So over the past two days you have seen what I want the nominated actresses to wear to the 2014 Academy Awards ceremony one week from tonight, but I am sure that a few of these ladies will make a wardrobe change as they make their way into the 2014 Vanity Fair Oscar Party. Up first is Amy Adams, since I choose to put Amy in a ball gown for the ceremony I chose to go with a simpler silhouette for the Vanity Fair party via this ink blue and copper Carolina Herrera Fall 2014 RTW gown. This halter neck gown that features a bow detail at the neck is perfect for the after-party where Amy can let her hair down, so to speak, and relax knowing that the song and dance of awards season is over. A pair of copper strappy sandals, a blue Prada satin box clutch, and simple jewels will finish off this perfect after-party look for Amy.
I am almost positive that Cate Blanchett will take home a little naked gold man come the 2014 Academy Awards next Sunday and will relish her second win well into the night at the Vanity Fair Party. While I don't think that I would ever want Cate to take off the Elie Saab couture gown I want her to wear for the ceremony, but it is just too grand for Cate to wear for the after-party. That is why I picked this grey Ralph Lauren Fall 2014 RTW silk jersey long sleeved gown that features an open back. I have to say that this gown is elegant and sexy and sophisticated all wrapped up into one elegant look. A bright pink lip, a pair of silver sandals, and a pair of diamond cluster earrings will complete this look along with her little gold statuette.
Whilst Jennifer Lawrence must do her obligatory duties and wear Christian Dior for the 2014 Academy Awards ceremony, she will be able to change into something a little bit more fun and edgy for the after party. This bold red Alexander McQueen Spring 2014 RTW strapless gown with a gold waistband would be absolutely perfect. After her big pink Dior ballgown at last years ceremony JLaw partied the night away in a sliver custom Calvin Klein slinky number that just made her look like an old Hollywood movie star. Finish the look with a red and gold Alexander McQueen clutch, a pair of gold sandals, simple hair and makeup will make Jennifer look even more glam on the red carpet at the 2014 Vanity Fair Oscar Party.
And last but not least we have a wish for the newest red carpet diva to take to the red carpets, Lupita Nyong'o. While she hasn't changed for after parties in the past I think that she will come Vanity Fair from whatever bold creation that is made for her by Prada. The moment I saw this blood orange Prabal Gurung Fall 2014 RTW long sleeved high necked gown that features a side cutout and a split up to there, I knew I wanted to see Lupita wear this creation. This gown is sexy and sophisticated which is something that Lupita pulls off quite well. A pair of gold sandals and her little gold man, that's right I am going against what everyone is saying and I am picking Lupita for the win!, and this look will be completed for the after-parties red carpet.
