2013 Met Ball: Spokesmodels Wish List

Every year there are some stars that are expected to walk the red carpet at the Met Ball wearing brands that they are most loyal to on the arms of their respective designers. In the past several years Emma Stone has attended the gala wearing a Lanvin dress be it runway inspired or hot off the Fall runway or completely custom made. For this years 'Punk: Chaos to Couture' themed gala I think that this red and black brocade dress from the Fall 2013 RTW collection would be the best option for the star who is one of my favorites on the red carpet. I of course would edit this dress to turn it into a full ball gown. This would give this look a very 60's inspired shillouette which Emma should play off of by adding a sleek up-do and a light smoky eye. A black and gold Lanvin minaudiere, a pair of gold strappy pumps, and she is set to stun as a spokesmodel for Lanvin at the Met Ball
At last year's Met Ball January Jones wore a bold yellow Atelier Versace gown that was inspired by a bodysuit worn on the runway. For this years gala the former face of Versace sunglasses and handbags should pick this stunning eggplant purple screen siren gown from the Versace Fall 2013 RTW collection. I think that this gown would be a perfect match for January, a mix of sexy, classic, and modern. I would not have her wear the matching purple collar but a simple pair of earrings and a statement cuff as the jewelry for this look. Finish with an old Hollywood side part hairstyle, a black Judith Leiber clutch, and some black Christan Loubotuin 'Lady Max' sandals and January is set for this red carpet.
Marion Cotillard has started to wow me on the red carpet again. She did take home the Best Dressed Brand Ambassador for her relationship with Christian Dior and continues to make sweet magic with the house on the red carpet. For the 'Punk: Chaos to Couture' Met Ball in May I think that this houndstooth bustier dress with a two tone draped skirt from the Christian Dior Fall 2013 RTW collection would be a perfect choice. It is a great mix of French ease, Hollywood glamour, and punky undertones for this event. Much like the dress I picked for Emma Stone I would lengthen this skirt to make it a full length dress with a train. Finish with a bold red clutch, silver Christian Louboutin 'Lady Max' sandals and simple jewelery and Marion will continue to wow me on the red carpet.
