Awards season 2016 officially kicked off on Saturday night with the red carpet of the Palm Springs Film Festival Awards Gala. Some of the stars brought it, like Cate Blanchett in Marc Jacobs and Brie Larson in Jason Wu, while others fell flat, like Rooney Mara in Lanvin and Amber Heard in Dolce & Gabbana, and Saoirse Ronan was all kinds of crazy in Duro Olowu. This red carpet did just enough to keep me wanting more. I will be tweeting out outfits from the People's Choice Awards on Wednesday night and then I will be live-tweeting the Golden Globes red carpet and show with my partner in snark Kelly from Dream In Lace.
