2012 Toronto Film Festival: Premiere Wish List Part 3

Today we start our wish list for the Toronto Film Festival with the star of 'Hyde Park on Hudson' Laura Linney. We don't see much of Laura on the red carpet and I will say it is on very rare occasion that there is something that I fall in love with, in fact don't think I've loved a look was when she donned a canary yellow Elie Saab Spring 2008 Couture gown (my favorite Elie Saab collection EVER) for the 2009 Golden Globe Awards when she won for her role in her TV shoe 'The Big C.' I think that wearing this Valentino Resort 2013 burnt orange minimalist silk peasant dress would be a great option for Laura especially with her skin tone and hair color. The dress shows off her shape and looks sophisticated and age appropriate. Add a gold metallic leather clutch and some gold strappy sandals to complete the look.
'Imogene' is the second film that Annette Bening will be premiering at the Toronto International Film Festival. I think that this strong rose embellished shoulder white Marchesa sheath dress with a 1/2 length sleeve is another elegant option for the 54 year old actress. I would replace the white belt for one that is gold, add a gold Marchesa crystal embellished clutch, and a pair of gold Jimmy Choo kitten heel sandals will keep this look absolutely stunning and red carpet ready.
Also staring in 'Imogene' is former 'SNL' funny lady Kristen Wiig. Kristen has a great relationship with designer J. Mendel wearing his designs many times most notably for the 2012 Academy Awards. So for this years Toronto Film Festival I would like to see Kristen wear this blue grey leather J. Mendel Resort 2013 dress. I think that Kristen would look absolutely amazing wearing this dress even if I am not the biggest fan of leather dresses on the red carpet this seems like one of the few good ones. Add a gunmetal grey clutch and strappy sandals to complete the premiere worth ensemble for Kristen.
Kristin Scott Thomas has such an elegant red carpet style and I am really looking forward to the French actress looking stunning on the red carpet at the Toronto Film Festival premiere of her new flick, 'In The House.' I think that this dove grey long sleeved Elie Saab Fall 2012 RTW gown with a knotted draped detail would be perfect for the star. I think that just adding a silver Edie Parker confetti clutch, silver peep toe pumps, and some amazing drop Van Cleef & Arpels earrings would complete this elegant ensemble.
Someone else that I would also love to see wear Elie Saab at the Toronto International Film Festival is Diane Kruger. Whilst Diane is not actually premiering a film at the festival her hunky beau Joshua Jackson is and as he is always at her side on the red carpet she is usually at his so here is what I want her to wear. As it is not Diane's night I would like for her to to subtle elegance wearing this black chiffon gown with a sheer beaded lace pattern yoke on the neck. I think that even if Diane tried to fade into the background she would still shine in this gown. Pair it will a gold clutch, black strappy sandals, and a pretty gold diamond bracelet and she is ready to stand next to her man and look absolutely stunning whilst doing so.
Marisa Tomei will have to work really hard to out shine Diane Kruger at the 'Inescapable' premiere where she will be promoting the film with co-star Joshua Jackson. I think that the star who tends to favor more avant garde looks would look amazing in this Alexander McQueen Resort 2013 ensemble. I think that this look which consists of a white organza to with ruffled cap sleeves and gold embroidery paired with some high waisted black tuxedo pants and a wide belt at the natural waist line. I think that this looks is just dramatic enough to outshine Diane which is not an easy task to endure. But to really do so the styling would have to be spot on. A gold and black Alexander McQueen box clutch and some amazing black and gold pumps or strappy sandals are what is needed to complete this sexy but different ensemble.
