga

I am actually looking forward to seeing Fergie walk the red carpet at the 2012 Grammy Awards, as she is never predictable when she steps out. I would DIE if Fergie took my advice and wore this blush peach colored Alexander McQueen Spring 2012 RTW dress. I think that Fergie would look stunning and she knows how to work a sexy look like this without making it slutty. To accessorize this look, I would add a metallic gold clutch and gold strappy platform sandals.

Can I say how much I wish for Katy Perry to just pick a hair color? I mean something that goes with more than three colors PLEASE Katy PLEASE, go back to black, or I can even stand you as a blonde, but please enough with the crayola box colors PLEASE. This new blue hair color made it extremely hard for me to pick a gown for her to wear on the Grammy red carpet. I ultimately decided to go with this white Georges Chakra Spring 2012 Couture embellished gown. I love this gown and think, even though I picked it out of the fact it wouldn't clash with her hair, but in all retrospect it is still Katy's style. I would pair this look with a silver crystal encrusted clutch, silver crystal encrusted sandals, and some amazing diamond and sapphire jewelry.

I am very wishy washy when it comes to Kelly Rolland on the red carpet, she is not exactly the most fashion forward gal, or getting lots of designer couture thrust upon her. During her run as a judge on the British version of The X-Factor, one of Kelly's best looks came courtesy of a gown lent to her by John Galliano from the spring 2012 RTW collection. I took that gown into consideration when formulating her wish, so I decided to put her in another gown from the collection. As this is the Grammy's, Kelly can get away with wearing this Galliano gown with just a strapless black bodysuit underneath as she wears the sheer over-gown. A black crystal encrusted clutch and black strappy Christian Louboutin sandals would make Kelly look stunning.

Last, but not least for the day, we have my wish for Lady Gaga. Well, I know it is almost impossible to predict what Lady Gaga is going to wear, well ever. I am making a wish for her to wear this Christian Dior Fall 2011 Couture ensemble, ruffle collar and clown hat in all. I think that this ensemble is extremely with in Gaga's style and I know she would rock in with some crazy high shoes and amazing wigs and make up. This would be a great start to one of the many costume changes, that Gaga will most likely wear, on musics big night next Sunday night.
