Alicia Keys is set to perform with Bonnie Raitt (Something to Talk About) in a tribute to the late matriarch of R&B Etta James. For the red carpet, I would love for her to wear this black mermaid Vera Wang gown from her Fall 2012 Bridal collection. Just this dress, a pair of black Christan Louboutin sandals, and some bomb ass diamond earrings and bracelets maybe infusing either black diamonds or sapphires into it would be absolutely stunning.
Gwyneth Paltrow is going to be among the presenters at the 2012 Grammy Awards on Sunday night. I think that Gwynie, who usually skips the red carpet at this event, which sucks because she always looks stunning, should wear this gold and white Balmain long-sleeved mini dress with fringe on the sleeves. What you may not notice from the picture is that the gold pattern isn't a print or even sewn embroidery, it is all hand sewn beads, which makes Balmain almost couture level. I think that this is truly a Gwyn dress as she loves herself a long sleeved mini. I would leave one of the top buttons undone to show just a little bit of cleavage, but not a lot, and wear some amazing gold strappy sandals. Her hair should be wavy and voluminous, kind of like she did last year when she visited The Ellen DeGeneres Show.
