Borrowed from the boys got a whole new definition when Marissa Webb sent her Spring/Summer 2016 RTW collection down the runway during MADE Fashion Week at Milk Studios. The collection was one of my favorites of the first day of New York Fashion Week because it was one of the few that did not infuse the 70s, at least in a blatantly obvious way, during the collection. After 3 seasons of 70s styles now I am starting to feel a little fatigue. There are many other decades that can be referenced and I really hope that fashion finds a new decade to be obsessed with soon. This collection was a perfect blend of soft and hard, masculinity and femininity.
