Runway Report: Roland Mouret Resort 2015

Roland Mouret makes most of his sales off the items that come out of the Resort collection, which means that he makes it more wearable everyday and plays when he shows his Spring and Fall collections during Paris Fashion Week. I will say I am extremely excited to see how this Roland Mouret Resort 2015 will fair on the red carpets. I think that this collection will go over extremely well on red carpets and interviews all over the world as the lines and silhouettes are extremely flattering and any woman can wear a Roland Mouret design. Mint, Aqua, Black, Peach, Sherbert, Robbins Egg, White, Grey, and Red make up the color palate that makes this collection just that much more desirable.

Runway Report: Christian Siriano Resort 2015

Christian Siriano looked to Teil Duncan’s colorful and abstract paintings as well as Tokyo’s sakura season, which he experienced for the first time earlier this year, when he was creating his Resort 2015 collection. A collection filled with bright bold pieces that would make any jet set lady envious made up of a variety of tops, trousers and jackets for day, as well as romantic and playful cocktail dresses and gowns for evening. Duncan’s graphic colorful nudes and whimsical beach scenes helped set the tone for this playful and powerful collection. Patterns such as bright floral brocades, bold graphic stripes and oversized petal leaf prints added a modern edge to the classic shapes that create this collection. This collection has to be one of the best red carpet worthy Resort collections that Christian Siriano has put out and I cannot wait to see these stunning creations worn at biggest red carpet events.

Runway Report: Donna Karan Resort 2015

After not being thrilled with the Fall 2014 RTW collection, Donna Karan has given me an absolutely breathtaking collection for Resort 2015. I am loving everything about this absolutely stunning collection. This Resort collection can go from the streets to the wedding aisle and can get in basically anywhere in between. While since the launch of Donna Karan Atelier there have been less and less gowns from the Donna Karan runways taking to the red carpet. It would be sin for these creations to not get their day in the light. Stone grey, gold, black, peach, and lemon made this an elegant and breezy collection that would look absolutely stunning on and off the red carpets of the world.

Runway Report: Tory Burch Resort 2015

Almost every collection (Spring, Fall, Pre-Fall, and Resort) seems like a Resort collection when presented by Tory Burch. They all have a light breezy air about them. The Tory Burch Resort 2015 collection is along the same lines. This collection with its muted tones and classic patterns would not look out of place in resort towns like Cannes or Saint-Tropez. The buttery yellow, cornflower blue, dusty brown, beige, and cream colors of this collection will fly off of racks in stores as they are everyday wearable. This collection is perfect for more casual events and street style and the celebrities that I picture wearing these collection. 60's styles dominated this collection as they have been trending on the runways since Spring 2014 collection started rolling out.

Runway Report: Oscar de la Renta Resort 2015

With a very successful Met Ball behind him Oscar de la Renta moved forward with the flow of fashion presenting an absolutely stunning Resort 2015 collections. The collection has got to be one of my favorites from Oscar in a very long time. It melds the classic Jackie O signature style of the Oscar de la Renta brand with hip modern youthful elegance. I love the way that Oscar tailors his clothing and makes it so women of all ages can be sophisticated. I can see women of all ages and backgrounds falling in love with pieces of this absolutely stunning collection, from first ladies to pop stars. Black, white, raspberry, gold, navy, red, and pink all make their color marks alongside classic and graphic floral prints and color blocking. As with most Oscar de la Renta collections this collection is bound for the red carpets of premieres, galas, and political functions across the world.

Runway Report: Altuzzara Resort 2015

Joesph Altuzarra looked to the 1982 film "Querelle" for the inspiration for his Resort 2015 collection. This brought about the nautical inspired details as well as the black, red, white, navy, and gold color palate. With each collection that Altuzarra releases I grow more and more excited for the one that will follow. He brings classic with a twist. There always items that bring a new insight to the items that are required for a perfect wardrobe and would be a perfect investment for anyone to ad to their closets. The amazing creations have also caught the eyes of up and coming red carpet darlings, such as Lupita Nyong'o, and veteran red carpet divas, Like Cate Blanchett & Nicole Kidman. I am already excited to see what the winner of this years CFDA Womenswear Designer of the Year Award will present come New York Fashion Week for his Spring 2015 collection come September.

Runway Report: Ralph Lauren Resort 2015

Ralph Lauren has joined a growing list of designers that are staging actual runway shows for their Resort presentations. Yesterday at this NYC flagship, the Rhineheart Mansion, the master of American sportswear presented his absolutely amazing Resort 2015 collection. With a black, navy, white, and gold color palate these looks will be the talk of the Hampton's come summer season next year. Relaxed silhouettes mixed with well tailored skirts and pants make this collection one of my absolute favorites to be unveiled thus far. Only in the past 2 years have we seen Ralph Lauren pick back up on the red carpet scene and I am sure that we will be seeing several of these absolutely stunning creations on the backs of the worlds most glamorous women.
