2014 Golden Globe Awards: Best Performance by an Actress in a Motion Picture – Musical or Comedy Wish List

Amy Adams was absolutely fantastic in 'American Hustle,' and out of all the Nominees for Best Actress in a Motion Picture Musical or Comedy I do believe that she will take home the trophy. I love it when Amy takes to the red carpet and I can not wait to see what she has in store for the 2014 Golden Globe Awards next Sunday. The moment I saw this amazing green Oscar de la Renta Pre-Fall 2014 strapless floral print ball gown it just screamed Amy to me. Amy isn't one to wear a whole lot of print on the red carpet but I think that this gown would look absolutely stunning on the back of Amy. A brown Raowulf gemstone clutch, a pair of bronze Gucci sandals, as well as some amazing jewelry and Amy will look fab picking up her Best Actress trophy.

'Francis Ha' star Greta Gerwig has always stunned me when she has stepped out in Prabal Gurung's designs which is why I have chosen to make another wish for her to wear the brand. The first wish came from as Prabal Gurung Spring 2014 RTW collection for the Critics Choice Movie Awards and now we have a wish for Greta to wear this black, baby blue, and baby pink Prabal Gurung Pre-Fall 2014 color blocked gown for the 2014 Golden Globe Awards. Next Sunday we will see Greta walk the red carpet at the Beverly Hilton hotel in Beverly Hills, California. I am sure that no matter what she wears Greta will be the cause of some kind of conversation within fashion circles with whatever she decides to wear. Finish this look with the runway black and white Casadei for Prabal Gurung cap toe pumps and some simple jewels to keep the focus on the dress, no clutch because I figure Greta's hands will be in the gowns pockets most of the evening, and she will look fabulous.

Julia Louis-Dreyfus is a double nominee with a Best Performance by an Actress in a Motion Picture Musical/Comedy for 'Enough Said' and Best Performance by an Actress in a Television Series Musical or Comedy for 'Veep.' She may take home one of her two trophies and I think that this black Zac Posen Pre-Fall 2014 velvet embellished gown. This is a very slinky gown that Julia tends to favor and would look amazing wearing, A simple nod to the 1990's and the 1930's. A black clutch, a pair of black peep toe pumps, and some amazing diamond dazzlers will complete this look for Julia.

'August: Osage County' is the film that will be bringing Meryl Streep to Awards Season this coming year and quite possibly to the Academy Awards. The red carpet veteran gets it oh so right on the red carpet when she does but oh so wrong more often than not. The 64 year old actress is the most decorated Hollywood actress in history and does a fantastic job when performing in any film that she is given. For the 2014 Golden Globe Awards I have chosen to put Mrs Streep in this cranberry red Georges Hobeika Fall 2013 Couture gown which is very reminiscent of the 1960s. With its long sleeves and partly sheer blouse and sleeves this gown would look fantastic on Meryl. Pull her hair into a chic updo, a pink lip, a pair of matching Salvatore Ferragamo pumps, and a gold Salvatore Ferragamo clutch and Meryl will be ready to hit the red carpet with a red carpet hit.
